Providing of services for comprehensive maintenance, manning and operation of sewage treatment plant in two shifts (each shift of 8 hours continuous duration, operated by one operator and one helper in each shift) per day (including Sunday and holiday) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Detail of equipments to be operated and maintained are as under :-

Centrifugal pump set coupled with 40 HP electric motor, make Kirloskar - 02 Nos (at STP for distribution of treated water)

Submersible pump set, type KRTUK coupled with totally enclosed submersiable motor, make KSB - 06 Nos (at STP in tank )

Air Blower coupled with 20 HP motor make Kirloskar and Shanktra - 03 Nos (at STP for MBBR)

Pump set type DN coupled with induction motor 25 HP, make Kirloskar - 02 Nos (at STP for pressure filters)

Centrifugal pump set type SPQM coupled with 1.02 HP electric motor, make Kirloskar - 02 Nos (at STP between claritube settler and thickner)

Screw pump coupled with 1 HP motor, make ABB - 02 Nos (at STP for sludge sumps)

TEFC type electric motor 2 HP, make Crompton Greaves - 02 Nos (at STP one for thickner scraper and one for clari tube settler)

Centrifugal pump coupled with 5 HP electric motor - 02 Nos (at STP for lorry filling point)

Dosing pump for mixing PAC with PP head and PVC fitting anti syphon valve, foot valve, LDPE tubing, make Milton Roy India - 01 No (at STP for pumping the water from HDPE water storage tank)

Agitator motor with dosing pump with shaft and blade for mixing the chemical in tank, make Bonfiglioloi - 01 No (at STP for PVC water tank)

Tulu pump , make Aqya Services - 02 Nos (at STP one for chloronome plant and one for circulation of water in blower motor)

Electric control panel - 07 Set (at STP one at each plant)

Diesel Gen Set of capacity 200 KVA water cooled - 01 No (in case of failure of electricity).

NOTES FOR SRL ITEM NO 1.00 ABOVE :-

To provide above services, the contractor shall employ one operator and one helper for each shift. Weekly OFF will be given to operator as per rules and additional employee for the same shall be deployed. The operator (FGM) deployed shall be ITI passed in relevant trade from any recognized institute by Govt with at least 01 (one) year experience in the same field and one helper having minimum experence of one year in running a such kind of plant.

Dual media bed shall be regularly cleaned

The operator will do the oiling, greasing, gland packing etc minor repairs.

Providing the services for comprehensive manning and operation, to operate the sluice valves (any size) installed/connected with water supply distribution mains of overhead tanks located at different locations in Mil Stn LGJ in two shifts (each shift of 8 hours continuous duration, each shift operated by two operators) per day (including Sunday and holiday) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

NOTES for srl item No. 2

The contractor shall employ two operator (Valvemen) for manning operation in each shift as per time table and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Each operator shall report daily (at the time of starting of shift) at clear water complex and will perform duty as per further direction of Engineer-in-charge. The operator should be fully conversant with trade. Total 04 Nos (02 for 1st shift and 02 for 2nd shift) operator shall be employed by the contractor for different areas/Tank or as directed.

After supplying the water in their respective areas valve men/operator will report to ON duty FGM at filtration plant near main power house and help him in cleaning the filtration plant, back washing the filter beds of water filtration plant, shifting of alum and general cleanliness of the pump house area.

Time of shift will be as decided by Engineer–in-Charge. The operator is bound to performing the duty as per time of shift given by the Engineer-in-charge. No request of contactor will be entertained for change the time of shift.

Operator shall attend any type of minor complaint of the area of OHR, minor maintenance of sulice valve and valve pit with minor stores i.e. nut, bolts, rubber sheet and gland packing etc. The contractor shall provide these minor items without any extra cost to the department

Contractor should visit the installation/OHR before quoting the rates and no infrastructure will be provided by the department to perform the duty. The contractor may provide the temporary additional infrastructure if he feels the requirement for performing the duty by operator.

All T & P and Vehicle required for efficient manning and operation and minor maintenance of water supply installation shall be arranged by the contractor and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in his quoted rates.

Daily Log Sheet as per specimen given by department shall be provided & maintained by the contractor without any extra charges for stationery.

It is the responsibility of contractor to provide rest reliever and make arrangement during the holiday/leave and the rate for the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates and no extra payment will be given to contractor on this account.

For shift duties required to be performed as per duty chart, but if not performed by the operating staff of the contractor for what so ever reason, a penal recovery as mentioned in PSS-II shall be recovered from the contractor’s due.

Any damage caused to the equipment due to mishandling/negligence of the operator shall be repaired by the contractor without any extra cost.

Operator (Valvemen) will ensure the availability of water in OHT and water supplied to troops as per timing decided by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing the services for comprehensive maintenance, manning and operation, of DG sets (04 Nos of capacity 200 KVA each) water cooled, three phase including operating connected switch gears to supply electric power to AC plants (in case of failure of electricity or as per requirement / directed by Engineer-in-charge) located at technical area (Restricted area) continously round the clock i.e. 24 hours duration in three shifts (each shift of 8 hours continous duration, operated by one operator in each shift) per day (including sunday and holiday) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing the services for comprehensive maintenance, manning and operation, of DG sets (01 Nos of capacity 45 KVA signal centre 01 No. of capacity 25 KVA at Ops room) water cooled, three phase including operating connected switch gears to supply electric power to AC plants (in case of failure of electricity or as per requirement / directed by Engineer-in-charge) located at technical area (Restricted area) continously round the clock i.e. 24 hours duration in three shifts (each shift of 8 hours continous duration, operated by one operator in each shift) per day (including sunday and holiday) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

COMMON NOTES FOR BOQ SRL ITEM NO. 1 TO 4

Diesel and Engine oil (for running the DG set), Liquid Chlorine Gas, Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC) powder, Altoch, Bleaching powder (to be used at STP) shall be issued under Schedule 'B' free of cost and same shall be carried from store yard of GE LGJ to installations as per requirement by the contractor at his own arrangement and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. Demand for these items shall be given by the contractor two days in advance.

Time of shift will be as decided by Engineer–in-Charge. The operator is bound to perform the duty as per time of shift given by the Engineer-in-charge. No request of contactor will be entertained for change the time of shift. Duty roster will be prepared accordingly.

Installation in operating state will be handed over at the commencement of the contract mentioned in work order.

Necessary tools and plants required at installations shall be provided by the contractor. First aid box complete with medicines shall be provided by the contractor at the installation

The operator shall attend any type of minor complaint, minor repair of pump set, DG set, all other equipments including periodical maintenance services and electrical fault at the installations. The minor stores to attend minor repair like nuts, bolts, washers, screws, shaft seal, sleeves, tape insulation, thimbles, oil/grease, short piece of cable for small joints, rubber sheet, gland packing etc shall be provided by the contractor and cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates

Major complaints if noticed in the installation shall be immediately intimated to concerned JE or AGE (E/M).

It is the responsibility of contractor to provide Weekly OFF reliever and make arrangement during the holiday/leave and the rate for the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates and no extra payment will be given to contractor on this account

Checkup and cleaning i.e. daily, weekly, monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly of all equipments installed at each installations shall be carried out by the operator as specified or chart given by Engineer-in-charge and contractor shall be fully responsible for the same.

Any damage caused to the equipment due to mishandling/negligence of the operator shall be repaired by the contractor without any extra cost.

For shift duties required to be performed as per duty chart, but if not performed by the operating staff of the contractor for what so ever reason, a penal recovery as mentioned in PSS-II shall be recovered from the contractor’s due.

The rate quoted shall not be less than minimum wages (inclusive reliever to operator as per labour act) as notified by the Govt. of India / State Government / Local body, whichever is higher at the time of quoting tender

COVID-19 guidelines shall be fallowed by the operator as per Govt of India Min of Home Affairs notifications. It will be mendatory to live at least 50% of staff/operators inside the Mil Stn/Cantt area during lockdown/emergency. No extra shall be deemed to be pad to contractor on this account.

Manpower for collection of DHPP shall be the responsibility of contractor whenever required. Demand of POL shall be given well in avance and when remaining DHPP shall be for at least 06 Hrs running of DG Set.

Transport for DHPP shall be provided by Deptt free of cost on demand.
