Disconnection of electric connection from DG set of any description and in any position, for servicing, taking out & removing unserviceable/defective parts/spares, cleaning, servicing, oiling and greasing of necessary parts, refixing the serviceable parts in position after servicing, replacement of unserviceable parts including draining-out of existing engine oil and filling new engine oil of same grade and filters, refixing of all accessories and testing on full load complete all as specified and directed for following capacity of DG sets :-

(a) 30 KVA to 63 KVA 3 phase 50 Hz

(b) 100 KVA to 180 KVA 3 phase 50 HZ

(c) 200 KVA, 3 phase 50 HZ

NOTE for Srl item No 1.00 : (i) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under relevent items of Sch 'A’ as Supply only to the extent covered under the relevent supply only items here-in- after but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, locking nuts, small springs, screws/gaskets/ packing /studs etc. (ii) Engine oil shall be drained out carefully, collected by the contractor in his own suitable containers and stored properly for checking serviceability including cleaning of oil sump by pouring kerosene oil all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) Fresh engine oil replaced for DG sets shall be supply and filling by the contractor and shall be measured and paid separately under relevent item of Sch ‘A’ . However, cost of filling is deemed to be included under the rates quoted by the contractor for above item.

Checking/Servicing of DG Set battery 12 volt, 92/ 180 AH cleaning of battery terminals by hot water and applying petrolium jelly over battery terminals, water level checking including topping up with distilled water complete all as specified and directed ( Note - Bettery terminal, Battery cable and distilled water will be measured and paid separatly)

Supply and fixing following items for battery 92/180 AH 12 Volts :-

(a) Heavy duty brass battery terminal

(b) Battery lead 70 Sqmm multistandard, single core, copper conductor

(c) Distilled Water of approved make

Taking down radiator assy of DG set of capacity 30 KVA to 63 KVA from engine mounting by opening water hose and nut bolt cleaning of radiator inside and out side with anti rust solution, checking the radiator by filling water and repairing for any leakage by brazing the radiator and ensure for no leakage Re- fixing the radiator at place including transportation for repair to workshop or site all as directed.

Dismantling the fuel injection pump from engine block of DG set of 30 KVA to 63 KVA disconnecting all fuel inlet and outlet lines, disconnecting the drive for carrying out repairs/ replacements including calibration, re assambling of FIP and fixing back in position after repair / replacement of unserviceable parts all as directed. Note :- 1. Calibration of FIP complete shall be got done from manufacturer authorized dealer / workshop to entire satisfaction of Engineer- in- charge. 2. Shifting and loading/Unloading of FIP and transporting for repair in workshop at Indore city from MCTE Area Mhow is including in deemed rate.

Taking down unserviceable self starter 12 Volts for DG sets, servicing and replacement of old carbon brushes, bearing and contact blades etc and refixing after servicing and replacement of unsv parts. (NOTE : Bearing of alternator will be measured and paid separately)

Taking down unserviceable self starter 24 Volts for DG sets, serviceing and replacement of old carbon brushes, bearing and contact blades etc and refixing after servicing and replacement of unsv parts. (NOTE : Bearing of alternator will be measured and paid separately).

Taking down unserviceable alternator suitable for 12 Volts for DG sets, serviceing and replacement of old carbon brushes, bearing and contact blades etc and refixing after servicing and replacement of unsv parts. (NOTE : Bearing of alternator will be measured and paid separately)

Taking down unserviceable alternator suitable for 24 Volts for DG sets, serviceing and replacement of old carbon brushes, bearing and contact blades etc and refixing after servicing and replacement of unsv parts. (NOTE : Bearing of alternator will be measured and paid separately)

Disconnecting / taking down unserviceable alternator armature from DG set 100 to 180 KVA capacity and transport to civil workshop by civil vehicle opening the same and taking out by cutting burnt winding wire complete rewinding with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge, insulating material, warnishing, finishing and connecting at its position, testing & commissioning of DG set to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge

Taking down old turbo charger assembly from engine mounting by opening nut, bolt and transporting to civil workshop for repairing,cleaning and servicing from inside and outside with anti rust solution, checking the same and repairing for any leakage by brazing the turbo charger and ensure for no leakage. Refixing the turbo charger at same place of 30 KVA to 63 KVA capacity DG set. Note:- Transportation cost included in unit quoted rate.

All as above item No 20 but 100 KVA to 180 KVA capacity DG set.

All as above item No 20 but 200 KVA capacity DG set.

Taking down old unserviceable PVC coolant makeup bottle of cap 3.5 Ltr suitable for 30 KVA DG set.
