Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of KPPP Portal on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

An amount of Rs. 1725401.52/- has been provisioned in the sanctioned estimate for the necessary deposit contributions to ESCOM, Electrical Inspectorate charges and other statutory charges. This amount shall be payable to contractor on pro-rata basis only after submission of the bills/vouchers/receipts from the concerned department and after transferring all the records in the name of the respective beneficiary.

The completion of the work on all-basis including obtaining Revenue Register Number (R.R No.) from ESCOM/Concerned department will be on contractor scope of work

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of KPPP portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

The power supply work has to be executed under the supervision of Asst.Executive Engineer (Electrical), of concerned O & M Sub-Division/ A.E of Divisional Works unit.

The material should be ISI mark and approved quality of BESCOM and the purchase bill invoice and repayment of procurement should be produced on completion of work.

The guarantee period of actual constructed line/ equipment will be one year from the date of commissioning/ handing over and if any defects/ troubles arises during the period of one year the cost of repair and replacement should borne by the tenderer.

All documents to be furnished are to be attested by the Notary.

Conditional tender will not be considered.

Sub - leasing /G.P.A of work is prohibited.

The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason.

Tender application amount will not be refundable.

The Contractor shall pay the Earnest Money Deposit EMD & Tender Transaction fee in the KPPP portal using any of the payment modes like Credit Card, Direct Debit, National Electronic Fund Transfer NEFT, Over the Counter OTC

The tenderer shall scan and upload all the original documents required for this bid to the KPPP portal. and work done should be issued not below the rank of Executive Engineer.

1Percent of the bill amount of the successful tenderer will be deducted towards cess as a labour welfare fund.

The contractor has to make is own arrangement for procurement of all materials required for the work. There is no departmental supply of materials.

The Tenderer shall have valid Class I and above electrical contractor license issued by KPWD/KPTCL (uploaded original registration certificate should be produced during evaluation)

Omission and typographical errors which are in the opinion of the executive Engineer will not be a ground for claims of extra payment

Royalty charges will be deducted from the contractors running bill as per the prevailing royalty charges at the time of payment.

The tenders are invited as per Standard tender Bid Document KW-3 and shall abide for the conditions contained in Standard tender Bid Document KW-3.

GST & EPF registration certificate from competent authority

IT & GST will be deducted as per government order

The contractor must upload existing commitment of the ongoing works in hand for the calculation of tender capacity if he fails to submit the existing commitment details such tenders are liable for rejection

The Bidder shall quote the rates with adding GST for either materials or works contract (Service). All other duties (Including those recovered from the contractor bill), taxes, and other levies payable by the Contractor under the contract, or for any other cause, shall be included in the total Tender Price submitted by the tenderer.

Technical Criteria

General

Minimum financial turnover (civil engineering construction works) not less than two times the annual payments from this contract (Rs. xxxxx Lakhs)

Satisfactoriy completed (atleast 90%) as prime contractor at-least one such similar work of value not less than Rs. xxxxxxx (80% of estimated cost of tender)

Executed in any one year the following minimum quantities of work (Cement Concrete - xxxx cum, Earthwork - xxxx cum, etc) (80% of peak rate of construction)

Tenderer or his identified Sub Contractor should possess valid Electrical License for executing building electrificatio works and should have executed similar electrical works totallng Rs. xxxxxx (not less than 50% of electrical works) n any one year

Tenderer or his identified Sub Contractor should possess valid license for executing water supply / sanitary engineering works and should have executed similar works totallng Rs. xxxxxx (not less than 50% of electrical works) n any one year

Owning the following key and critical equipment for this work (xxxx, xxxx, xxxx)

Liquid assets and /or availability of credit facilities of no less than Rs. xxxxxx Lakhs (estimated cash flow for 3 months of peak construction period)

Total value of civl engineering works executed and payments received in the last five years (year-wise)
