Installation, Testing and commissioning of transformers of below mentioned ratings Outdoor / Indoor transformers excluding the construction of foundation, including transportation from store/yard to site at the place of installation, unpacking, positioning in place, site assembly of loosely furnished accessories, placing on foundation, replacement of silica gel, connection of primary & secondary sides, phase checking, meggering, HV test, touch up painting including connection of auxiliary circuits, including fixing of nuts and bolts etc. filling/topping up of oil, providing stoppers for wheels etc.,including all labour and materials, as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor shall carry out the transformer oil filteration as part of installation/commissioning to bring the oil dielectric strength to required value as per latest Indian standards.Streamline filter machine and oil test kit are to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. Before performing any activity (e.g. testing/ commisiong/ oil filteration etc) Contractor must / shall submit the procedure to Engineer-in-charge for his review. MOTORS
Earthing Testing, commissioning and checking of all interface connections of following ratings of motors installed by others. change of grease, wherever required including supply of approved type of grease, no load / full load running of motors, including all labour and materials, as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Motor shall be tested for insulation value, winding resistance etc. If the insulation value is found to be low, it shall be improved by heating by means of external heater or by low voltage injection locked rotor method. Motors shall be run on no load for eight hours and hourly readings of current, temperature etc. to be recorded. After no load run test motor shall be run on load under specific instruction of the Engineer-in-charge. Ensuring direction of rotation of motor in line with requirement of driven equipment is contractor's responsibility. Load run parameters to be recorded. All tools, instruments required for the job are to be provided by the contractor. Also any assitance required to Client for CEA approval shall be in Contractor's scope.

Termination of fire alarm / communication cables (jelly filled / non jelly filled) and connection of leads, cutting and stripping of cable insulation, including supply of termination kit, fixing of cable gland (including drilling of suitable holes in equipment for fixing purpose), crimping the lug on to the conductor, clamping of the cable cores, supply & marking with wire number ferrules etc. supply of all necessary consumables and GI hardware, supply & installation of PVC shrouds for outdoor terminations including all labour and materials complete as per approved drawings, directions, of Engineer-in-charge. The cost for supply of suitable cable lugs and bimetallic strip (if required) shall be included in termination, no separate payment shall be made for cable lugs and bimetallic strip. ELECTRICAL HEATERS

MANPOWER RATE
Providing technical assistance during pre-commissioning / commissioning phase by deploying different categories of skilled personnel as listed below .The quoted man-months rates shall be inclusive of all wages, overtime for working beyond normal hours including holidays / weekly off, travel / accommodation expenses, including PPE’s, all tools & tackles etc and other costs which the bidder shall be entitled to claim by way of Man-Month Rates for the services. Prior to deployment of personnel at site, Contractor shall submit the detailed CVs of such persons proposed to be posted at site to Owner for concurrence & approval. The Owner and Contractor shall jointly maintain a record of all such personnel chargeable at Man-Month Rates deployed each day which shall be used as the basis for calculating payments due to the Contractor for the services covering assistance during pre-commissioning & commissioning phase. For deployment covering part of the month, payment shall be made on pro-rata basis considering 30 days in a month. Should the performance of any of Contractor’s personnel be found unsatisfactory by Owner, the replacement of such personnel shall be carried out by Contractor immediately

CEA/ STATUTORY APPROVAL SERVICES
CEA and any other Statutory approvals for the Entire Electrical installation of Contractor SOW is under Contractor scope. Job includes arranging visit of officials, inspection. Preparation of drawings if any,liquidation of punch points by Inspectors, arranging Certificate & approvals all complete. The Base drawings as available with Owner shall be provided..(The prescribed fees for approvals & inspection if paid by Contractor shall be reimbursed by Owner against submission of Documentary Evidence).
LETTERING AND STENCILING
Letter painting and marking of all buses of switchboards, all incomers, bus couplers, outgoings with details of Tag No, feeder rating in KW/Amp, sending end source, in the front of the panels and bus bar, panel nos.etc. on the rear side of the panels for all switchboards, all other substation equipment viz.transformers, capacitors, neutral grounding resistors, VFD panels, other panels, tray segment etc for equipment housed in electrical substations including supply of all material such as stickers, enamel paints, stencil, etc including supply of all labour, materials as per the specification of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
