Amount

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for as in sunken floor and roof complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down from chowkhats or frames area not exc. 1.5 sq. m each but with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) and removing to or from store complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out existing wooden door shutters of any description area exc. 1 sq. m and n.exc. 2 sq. m and refixing in the same opening each all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling roofing including ridges, hips, valleys and gutters, plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings etc., and stacking the material within 50 metres lead complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards / slabs / blankets, any thickness, including cover fillets complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for treatment for locally damaged / distressed RCC in following 5 stages :- (i) Chipping of loose concrete from beams, columns & all other concrete surfaces to expose sound concrete beneath using light chisel & hammer & also preparing concrete surface to receive further treatment, disposing the debris as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Clean the rusted reinforcement by applying a rust remover of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent, allow the product to act for a few minutes, then remove the loosened rust by tapping, using a wire brush, or any other suitable methods. Ensure thorough cleaning from all sides, to achieve a completely rust-free and finished steel surface. (iii) Providing and applying two coats of epoxy Zinc Rich Primer of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent anti corrosive coating to the exposed reinforcing bars after application of rust remover, also apply on the shear connectors / welded mesh / additional reinforcement of repair surface etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

(iv) Applying a coat of two-part solvent free epoxy resin-based bonding agent Nitobond EP/Epoxy Bonding Agent of Dr. Fixit / Fosroc / Sika or equivalent at rate of 2-3 Sqm/kg so that the old surface and new plastering surface can be bonded effectively. When the epoxy bonding agent reaches the tacky condition apply with ready to use fiber reinforced polymer mortar. (v) Restore the cover concrete of RCC structural members in two layers, by applying required thick polymer mortar of Dr. Fixit / Fosroc / Sika or equivalent, which is a pre-packed fiber-reinforced structural repair mortar, requiring only water addition prior to use (W/P ratio of 0.17) & directly to be applied on sticky exposed concrete surface. It attains a compressive strength of 15-20 N/mm2 in 1 day & an ultimate strength of 45 N/mm2 at 28 days confirming to BS: 6319: part 2. Cure these surfaces using chemical curing compound for 21 days.

Material and labour for Micro concreting in RCC slabs/ chajjas / beams / columns including chemicals, reinforcement, form work averaging thickness not exceeding 25 mm thick as per the following stages :- (i) Support the slab and beam which is contributing the load for the column under rehabilitation. (ii) Remove the damaged concrete portions completely till the reinforcement is exposed from the member carefully with mechanical arrangements and hand chiseling and clean the dust particles. (iii) Anchoring shear connectors in the form of 'L' shaped bars of 10 mm dia HSD in to the existing concrete by drilling holes not less than 75 mm depth 12 mm dia in staggered position along the perimeter and height of member. Spacing shoudnot be less that 300 mm for all sides. Before anhoring clean the holes with Jet compressed air to remove dust particles and anchor the dowel bars serve as Shear connectors with chemical resin Lokfix E77 / Anchorfix 3030 manufactured by Dr. Fixit / Fosroc / Sika chemicals or equivalent.

(iv) Clean the rusted reinforcement by applying a rust remover of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent, Allow the product to act for a few minutes, then remove the loosened rust by tapping, using a wire brush, or any other suitable methods. Ensure thorough cleaning from all sides, to achieve a completely rust-free and finished steel surface. Followed by applying 2coats of Epoxy Zinc Rich Primer of Dr. Fixit / Fosroc / Sika or equivalent anticorrosive coating to the exposed reinforcing bars after application of rust remover. Also apply on the shear connectors/welded mesh/additional reinforcement of repair surface etc complete as per direction of Engineer in charge. (v) Applying a coat of two-part solvent free epoxy resin-based bonding agent Epoxy Bonding Agent of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent at rate of 2-3 Sqm/kg so that the old surface and new plastering surface can be bonded effectively. When the epoxy bonding agent reaches the tacky condition lay microconcrete. (vi) Providing leak proof shuttering system for the jacket portion of the members and dual shrinkage micro concrete of Fosroc/sika/Dr. Fixit or equivalent (compressive strength of Microconcrete should be 55 MPa at 28 days) Reinforcement will be measured and paid in connected item separately.

Material and labour for for treating Horizontal & Vertical expansion joints of 50mm size consisting of following :- (i) Providing and carry out expansion joint treatment after proper surface preparation to remove loose mortars, dust, foreign particles from joints as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Applying a coat of two-part solvent free epoxy resin-based bonding agent Epoxy Bonding Agent of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent at rate of 2-3 Sqm/kg so that the old surface and new plastering surface can be bonded effectively. When the epoxy bonding agent reaches a tacky condition, apply a ready-to-use fiber-reinforced polymer mortar to the joints, ensuring the joint width is maintained uniformly end-to-end. (iii) Fixing of tightly packed closed cell polyethylene based back-up rod, medium density of appropriate dia as per site condition to ensure no gaps or voids exists. followed by applying masking tape both sides of edges of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealant, Apply a primer coat of Pidiprime A of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent on the two sides of the substrate using a brush.

(iv) Supplying and applying Pidiseal PS of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent two-part elastomeric fuel resistance gun/pourable grade liquid polysulphide sealant,filling the joints with a suitable means starting from one end taking care at no point air is entrapped. After the completion of the filling, using suitable tool ensuring the seal is finished with proper adhesion on the two side surfaces and etc. complete. Removing masking tape after application of sealant joint and cleaning the surface and Complete all as specified and as directed. Allow sealant to cure for minimum 7 days before carrying out any testing. (v) Providing and carry out waterproofing detailing and expansion joint treatment system for over concrete surface using Triflex ProDetail of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent 2-component PMMA base liquid applied waterproofing system. product having certifications like ETAG 005 for durabiity, CE Certification, Root resistance as per FLL std, Fire proof as per EN 13501 etc. Mix and apply Triflex Cryl Primer of Dr. Fixit / Fosroc / Sika or equivalent over cleaned surface using suitable brush / roller coverage 0.4-0.5 kg/m2 , allow the primer to cure for approx. 25-30 mins @ 30 °C,

apply first coat of Triflex ProDetail of Dr. Fixit / Fosroc/Sika or equivalent by using suitable brush/roller coverage @ 2.0 kg/m2, installing Triflex fleece of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent while coating is still wet, roll the same to saturate in coating followed by application of second coat of Triflex ProDetail of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent with coverage @ 1.5 kg/m2, installing Triflex fleece of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent while coating is still wet, roll the same to saturate in coating followed by application of third coat of Triflex ProDetail of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent with coverage @ 1.5 kg/m2.

Mix and apply Triflex Cryl Primer of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent over cleaned surface using suitable brush/roller coverage 0.4-0.5 kg/m2 , allow the primer to cure for approx. 25-30 mins @ 30 °C, apply first coat of Triflex ProDetail of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent by using suitable brush/roller coverage @ 2.0 kg/m2, installing Triflex fleece of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent while coating is still wet, roll the same to saturate in coating followed by application of second coat of Triflex ProDetail of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent with coverage @ 1.5 kg/m2, installing Triflex fleece of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent while coating is still wet, roll the same to saturate in coating followed by application of third coat of Triflex ProDetail of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/Sika or equivalent with coverage @ 1.5 kg/m2. (vi) After setting provide Aluminium sheet of matching width in such away that one side is fixed and other end free. Refill the area with required brick jelly taking the joint up to top, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for fixing nozzle for epoxy , Packer drilling, installation and finishing .Drilling and fixing injection packers in RC members including, drilling holes in structural members at the intervals as per recommendation of engineer in charge. (i ) Cleaning of holes: Clean the holes by vaccum cleaner prior to fixing nozzles. (ii) Fixing of Packers: Insert 12 mm dia., 50~75 mm long injection packers in cleaned holes with structural grade epoxy adhesive like Dr. Fixit epoxy injection grout /Sikadur-31 or equivalent. Cutting of Packers: Cut the packers by cut of wheel after completion of grouting and filling with repair polymer mortar without damaging structural elements, complete all as specified and as directed .

Material and labour for applying a shrinkage free low viscous epoxy resin based injection grout for yield 0.88 ltr/kg Product requirements: Compressive strength >= 70 N/mm2 (7 days) according to BS 6319:PART 2; Flexural strength > 30 N/mm2 (7 days) according to BS 6319:PART 3; Tensile strength > 15 N/mm2 (7 days) according to BS 6319:PART 7; Bond strength > 10 N/mm2 (14 days) or concrete failure according to ASTM D 4541 , complete all as specified and as directed .

Material and labour for Anti-carbonation treatment for all concrete surface protection including equipments and supervision charges in following steps by (i)Providing and Applying Acrylic anti-carbonation coating on concrete surface, which is single component, cold applied, water based acrylic polymer and Specially formulated to Protect RCC substrate that is directly exposed to atmospheric conditions like UV radiation, heavy rain, industrial pollution & carbonation. Priming the surface with 1 coat diluted with water in the ratio 1:1 spreading @ 0.125 L/m2 as self-priming coat. Apply Concrete guard/Sikagard 550W of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/sika or equivalent without any dilution @ 0.25L/m2 in 2 coats to achieve DFT of 225 microns, The coating shall have Confirms in accordance with IRC SP:80-2008, Chloride Ion penetration – Concrete Guard (Coulombs) 575 as per ASTM C 1202 : 2019, SRI value of 104 as per ASTM E 1980 : 19 and Crack bridging ability up to 2mm.

The finished cost to include surface preparation, treatment of cracks completely as per specification as per the direction of the Engineer In charge. Note:- All waterproofing work suggested above shall be carried out by the in house application wing of the manufactuer or skilled waterproofing contractor under the guidance of a technical expert from the manufacturer. The contractor should submit the certificate issued from the manufacturer while receiving the work order.

Material & labour for filling the gap between PVC pipe and core cut with Pidigrout 10M of Dr. Fixit/Fosroc/sika or equivalent including shuttering the gap bottom with backer rod or with suitable material. Apply a coat of waterproof coat and place correct dimension comb cut piece of 60GSM geotextile fleece and place it across pipe and saturate it with waterproof chemical. Place another 60GSM geotextile fleece cut in flower pattern and placing at comb cut fleece and ensure to saturate the geotextile fleece with waterproof chemical.The gap between the pipes / sleeves / bore and RCC shall be free from dust, laitance, oil and water using compressed air or by mechanical measures. All Pipes to be placed/inserted in the core cut areas shall be aligned properly prior to bore packing. Cleaning / Roughening the inside surface of the bore hole and PVC Pipe outer area. Pipes to be inserted in the core cut areas with effective leak-free shuttering system. The pipe to be inserted, appropriately roughening with hacksaw-blade, applying a coat of Epoxy bonding agent of Dr. Fixit /Fosroc / sika or equivalent and sprinkle the quartz sand / fine sand and allow to dry for 6 hrs, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for mortar joints along the crack and adjacent to crack region shall be deep raked and filled with polymer modified mortar/ cement mortar 1:4 both on internal and external face complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for chicken mesh of appropriate size shall be fabricated and fixed across the crack using 'U' nails.The treated region shall be replastered with CM 1:4 as per standard practice and cured complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : Plastering Qty will be measured separately for payment.

Raking out joints/ pointing to squared rubble masonry, coursed or uncoursed in cement mortar complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Flush Pointing on stone work with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) for squared rubble masonry complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and fixing of false ceiling system with fine fissured edge tiles having humidity resistance(RH) of 95% NRC 0.34, light reflectance approx 84%, Thermal conductivity K=0.052- 0.057 W/MK, colour white, fire performance of class-I as per BS 476 part 6&7 in module size 600x600x16 mm thick suitable for green building application with recycled content of 38-41% with Armstrong silhoette profile exposed grid system with 15 mm white flanges incorporating a 6 mm central reveal in white/black colour. Silhouette, main runners & cross Tees to have mitred ends & "birdsmouth" notches to provide mitred cruciform junctions. The Tee sections have a galvanizing of 170 grms per m2 & passed through 500 hrs of salt Test.The main runner spaced at 1200 mm c/c should be securely fixed to the structural soffit using Armstrong suspension system at 1200 mm maximum c/c. Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete (1:2:4), type B0, using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate 30mm avg thickness as in padding concrete for levelling etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick over roof concrete surface in CM (1:3) and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement mixed with water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Cutting V grooves 15mm x 15mm in existing roof or terrace and cleaning out and filling / making good with two component polyester based resin repair compounds for crack filling of concrete as per directions of manufacturer complete.

Material and labour for APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3 Kg / Sqm minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyester non woven fabric (Weight not less than 150 gms/Sqm) laid on primed surfaces by forced application incl bituminous primer confirming ot IS-3384 applied @ 0.3 ltr / Sqm and applying aluminium paint @ 100 ml / Sqm including taking down old APP membrane complete all as specified and as directed. Material and labour for Vitrified ceramic tiles of size 10 mm thick coloured/dark shade,double charged area of each tile exceeding 0.36 sqm and n exc 0.42, in Walls Dado /Skirting etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including 10mm thick screed bed in cement mortar (1:4) including taking down old screed bed complete all as specified and as directed..

Tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre (maximum), horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. Tube challis, M.S. Clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of GE.

NOTE FOR SL ITEM NO. 97 & 98 :- (1) The elevational area of structure ( length /breath of building X height of building) cover with scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. (2) The payment shall be made one time only for execution of all items in each face of building / structure irrespective of the period of usage of scaffolding. (3) After completion of work all scaffolding materials shall be removed from building /structure by the contractor and the same shall be the property of the contractor and accordingly rate shall be quoted.

Material and labour for disconnecting the outdoor units of ACs fixed on the roof top of buildings without any damage to AC copper pipes , gas leakage and foundations and keeping in safe custody for refixing the same after completion of roof treatment works . Refixing the outdoor unit at the same location after completion of roof treatment work , reconnecting the AC copper pipes and testing on completion of work and gas refilling / repairs to pipe works to be carried out if required .Satisfactory functioning of ACs as per originally installed is the responsibility of contractor and cost is deemed to be including of this .
