MANNING AND OPERATION FOR DIFFERENT SUB STATIONS INCLUDING ATTENDING DAY TO DAY ELECTRICAL COMPLAINTS BY ELECTRICIANS HELPERS AT NAVY NAGAR UNDER GE NW NAVY NAGAR COLABA MUMBAI

Comprehensive maintenance of internal electrification of Married and OTM Accommodation under GE(NW) Navy Nagar in one shift per day (0900h to 1700h of 8 hour shift) excluding Sundays and Holidays as directed by Engr-in-Charge for Eleven teams comprising of One Electrician & One Helper each. (a) Attending and carrying out day to day complaints of users within the GE(NW) Navy Nagar AOR on priority basis within the given time and manual registering of complaints if required all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (b) Updating status of complaints and depositing the old stores. Nature of complaints shall be:- PRIORITY-I No lights, fan repair, repair/replacement of switches, sockets & fan regulators. Replacing burnt MCB and main switch, repair/replacement needed to set right short circuit and related fire incidence, Voltage fluctuation due to internal wiring faults and repair to faulty earthing except laying new earthing/earth pit. PRIORITY-II Replace defective fans, call bell, switch board & point wiring. General cleanliness & upkeep of the complaint Cell. Any other duty as assigned by the Engr-in-Charge .

Note :- (a) Surprise check will be carried out by department representative and if any employes is not available at his working place, he will be treated as absent. (b) After issue of work order, contractor has to submit the list of employees including reserve alongwith relevant documents as mentioned in PS to the Engineer-in-Charge. (c) The payment shall be made to employee on OR before 10th of every calender month. Payment to employees shall be done by crossed cheque through Aadhaar linked bank account only and it shall not be less than minimum fair wages as per act in vogue. (d) Contractor has to submit proof of payment of EPF subscription made by him alongwith RAR failing which RAR will not be progressed for payment.

(e) Contractor has to employ the number of labours per day as intimated by the Engineer-in-Charge for which he has to make alternative arrangement. (f) The rates quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included provision of all latest labour laws / regulations including all relevant taxes as applicable. (g) Contractor shall quote the rates considering their monthly leaves, releiver etc as per labour laws and nothing extra shall be paid on account of the above. In case of absence of staff/tradesman from duty, payment of that day will not be paid. In addition to that a penalty of Rs 1000/- for Electrician and Rs 800/- for Helper per day per person will be recovered from contractors dues. Also in case of long absence (more than one week) of staff/tradesman, the penalty shall be recovered including Sundays & Holidays if any. The contractor shall have no claim on this account. (h) Contractor has to supply three sets of Tools and Plants (as applicable) to the labours employed by him and should be placed with the safe custody of department. Rates quoted shall be deemed to be included the above provision. (j) In case any variation in manpower as indicated in Column No 4 of BOQ due to any reasons / or any manpower held in Department or any policy change contractor should have no claim on that account.

(k) The bidders are advised not to quote rate less than minimum fair wages as circulated by competent authority. If the quoted amount is less than the estimated cost of work mentioned in NIT, the lowest bidder will have to deposit FDR/BGB as elaborated herein after in favour of Accepting Officer within 07 days of opening of financial bid (Cover No 2). The deposited amount shall be the difference between estimated cost mentioned in NIT and amount quoted by lowest bidder. FDR/BGB shall be released only after satisfactory completion of work. If the contractor fails to pay minimum wages to employees, the department shall have right to withhold the said amount which will be verified by GE. The decision of Accepting Officer regarding amount to be withhold shall be final and binding. The withhold amount will be utilised by GE for payment to employees if contractor fails to pay minimum wages and balance amount if any shall only be released. If the lowest bidder fails to deposit the amount as stated above within 07 days, the contractor shall be banned for 06 months & his bid shall be rejected. The contractor shall sumbit BGB/FDR in three equal parts of validity shall 04 month, 8 months & 12 months for the purpose of encashment/ release as the case may be. (l) All type of stores required for carrying out the duties will be provided by the Department for repair and replacement (m) The Contractor shall provide required Tool Kit & Tool box as applicable to rectify the complaints (n) The Contractor shall provide required Registers with respect to the Contract as per the format given by the Department (o) The contractor shall be responsible for any mishappening, accident and loss of life of the workman engaged in the work. Nothing shall be admissible on this account. (p) The Contractor shall provide mobile phone for on duty staff for effective communication (q) The Contractor shall provide transport if any required for attending complaints (r) Contractor shall submit the labour licenece as applicable according to latest labour laws /act & Copy of GST Regn registered number issued by concerned authority. (s) Insurance coverage, compensation if any applicable or necessitated due to mis operation during working shall be the responsibility of contractor. (t) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of suitable reliever of menpower engaged by them
