1 Comprehensive repair and maintenance of EVAC type Sewage Treatment Plant, ORCA II A 500 (STP-I), 02 Nos., including 12 KL capacity sewage tank, macerator pump, discharge pump, transfer pump, sludge pump, backwash pump, probes, electrical control panel and all other connected equipment, components, accessories and installations of the STP, complete in all respects as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The STP shall be operated and maintained by one skilled operator/ technician being part of comprehensive maitenance throughout the period of the contract. 11 Per Month 0 Excess(+) Full Conversion INR

1.01 Note for Item No. 1 – Scope of Work: (i) The repair and maintenance of the STP shall be carried out by trained/skilled technicians in accordance with standard engineering practices, applicable Government standards/codes/norms and the recommendations of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The quoted rate shall be inclusive of all minor repairs, adjustments, servicing, testing and routine maintenance required to maintain the STP in proper working condition. (ii) The contractor shall ensure availability of seawater in the overhead tank provided near the STP, as required for proper operation of the plant. (iii) The contractor shall ensure that the inlet and outlet valves of the STP are kept in the required operational position and are opened/closed as per the approved operating procedure and OEM recommendations. (iv) The contractor shall provide insurance coverage, as applicable, for all technicians, operators, helpers and other personnel engaged in the work. (v) The contractor shall maintain and update a maintenance/operation register recording all inspections, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, repairs, replacement of components, servicing and other works carried out on the STP. The register shall be produced for inspection as and when directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 0 Excess(+) Full Conversion INR

1.02 (vi) The contractor shall strictly comply with all safety rules, regulations, statutory requirements and safe working practices applicable to the operation and maintenance of the EVAC STP. (vii) The contractor shall comply with all security rules, regulations and procedures of Naval Dockyard, Mumbai, applicable to the personnel, materials, tools and equipment deployed at site. (viii) A list of proposed makes/brands of spares, components and materials to be used for the repair and maintenance works shall be submitted by the contractor for approval of the Engineer-in-Charge immediately after issue of the work order. Only approved makes/brands shall be used. (ix) All tools, tackles, testing instruments, measuring instruments, plants, machinery and other equipment required for carrying out the repair, maintenance, operation and testing of the STP shall be arranged and provided by the contractor at no extra cost. 0 Excess(+) Full Conversion INR

1.03 (x) All Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operation, maintenance, inspection and servicing of the STP shall be followed as per the OEM recommendations. The contractor shall ensure strict compliance with all applicable DOs and DON'Ts, operating parameters, maintenance procedures and safety precautions prescribed by the OEM. (xi) The contractor shall be fully responsible for maintaining the serviceability and proper functioning of the EVAC type STP throughout the contract period. In the event of any lapse attributable to the contractor resulting in unserviceability, non-functioning or improper functioning of the STP, a penalty of ₹5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) per day shall be imposed for the period of such unserviceability/non-functioning, as determined by the Engineer-in-Charge, without prejudice to any other contractual provisions. (xii) The contractor shall ensure round-the-clock readiness of the STP during the required operating period, attend all breakdowns promptly and undertake necessary corrective action to restore the plant to normal operation at the earliest (xiii) Preventive maintenance shall be carried out at regular intervals as per the OEM maintenance schedule, including inspection, cleaning, lubrication, tightening, testing, calibration and servicing of pumps, motors, probes, valves, electrical panels and other associated equipment, wherever applicable. 0 Excess(+) Full Conversion INR

1.04 (xiv) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include all labour, supervision, operation, routine servicing, minor repairs, tools, tackles, consumables, testing and incidental works necessary for satisfactory operation and maintenance of the STP, unless specifically provided for as a separate BOQ item. (xv) Any major replacement of equipment/component or repair beyond the scope of minor repairs shall be carried out only with the prior approval of the Engineer-in-Charge, wherever such approval is required under the contract. (xvi) The contractor shall hand over the STP in a clean, safe, operational and fully serviceable condition upon completion of the contract period. 0 Excess(+) Full Conversion INR
