Improvement of Lighting System for 6 Nos Circles of HAL Township.

Supply of outdoor type Polycarbonate feeder pillar shall be standing mounting, dust and vermin proof with IP-55 protection. Stand for mounting shall be made of 40 X 40 X 5 M.S Angle. Feeder pillar shall have pad-locking arrangement. incomer 63 Amp MCCB should be 63Amps, MCB & contactor suitable for 415V, 50 Hz supply, the panel have contained all accessories for Auto ON/OFF the Street lights with digital timer & tuggle switch for mannual operation . The power circuit shall have color sleeve of the corresponding phase and ferrule on Cu lugs and control circuit shall have ferrule and insulated cu lugs. 2 nos earth terminals bolts shall be provided.

Supply and installation of coil earthing up to 0.5 m from the street light foundation, including excavation, placement, backfilling and proper compaction, complete with supply of suitable size nuts, bolts and washers, and making proper and secure earth connection to the street light pole, ensuring effective earthing as per relevant standards, complete in all respects as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Installation of outdoor feeder pillar box for pathway lighting by erecting the feeder pillar on the approved cement concrete foundation and grouting it properly in the CC foundation, including making complete electrical connections of incoming and outgoing cables, and including supply and fixing of suitable size double compression glands, cable lugs, PVC insulation tape and all other necessary accessories under vendor’s scope, complete in all respects as per specifications, approved drawings and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation of cable trenches and laying of 1.1 kV grade underground cables along and across roads, including protection of cables by covering the trench with HDPE pipe wherever required, and providing suitable size reinforced spun concrete pipe or GI pipe where the cable passes through roads, complete with supply and fixing of aluminium lugs, PVC insulation tape, and proper end terminations, including all materials, labour, tools and equipment necessary for execution of the work; the contractor shall collect the cables from the store using own labour, tools and transportation, restore the surface to its original condition after completion of cable laying, and carry out insulation resistance (IR) testing of the cables before and after laying, all complete in all respects as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply of decorative tree poles, each 4 meters in length, fabricated from hot-dip galvanized heavy-duty pipes. The poles shall have a bottom section of 150 mm diameter and 1500 mm length. Each pole will feature Seven (7) branches made of 40 mm GI pipes as per the approved design. The base plate shall be 16 mm thick, measuring 300 mm x 300 mm, suitable for 20 mm foundation bolts, with properly welded stiffeners to ensure structural stability. The poles shall be surface-treated with PYU etch primer followed by two (2) coats of PYU paint in the colour code specified by HAL. A service window shall be provided in the lower part of the pole with suitable arrangements for stud connectors, a 25-amp MCB, and associated wiring. The supply shall conform to quality standards.Warranty shall be 5 years.

Construction of M-20 grade RCC foundations for Decorative 7 Arm galvanized ornamental poles, including the provision of two (2) flexible PVC pipes of suitable diameter inserted inside the RCC foundation for cable entry, supply of TOR rods, excavation, shuttering, backfilling, curing, and all other associated works, to be executed as per approved drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, ensuring structural stability and compliance with relevant standards.

Shifting, installation, testing, and commissioning of Decorative 7 Arm galvanized ornamental poles, and connecting them using copper conductors of designed capacity and size along with Bakelite sheets, including the supply of lugs, PVC-insulated cables from the top to the terminal block mounted at the bottom of the pole, followed by thorough testing and commissioning. Earthing shall be properly connected to the earth point of the pole, and the poles shall be erected using suitable equipment, tools, and labor, ensuring compliance with relevant electrical and structural safety standards.
