A/R and M/O Various roads under PWD Division South West Road-2/Sub Division-1,2,3,4 and 5 during 2026-27. (Sh- Emergency Response arrangement For Water Logging through Deployment of additional Maintenance Van and 127 HP Pump during Monsoon season).

MAINTENANCE VAN 1) Providing services of maintenance van of approved make of Mahindra Bolero Maxx or equivalent with minimum engine capacity 2500 CC or more and GRAP Stage-IV compliant, of specified size having provision for installing GPS tracking device with 360 degree Sim based camera conforming to Particular Specifications as mentioned in the NIT document. The GPS System with 360 degree sim based camera shall be provided and fixed by the agency in the maintenance van and further maintenance and operation of the same shall be done by the agency. The maintenance van shall be provided four beldars/sewer man, One driver and one mason/welder (as per requirement) with essential tools like bituminous road cutter, automatic plate vibrator, Air compressor, Hilti breaker, welding machine and other essential tools required for repairs, etc. as mentioned in the Particular Specifications in NIT document for carrying out the following activities complete to the satisfaction of Engineer- in-Charge. Note: (1.) The hire charges of maintenance van is on per day basis are for normal working hours of 8.00 Hrs. shift, however the van should be mobilised by the agency in case of urgency /emergency, other than normal working hours within two hours of giving instructions by Engineer-in-charge for which payment shall be made as per relevant item. (2.) Include cost of services of operating staff/driver, Cost of lubricating oil, diesel/Petrol/Kerosene oil,CNG, other consumables for running the maintenance van, required tools and equipments for carrying out below mentioned works. (a) Daily inspection of roads for observing the deficiencies mentioned below and rectification as per time schedule of scope of work . (i) Damaged Carriage way /NMV/Footpath /Central verge /Side verge. (ii) Missing manhole covers. (iii) Chocked bell mouths /Kerb Channel. (iv) Water logging if any. (v) Obstruction in the Carriage way /NMV /Footpath. (b) Minor repair of footpath by fixing paver block or with C.C. & minor repair of Kerb stone by fixing kerb stone with cement mortar (material will be supplied by the department free of cost). (c) Keeping the roads free from unauthorized banners, posters, hoardings, flex boards unauthorized overhead signage or advertisement boards anywhere in the ROW of the roads either in Central Verge, Footpath etc. (d) Keeping the drains free from floating material. (e) Relocation of dislocated grills, railings, manhole /drain covers and kerb stone. (f) Cleaning of road side low height manually accessible fixture and fitting including supporting structures. (g) Filling of pot holes on carriageway, materials shall be supplied by department at free of cost. (h) Other minor / petty repair works for which material to be supplied by department at free of cost. (i) Removal of unclaimed malba, construction waste etc. from Road side and disposal of at temporary collection site of sub division/Division.

Extra for Providing services of maintenance van beyond 08 (Eight) working hours duty (rate is over and above base item).

Providing services of maintenance vehicle TATA 407/609 tipper or equivalent with mechanically unloading facility (Engine CC more than 2900 CC) and shall be GRAP Stage-IV compliant, of specified size having GPS tracking device 360 degree Sim Based Camera conforming to Particular Specifications as mentioned in the NIT document. The GPS System with 360 degree sim based camera shall be provided and fixed by the agency in the maintenance vehicle and further maintenance and operation of the same shall be done by the agency. The maintenance vehicle shall be provided with one driver with smart mobile phone facilities, four beldars with essential tools required for lifting etc. as mentioned in the Particular Specifications in NIT document for carrying out the following activities complete to the satisfaction of Engineer- in-Charge. Note:(1.) The hire charges of maintenance vehicle is on per day basis are for normal working hours of 8.00 Hrs. shift and as when required during night also, however the vehicle should be mobilised by the agency in case of urgency /emergency within two hours of giving information by Engineer-in-Charge. (2.) Including cost of services of operating staff/driver, loading, unloading, all leads and lifts from site of work. Cost of lubricating oil, diesel/Petrol/Kerosene oil, CNG, other consumables for running the maintenance van, required tools and equipments for carrying out works mentioned below. (a) Collection and Removal of malba/rubbish/garbage/similar unserviceable dismantled or waste materials, construction waste etc. from different locations along the road footpath, berm portion and road side and disposal at temporary collection site of Sub Division/Division & any other work assigned by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing services of Hydraulic Mobile Pick and carry Crane Capacity up to 15.00 Tonne for 8 Hours per day for removing Jersey Barriers from one place to another place, aligning the same, lifting the vehicles, heavy materials etc including the cost of driver, supervisor all complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Hiring and operation of hydraulic excavator (3D)/JCB Machine for 8 Hours per day for dressing of katcha portion and removal of malba i/c loading, unloading of dismantled material in trucks or dumpers, levelling and dressing of ground etc. including all risk involved in demolition operations etc. i/c cost of driver, helper, diesel, lubricants etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

PUMP

Hiring Charges for Providing and operation of trolley mounted moveable diesel engine driven Horizontal centrifugal mix flow auto priming pump set of 127 HP or more capacity with self start provision i/c set coupled with pump of BIS mark ( brand of Cosmos,Atlas, Monarch or equivalent) having discharge capacity of 1300 cum mtr. per hour & the speed of the pump shall be such so it shall be able to operate at 1500 rpm with 200 mm dia semi rigid PVC delivery pipe of total length 100 mtr. free of cost round the clock at site for pumping out/ bailing out/storm water from sump/ stangated water from road as per direction of engineer-in-charge. The cost of work i/c the hire charge of diesel pump set, operator with Khallasi for pipe handling, watch and ward, T & P required for running of the diesel engine pump for different location on road. The diesel pump may be shifted as when required at site as per full satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing fuel (i.e. diesel) to generator set complete as per direction of engineer in charge ( Payment shall be made on the basis of fuel invoice/bills & their actual consumption , whichever is less.

Hiring charges for providing and operation of trolley mounted moveable diesel engine pump set of 82 BHP to 85 BHP self start provision i/c set coupled with pump of Ashoka Leyland, Kirloskar or equivalent of having discharge with 100 LPS (Litre per second) with 200 mm dia delivery pipe of length not less than 50 metre free of cost at site round the clock at site for pumping out/bailing out/ storm water from sump/stangated area of road as per direction of engineer-in-charge. The cost of work i/c the hire charge of diesel pump set, operator with Khallasi, T & P required for running of the diesel engine pump for different location on road. The diesel pump may be shifted as when required at site as per full satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing fuel (i.e. diesel) to generator set complete as per direction of engineer in charge ( Payment shall be made on the basis of fuel invoice/bills & their actual consumption , whichever is less.
