CIVIL WORK

Earthwork excavation and depositing on bank with initial lead of 10m in narrow trenches to the required depth for laying of pipes for water supply works including all other incidental works in the following type of soils, etc., complete and as directed by the TWAD Board Officers.

Hard stiff clay, stiff black cotton, hard red earth, shales, murams gravel, stoney earth and earth mixed with small size boulders and hard gravelly soil etc., complete.

Earthwork excavation and depositing on bank within initial lead of 10m and to the required depth in all soil and all other incidental works, as directed by the departmental Officers in the following classification of soil.

Supply and Filling the foundation using M-sand in layers of 15cm thick including watering, ramming and consolidating and stacking for premeasurement complying with relevant standard specifications and as directed by the TWAD Board Officers.

Plain Cement Concrete 1:4:8 (one cement, four sand and eight hard granite broken stone of 40mm size ISS gauge) for levelling course of foundation including mixing, placing, ramming, finishing curing etc. complete in accordance with specification and as directed by the TWAD Board Officers. RCC M30 design mix concrete (Approximately for one cum of concrete 400 kg of cement, 0.47 cum of sand with bulkage and wastage , 0.57 cum of HBG stone of 20 mm size ,0.28 cum of HBG stone of 10 mm size are to be used) for the following members (excluding the cost of RTS grills for reinforcement, centering and shuttering, strutting), but including cost of mixing, laying of concrete, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, ramming consolidating, finishing, curing, water charges etc., complete complying with relevent standard specification and as directed by TWAD Board Officers.

Centering for soffits of RCC members or Plane Surface including shuttering, strutting to the centering and providing supports etc., complete for the following members using MS sheets of size 90x60cm and 'BG' 10 gauge stiffened with welded M.S. angles of size 25x25x3mm laid over silver oak (country wood) joists of size 10 x 6.5 cm spaced at about 90cm C/C and casurina props of 10 to 13 cm dia (spaced at 75cm C/C) for various heights and as directed by the TWAD Board Officers. Supplying, cutting, bending, tying, fabricating and placing in position of steel rods for all RCC works including cost of steel and binding wire etc.The steel should conform to the relevant IS specification and supplied with test certificate (Fe.415 grade as per IS specification No.1786/ 1985 and as amended from time to time) for delivery at site of work including loading, freight, unloading, stocking, transit insurance charges, etc., complete and as directed by the TWAD Board Officers. MATERIALS

Supply and delivery of MS spirally welded as per IS 3589/2001 with CML Internal 6mm to 12mm thick per meter and CMC external 20mm thick per meter with FE410 IS specifications. The cost of pipes includes loading, freight, transit insurance, incidental charges, packing and transportationcharges anywhere in Tamilnadu in good condition, etc., complete and as directed by the TWAD board officers. The cost of unloading, stacking at stock yard and conveyance from stock yard to site (maximum of 8km radius) are extra.
