SPL REPAIR TO 04 X STATIC WATER TANK AT 204 PET PL ASC

M & L to remove all loose and de-bonded plaster from the inner surface of the semi underground water tank, including raking out joints, cleaning the exposed surface and disposing of debris as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

M & L for through cleaning of the semi underground hydrant water tank using ample water including removal of algae, grease deposits and loose particle to expose and examine the extent of damage and leakage . All cleaning operations to be carried out as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

M & L for inspecting and check all small and large cracks on the internal surfaces of the semi underground hydrant water tank. Treat cracks according to their severity including filling of hairline cracks and cracks less than 1mm wide with approved acrylic based flexible crack sealers. M & L to rake out and open all major cracks exceeding 1mm in width as well as construction joints to the required depth. Treat the prepared surfaces by applying cement sand mortar mixed with approved SBR (Styrene butadience rubber) paste to ensure proper bonding and watertightness. M & L for single layer of polymer modified cementitious high strength repair mortar (Compressive strength after 28 days >50 N /Sqmm (according to ASTM C109) as per site requirement (Minimum 20mm thickness) in patch work all as per manufacturer's instruction complete as per manufacturer's instruction and all as directed by the Engineer in Charge. Make : M/S Fosroc/Dr Fixit/Sika/Pidilite/ Krishna Conchem/BASF/Sunanda/Asian as approved by GE.

M & L for applying an elastomeric two component polymer modified cementitious coating of 2mm thick at minimum coverage rate of 3.60 Kg/Sqm in pack of powder and liquid mix and applying as per manufacturer's instruction including cost of all materials, rent of tools, scaffolding etc complete all as directed by the Engineer in Charge. Make : Fosroc " Nitocote CM 210" or equivalent of Krishna Conchem/Dr Fixit/Sika/Pidilite/ Krishna Conchem/BASF/Sunanda/Asian as approved by GE.

M & L for applying an elastomeric two component polymer modified cementitious coating of 2mm thick as second coat at minimum coverage rate of 3.60 Kg/Sqm in pack of powder and liquid mix and when the second coat is still wet apply a dash coat polymer modified cement mortar and applying as per manufacturer's instruction including cost of all materials, rent of tools, scaffolding etc complete all as directed by the Engineer in Charge. Make : Fosroc " Nitocote CM 210" or equivalent of Krishna Conchem/Dr Fixit/Sika/Pidilite/ Krishna Conchem/BASF/Sunanda/Asian as approved by GE.

M & L for application of high build polymer modified cement plaster (1:4) mixed with 6 ltrs SBR latex per bag of cement over face of concrete of tanks 15 to 20mm thick in two layers surfaces applied as per manufacturer's instruction (Compressive strength after 28 days > 40 N/sqmm (According to AST C109) all as directed by Engineer in Charge. M & L for primer application a manufacturer approved solvent based bitumin primer over the concrete base raft and vertical side walls of fire hydrant tank, ensuring proper surface preparation and contineous coverage for adhesion of the waterproofing membrane with the rate including all scaffolding, tools and labour measured all as specified and as directed.
