Cleaning of equalizing tank /grit chamber/ oil grease chamber/stilling chamber of Sewage Water in the tank and removing/cleaning of tanks by scrapping with wire brush or any other means on walls and bottom of tank and removing the sludge / silt / sand / fungus etc deposited inside the sumps / tanks and depositing where directed, including writing the date of cleaning and due date of cleaning in white colour on black background on external walls complete all as required at site and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at 7 BRD for Sewage Plant capacity 250/300KLD. Note: The rate quoated by the tenderer is deemed to be included in the unit rate of the following :- No manual scavenging is allowed at any cost. The Engnieer-in-Charge shall ensured that no manual scavenging is being carried out at site any lapse shall be treated as per law of land and contractor alongwith Engineer-in-Charge shall be held responsible for the same

(a) Diesel Driven Pump Set of appropriate capacity with operators including necessary POL required at site for De- Watering of Sewage septic water including PVC heavy duty flexible hose pipe for suction and delivery purposes. (b) Lorry/Tractor mounted storage tank of appropriate capacity not less than 3 KL should be used for disposing off the same to the location where approved by the MCD (c) Necessary Oxygen Mask, Gloves, Gum Boot and all other safety aspects to be observed including necessary Phawda, Steel Bucket, Manila rope etc. required at site and all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (d) Contractor shall insure all safety measures and will be responsible for all safety precaution of worker.

All as per item No 01 but cleaning of MBBR-1 and MBBR-2 of Sewage treatment plant capacity 250/300KLD complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 01 but cleaning of Tube settler/lamella clarifier of Sewage treatment plant capacity 250/300KLD complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 01 but cleaning of Treated water tank with chemical contact tank of size upto capacity 250/300KLD complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning and desiIting the sewage well of capacity ,dewatering the complete well,of 100 to 125 Cum removing all the deposited sludge, soil and other material from the well including bailing / pumping out muddy water from the well by manually or by providing suitable pump sets from bottom level of well, scrapping out the scales / deposits from inner surface of the well throughly, washing with bleaching powder and soda ash, cleaning / bailing out settled materials completely by any means and removing sludge to a distance up to 3 km out side of defence land limit and dispose off in low lying area including dewatering as required. Note:-(i) Contractor is to arrange own diesel pump, T&P etc for cleaning purpose and minor spares and consumable like small screws, washers, cleaning agents consumables etc is deemed to be included in the cost, the unit rate quoted deemed to be include all safety precautions to be taken while working in Lift well. (ii) The accumulated/deposited sludge after drying shall be disposed off out side the defence land to a distance exceeding 1.5 KM and not exceeding 5.00 KM from the Lift well cost of which shall be deemed to inclusive in the quoted rate and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (iii) Before commencement of work, necessary arrangement for disposal of sewage/sludge be made and work to be carried out in fast pace by deploying more man power at lift well in order to complete the work at the earliest.

Carrying sample for testing of treated water/raw water of STP and submission of detailed test report to the office of the Engineer-in-charge. Details are as under:- (a) carry ing out minimum essential testing of water as per IS 3025 & IS 1622 mandatory for chemical , colour, odour, PH value, TSS, BOD,COD, Total residual chlorine, total Nitrogen, sulphate, oil and grease, Ammonical nitrogen(NH3-N) and Bacteriological total coliform organism per 100ml (MPN) and Ecoli in 100ml (b) Treated sewage water shall confirm to the following characterstics:- (i) TSS : < 10 mg/litre (ii) BOD : < 10 mg/ litre (iii) COD: < 150 mg/litre (iv) Ph: 6.5 -8.5 (v) Total coliform: < 100 MPN/100 ml (desired nil) (vi) Resudual CI> 1 mg/litre Rest of the characterstic of the treated water shall be as per IS 3025 & IS 1622 Note:- Rate quoted shall also deemed to be included for:- (i) Cost of sterilized bottle as required (ii) To and fro Transportation charges for collection of sample (iii) Tests to be contracted through approved test lab or Govt approved Engg College.

M&L in replacement of pressure gauge to read in IS/BS unit type Range 0-7.5 KG/cm2 and LB/inc2 reading marked 0-2, 0-30 respectively including taking old one complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cleaning, scrapping out of surface and painting of all pipe lines dia upto 100mm with two coat of primer as approved colour with two coat of synthetic enameled paint complete all as specified and as approved.

M&L for cleaning, scrapping out side of vessel properly including painting with one coat zinc chrome primer & two coats of best quality synthetic enamel paint etc.

M&L for complete overhauling and repairing of multigrade Pressure sand filter/carbon activated filter including replacement of filter media with marble stone aggregate of size 1-5mm dia in diffrent and alternate layers not less than 100 height as per existing including other connected assessories as required at site of STP capacity of 250/300 KLD including testing complete all as specified and directed. Note: (1) Rate of filter membrane of any size, type, grading and quantity as per existing is deemed to be included in quoted rate. (2) Rate are deemed to be inclusive of lifting arrangement of vessel like hydra, T&P and labour required at site. (3) Repair of minor defect encounter during overhauling of sand filter media filter is deemed to be included in quoted rate. (4) Acid and other cleaning agent required for cleaning of inner surface of vessel is deemed to included in quoted rate. (5) Rate are deemed to be inclusive of uPVC fittings (any type, size and quantity) required at site for disconnecting and refixing vessels after overhauling. (6) Rate are deemed to inclusive of repair to vessel if any damage caused to vessel and fitting due to mishandling by labour during execution of work. (7) Contractor has to take sufficient safety measures for labour and user from toxic gas and material released from filters during over hauling. Deptt will not be responsible for any mishappening caused to labour or animal due toxic gases and material . Proper disposal of toxic material is responsibility of contractor. Note:- The rate is inclusive of replacement of filter media as per OEM under this item.
