The medicines and drugs are reserved to purchase from firms registered with Railway Board for tender item and manufacturing unit of the offered product should be inspected and passed fit by Railway Board.If any firm offers a product which is not available in the Railway Board approved product list, that offer will the liable to be rejected.

Product will be regarded as one salt. Various strength of same will be regarded as one product as per para 2.1.3 of DPP 2014/RS(G)/779/13 dated 03.02.2015

The firm will mention name(s) of specific stores of area where such drug is being sold in the open market. The zone will undertake random 5% check to establish that the product quoted by the firm is actually available in the store(s) mentioned by the firm. Further, if at the point of time of inspection such drug is not available in the Store (s) due sale of available stock, the retailer will be asked to provide a copy of purchase memo/supply order of the product from the firm.

The bidders are required to quote rates for one tablet/capsule.

The bidder confirms that rates and other financial terms quoted in relevant columns of financial bid will only be ruling terms for acceptance, and such terms quoted anywhere else should be ignored. (Denial of this condition not recommended).

Make in India policy will be applicable as per the conditions of the tender documents attached & it is in line with the guidelines issued by Railway Board vide Letter No. 2020/RS(GY779/9/PL.2 dated 03.12.2020. The purchase will be made from only those firms who have more than minimum local content as prescribed in the make in India policy. However this policy will not be applicable for small purchases having value less than 5 Lakh. For items included in MII exemption list issued by ministry of finance (for tender invited within validity of exemption ), The tender shall be treated as global tender and offer from non local supplier is also acceptable as per MII policy.

Purchase reserves the right to redistribute of qty. among of the consignees during the currency of the contract on its sole discrepion during the currency contract (including extend currency).
