High intensity retro reflective sign boards made of hardened ACP sheet 2 mm thick POP riveted to stainless steel pipes as required. Sign boards shall be reflective on both sides with wide HP sheet and overlay film of blue/green colour with computer cut letters/sign and border made of high intensity grade white/yellow sheeting and mechanically fixed on ACP sheet complete all as specified and directed. Notes:-(i) Stainless steel pipe will be measured and paid for separately under item No. 17.00 above. SEWAGE DISPOSAL WORKS H.D.P.E. Double Wall Corrugated(DWC) Pipes(ISI marked) 200 mm bore SN-8 Class as per IS 16098 part II for nonpressure Underground drainage and Sewerage applications with specials including cost of special O rubber ring couplers etc. , laid in trenches on concrete bed to level /gradient ,jointing with appropriate class fittings as per manufacturer's instructions including jointing accessories and fittings complete, all as specified and directed.
ROAD, PATH, CULVERTS AND HARDSTANDING WORKS Preparation of un-surfaced Water bound macadam (WBM) surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud ,dust, loose material, foreign material etc., sweeping with power brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressors to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming coat on un-surfaced wet mix macadam surfaces conforming to Clause 502 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion SS1 grade,confirming to IS 8887(latest edition) @ 7.5 kg per 10 sq metres using primer distributor which shall be self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed.
Preparation of surfaces and applying evenly a Tack coat conforming to Clause 503 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion RS1 grade,confirming to IS 8887(latest edition) @ 2.5 kg per 10 sq metres using using primer distributor which shall be self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed.
Providing, laying & compaction of Bituminous Macadam (BM) conforming to Clause 504 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granual material etc. of grading II as per Table 500-7 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), premixed with bituminous binder, Bitumen grade VG-30 @ 3.50% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 3.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job mix formula as per MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) for bituminous concrete shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less 3.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 504.2.4 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 45.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.
Providing and laying 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) Bituminous Concrete (BC) layer conforming to clause 507 of MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler, 5.5% binder (paving Bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved Job Mix Formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen to the specific temperature, thoroughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen content, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives as per mix design in Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity, carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks, or any other approved and suitable arrangements, laying the hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, level and camber thorough rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface, including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified and directed.
M & L for precast (factory casted) cement Concrete kerb stone casted in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with plain or interlocking joints (as directed), making groove in existing road of desired dimension, placing in erect position Kerb stone in edging and set and jointed in cement mortar 1:4, making good distrubed surface of ground complete all as specified and directed.
Centrifugally cast ductile iron pressure pipe 200 mm bore, with socket & spigot ends ISI marked with IS 8329/2000 classification K7, In standard length of 5.5 - 6 mtr suitable for and including push on joint (gasket D jointing) with cement mortar lining in the pipes, complete all as specified and directed. The over-current setting shall be adjustable & Breaking capacity Ics=> 36kA. The MCCB shall be of certified design confirming to IEC 60947-1, 2 & 3. NOTES FOR CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING PLANT 2. The tenderers/bidders shall note that the work of Air Conditioning Plant shall be executed through specialist firm as approved by GE. The following requirements shall also be ensured during execution of the work:- (a) Submission of all documents required according to the contract. (b) Preparation of the design and drawings for all the work within one month of acceptance of tender. The contractors shall be fully responsible for the smooth functioning of the Plant. These designs and drawings, shall be approved by the Accepting Officer. (c) Details of drawings, detailed plant layout with all mechanical and electrical equipments to be installed at various/ different levels at second stage within 10 days from the date of placement of work order. (d) Where specifications for any item of work are not given in MES schedule or particular specifications, specifications as given in relevant Indian Standard or code of practice shall be followed. (e) Tenderers intention is invited to relevant clauses of particular specification. If any provision not covered under Sch ‘A’, Special conditions, particular specifications but mentioned in relevant clause of SSR Part I (2009) and is required for completion of work then same shall be taken into consideration and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor on this account and in such event decision of Accepting Officer shall be final and binding. (f) Any damage caused to the installation or any part thereof except for the accepted risks as per condition 48 of IAFW-2249 shall be made good by the contractor under his own arrangement as per the specifications given in the contract without any extra cost to the Government. (g) Accepting officer at his discretion may depute an expert for checking the performance of the Air Conditioning Plant. The contractor shall provide all major repairs/ overhauling etc as per the recommendation of expert and the same shall be notified to the GE immediately on occurrence and no extra shall be paid on this account.

(h) The contractor shall ensure that the work is maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, procedures and relevant safety codes. (i) The tenderer and the MES as the case may be shall consult with each other and jointly decide on the scheme for protection of the interconnection line(s) and of the facilities at both the ends. All air conditioning equipments installed shall be consistent with the orders of IEM detailed by Accepting Officer. (j) Notwithstanding the provisions of this agreement, the MES will not be responsible for any damage that may occur to the tenderer with the MES system. (k) Charges shall be borne by the contractor for commissioning, testing as well as routine checking. Notwithstanding such checking/ verification in any event, the MES shall not be responsible for any damage caused to the tenderer on account of any mistake in such checking/ verification. (l) All safety measures as per IS provisions and as per laid down procedure of entire Central Air Conditioning Plant shall be the responsibility of the contractor. (m) The yard sticks to regulate RARs payment against Air Conditioning Plant shall be got approved from CWE by the GE after technical check and following procedure shall be adopted :- (i) Stage wise yardstick %age for the Air Conditioning Plant shall be approved by CWE during currency of work. (ii) Contractor shall submit yard stick for Air Conditioning Plant in duplicate to GE within one month of acceptance of tender, including percentage payment to be made for each stage of theAir Conditioning Plant alongwith supporting details i.e detailed estimate, stage wise abstracts etc. (iii) There may be certain changes in yard stick percentages as submitted by the contractor while approving the yardstick for saidAir Conditioning Plant due to market rates of various materials & due to policy of department of with-holding sufficient amount for later stages of the work in Air Conditioning Plant. Contractor shall not have any claim on this account and percentage payment to be made for each stage as approved by the CWE shall be final & binding on the contractor.

Supply and packing pea gravel of size 2 mm to 5 mm all around casing pipe and slotted pipe complete all as specified and as directed
DEMOLITION Digging out and removal of Soils of VIFT/ NAT walls (before demolition of RCC/ PCC) to a distance exceeding 250 metre but not exceeding 500 metre and to be deposted where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 metre above the starting point within the Def land complete all as specified and directed.
Dismantling old unserviceable Service wire complete all as specified and directed.
Dismantling and taking out old unserviceable earthing of any type including demolition of concrete, covers etc and excavation as required complete all as specified and directed.
Dismantling old unserviceable aluminium strip of any size complete all as specified and directed.
Dismantling of old unserviceable air termination rod of any type complete all as specified and directed.
Note: For the purpose of arriving at lumpsum amount, the amount of credit sch for buildings and other services i.e Sch 'A' section XV (i.e Rs 7,78,110.00) shall be deducted from the total amount arrived.
