Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock ,soft rock ,hard rock chiseling, wedging out rock(where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the lines, grades, width, cutting and trimming of side slopes and levels as shown in the drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site, according to the MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same within in all leads and lifts in acquired road width and transportation of un-useful materials for filling in roadways camber ,embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus materials to approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries ,materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means labour if required.All useful materials such as stones, shingle aggregate and slates etcetera shall be sorted out and stacked in proper stack. Recovery of stones to the tune of 173.54 cubic metre quantity @ Rs. 300/- only ( at the rate of rupees three hundred ) only per cubic metre shall be effected from the contractor’s running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public/ private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases. Earth work in excavation for all type of structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling / wedging out rocks ( where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 300 & 1600 and as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and upto any lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable / approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (one hundred fifty millimetre). Compacted thickness including shoring, strutting and pumping and bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidental. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated plain cement concrete 1:4:8 ( One cement is to four sand is to eight graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size on ground or under water including pumping or bailing out water( surface and sub soil water), dewatering for all heights /depths and any quantum of water including removal of slush which may arise at the time of laying concrete for all heights/ depths, including the cost of form work and curing for 14 ( fourteen) days complete in Retaining walls and Breast walls etcetera as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 800, 900,1200 and 1600 as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate is including the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Back filling behind abutments, return walls, wing walls and retaining walls etcetra complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification section1200 and 1600 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge ,including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate is including octroi, royality ,Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing 100mm ( One hundred millimetre) diameter poly Vinyl chloride pipe Weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutments, wing walls return walls and retaining /breast walls etcetra extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1 (V) : 20 (H) (one vertical is to twenty horizontal ) towards draining face complete as per drawings and MORD technical specifications section 700 & 1200 or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Providing and laying Mechanically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain / reinforced concrete in sub structure complete as per drawing and technical specification of grade M-15 ( M-fifteen) designed mix with minimum cement content not less than 275 Kg/cum ( two hundred seventy ive kilogram) per cubic metre with 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size crushed stone aggregate on ground or under water and curing complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying concrete complete for all heights / depths including the cost of form work as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 800,900 & 1200 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing & Fixing of "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3mm (three millimetre) thick corrugated steel metal beam rail, 70 cm. (seventy centimetre) above road/ ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post 150x75x5mm (one hundred fifty into seventy five into five millimetre) spaced @ 2.0 mtr. (two metre) centre to centre 1.80 mtr. (one point eight zero metre) hight 1.10 mtr. (one point one zero metre) below ground/ road level all steel parts and fitment conform to IS : 1367 and IS 1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150x75x5mm (one hundred fifty into seventy five into five millimetre) 330 mm. Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.275 Kg. (zero point two seven five kilogram) per square metre on prepared granular surfaces treated with primer and cleaned with Hydraulic brooms as per drawing & MORD Technical Specification section 500 or as directed by the engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rate is including the octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying 30 mm ( thirty nillimetre) compacted thickness bituminous concrete with minimum 100-120 ( one hundred to one hundred twenty) TPH hot mix batch type plant with electronic control grading and using crushed aggregate 13.2 mm ( thirteen decimal two millimetre) nominal size of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder VG-10 (viscosity grade ten) at the rate of 5.40 to 5.6 ( five decimal four zero to five decimal six zero) percent of mix weight of transported to site laid with censor paver finisher hydraulic with censor control to the required grade, level and alignment over a previously prepared surface and rolling complete with smooth three wheel roller 8 to 10 ( eight to ten) tonne capacity or preumatic type roller of 12 to 15 ( twelve to fifteen) tonne with tyre pressure of atleast 0.56 MPA ( zero decimal five six) for inter mediate rolling and finish rolling with 6 to 8 ( six to eight) tonne smooth wheeled tendom roller to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH technical specification section 500 and as per the directions and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes complete as per MORTH technical specification section 800 & 1000 as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
