Supplying, laying, fixing, jointing and testing LT under ground XLPE insulated, galvanised teel strip or wire armoured heavy duty electric cable with alumimium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 10 Sqmm x 4 Core, IS 7098 marked, with electric connection lugs, laid in trenches/under floor or fixed naked with walls / on poles/ in ducts / in GI pipes etc. and including taking down complete all as specified and directed. Note - Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, PCC cover and GI pipe shall be measured and paid separately.

Dismantling of old unserviceable ACSR or AAC conductors, all as specified and directed

Dismantling of old unserviceable GI earth wire or service feeder or distribution span all as specified and directed

Dismantling of old unserviceable insulators of any type and any size all as specified and directed

Supply and laying GI pipe 'light grade' 40 mm in trenches, under floors, roads, along poles for protection of cables with all necessary fittings and sealing ends complete all as specified and directed.

Description all as per Sl. Item No. 05 above but GI pipe 'light grade' 80 mm

Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth; for laying of cables, pipes etc. and getting out all excavated material in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in and including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing of excavated surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for locally available river sand cushioning for under ground cable in trenches 8 cm before laying and 15 cm after laying of cable and punned thickness of sand shall be measured and paid for 18 cm only after punned/consolidated thickness complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying unreinforced PCC Cable protection cover, class LV, type-1 flat with size 250 x 150 x 40 mm laid flat width wise complete all as specified and directed.

M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground in vertical position (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth strip of size 25 x 4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, all as shown in electrical plate no. 3 of SSR Part - 1, connected to earthing test point and complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) earth chamber, RCC 1:1.5:3, type A-1 cover slab, 40 mm thick reinforced with 6 mm dia TMT bar @ 150 mm C/C both ways, 10 mm dia plain bar lifting handle embedded in cover slab, 20 mm bore medium grade GI watering pipe, 15 mm bore GI light grade earth lead protection pipe, funnel, wire mesh, copper lugs, charcoal and common salt in alternate layer etc.
