Strengthening to Sothiriyam Link road

Clearing the Scrub jungle including all labour charges for burryingng and burning etc.,Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes ,scrubs,saplings and trees of girths upto 300mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut

Picking 5 cm to 10 cm old metalled surface and sectioning - 1 sq.m

Earth work excavation in all classes of soils except hard rock requiring blasting depositing on bank with initial lead of 10M and lift of 2M including all labour charges and incidental charges such as shoring, strutting, providing coffer dams, bailing out of water as per 20A

Collection and supply of gritty gravel from appd quarry including cost and conveyance of all materials to site including all labour charges for spreading and compaction with power roller etc.complete, for SHOULDERS

Construction of Subgrate for 300mm depthby using picked material obtained from the exitsting surface by machanical means and then adding 50% of (subgrade using stone dust to improve CBR 7 to 9)

Construction of Granular sub base by providing well grated matrials (25mm to 4.75 mm IRC HBG metal @ 65% , 4.75 to 2.36mm IRC HBG metal @ 20% 2.36 mm below IRC HBG metal @ 15%) & Spreading in uniform layers with motor grater on preparted surface mixing by mix in place method with retovator at OMC and compacting with three wheel 80-100 kn capacity and finished in accordance with the requirements of the specification and thickness as per approved plans or as directed by the engineer (Mix - in - place method)

Providing and laying 75mm compacted thick WBM Grade II using 1 cum of 75mm to 22.4mm IRC HBG metal and 0.24 cum of Gravel for blindage for 10 Sqm. of 75mm compacted thick (the blindage material shall have PI value less than 6%) including cost and conveyance of all materials from approved quarry to work site and stacking to departmental gauge for pre-measurement as directed by the departmental officers including labour for spreading metal and gravel hand packing to camber and grade lines blinding with required quantity of gravel, forming edge bunds, watering with all leads for good water slurrying, rolling and consolidation by power roller and finishing as per MOST 404 (III revision) including hire and fuel charges for power roller and water sprinkler and all other tools and plants employed therefor and all incidental charges etc., complete for BOTTOM LAYER

Providing and laying Tack coat over WMM surface(treated with primer) using 2.5Kg of bitumen emulsion RS-1 for 10sqm for preparatory to another bituminous construction over it including cost of material, labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc.,

BITUMINOUS CONCRETE 25, 30/40 MM THICK USING cmp (Grade-II) Providing and laying Bituminious concrete to 40mm thick using 0.13cum of 19.00-9.50mm. 0.17cum of 9.5-2.36 and below with 50.3kgs of VG30/VG40 heating the bitumen and aggregates to required temperature and mixing them in required temperature in central hot mix plant 20-30 ton capacity, carrying the mix by tipper trucks to paver site, spreading the mix to uniform thickness of 40mm with mechanical paver to the specified grades and cross sections and consolidated by 8-10 tonnes vibratory/phenumatic roller to the required density etc., including labour for attending to paver to site etc.including hire charges and fuel charges foe 20-30t CMP with bitumen boiler, tipper trucks,paver finisher/9m paver finisher,vibratory/phenumatic roller and all other tools and plants required, including fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete as per specification using CMP as per clauses 507 of MORTH Part-5

Towards the charges for routline maintenance of the road work executed under NABARD including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with the earth from borrow pits, cleaning of wild seasonal growth on berms, destilting of side drains and CD works, white washing guard stones, painting of KM, HM stones, parapets, cutting of branches of trees, refixing displaced guard stones, caution boards, speed limit boards etc., with the periodicity for the above activities as prescribed in IRC-SP-20:2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for the constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost
