Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc n.exc 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25cm complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated material not exc. 50 m & depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above starting point complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking out old existing GI/CI water mains 100 mm bore (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and fittings for re-use in the work and removing unserviceable pipes and fittings from site complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for construction of valve pit of internal size 120 cm X 120 cm X 90 cm with one brick thick brick masonry wall in cement mortar (1:4), PCC foundation 15cm thick (1:4:8) type D-2 with 15cm offsets, PCC copping 5 cm thick (1:2:4) type B-1, plastering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4), 40X40X6mm angle iron frame and 3mm thick MS sheet cover with locking arrangement including painting to steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and necessary excavation and earth work including dismantling of existing one complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per serial item No. 28 above but pit of size 90 cm X 90 cm X 60 cm.

S&F cast iron sluice valve for 100 bore pipe heavy duty (PN-1.6) with brass spindle and iron wheel head flanged both ends and including all jointing materials required viz rubber gasket 3mm thick, bots, nuts and washers including dismantling old unserviceable one complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F cast iron heavy pressure non return butterfly valve for 100 mm bore pipe heavy duty (PN-1.6), including dismantling old unserviceable one complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of Servo Voltage stabilizer for automatic operation, three phase, naturally oil cooled, indoor type & designed for input variation between 340 V to 460 V with output voltage stabilized at 415 with accuracy ± 2.5% and speed of correction 8 Volts per second and of capacity 200 KVA complete all as specified in para 19.100A of MES SSR part-I, 2009 and all accessories as per manufacturer's recommendation complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, fixing & testing of 300 Sqmm, 3.5 Core XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminum conductor, 1100Volt grade on wall/floor/trench with fixing acessories, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, install & testing of 4 pole MCCB 400 Amp 50 HZ 415V with breaking capacity 35/36 KA including taking down old unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for earthing complete including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil with galvanized steel earth plate electrode size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanised earth strip 32x6 mm by means of bolts nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-1 connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth wire protected by galvanised iron 40 mm dia. light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm ore medium grade PCC pipt with pre cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt funnel etc. including taking down old unserviceable one complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE : (i)The concrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 tye C-1, 40 mm thick pre cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8 mm TMT bars @10 cm C/C on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in liew of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No.5 of MES SSR Part-1 (ii) Item includes the cost of 7.5 m GI pipe for protectio of earth strip. (iii) PCC pits shall be provided atleast 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pipt itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends , elbows etc. shall be deemed to be included in the quoated rate. (iv) Item includes the cost of 7.5 mtr length earth strip. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
