Improvement to Jhulachaka Check Dam at Kurubuli

Clearing grass and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 metres outside the periphery of the area as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in dam and embankment in specified section using approved earth excavated by mechanical means excluding all kinds of rocks from borrow areas including loading in to and transportation by mechanical or by manual means and unloading the earth within 1Km lead on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface with all leads, lifts & de-lifts, spreading and levelling the earth in layers not exceeding 22.5cm depth, removing the undesirable materials, breaking clods to a maximum 5 to 7 cm size including all costs to make ready for watering and compaction including construction, maintenance, watering, lighting of haul roads and borrow areas with all costs for approach road, diversion road, site illumination, mobilization, demobilization, T & P, royalty and other taxes etc. complete with all costs incidental to work as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge complete but excluding cost of watering and compaction etc. (measurement will be taken on the finished approved level section. 1/6th volume will deducted for settlement of embankment only).

Earth work in excavation of foundation in all kind of soil with all leads and lifts to proper slope and profile as per the requirement including rough dressing and breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm and laying in layers not exceeding 0.30M in depth to proper slope and profile with supply of all labour and tools and plants, all materials all taxes & supervision charges to complete the item of work as per design drawing and specification and as per the direction of the Engineer in charge.

Filling the foundation and plinth with sand with watering and ramming to the required condition including all cost, conveyance, royality and other taxes of all materials and including supplying of all labour and T&P required for the item etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Filling foundation and plinth with excavated earth including watering and ramming to all heights with all leads & lifts with all by mechanical means . T&P materials and labour cess as required for the work finished smooth as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing Cement Concrete M20 grade for RCC works on approved surface, shape and size using 20mm and downgraded crusher broken hard granite chips aggregates of approved quality quarried, free from weathered skin surface and any other deleterious material, using clean and sharp sand of approved grading and quality confirming to the design specifications including hoisting & lowering to all heights, watering & dewatering, laying the concrete in position to proper slope and level, compacting in layers with vibrators and finishing the exposed surface smooth, curing for required time, providing beads and grooves including hire charges of concrete mixer and vibrator with cost, conveyance, royalty and other taxes of all materials, ( excluding cost, carriage of M.S. rod and labour for cutting, bending, binding and fixing of M.S. rod) with all cost of tools and plant, cost and carriage of water etc, with supply of all labour and supervision charges including mobilisation & demobilisation of machineries, with all incidental charges required for the work complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, fitting and placing uncoated HYSD bar reinforcement as per approved design & specification including cost, conveyance and other taxes (binding wires cost included 18 to 20 gauge) etc. complete in all respect including all leads & lifts from bending yard to placement spot with supplying of labour and T&P and labour cess required for the work etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and removing rigid and smooth centering and shuttering for all C.C. and R.C.C. works including false work and dismentalling the same after casting and proper curing including cost, conveyance, royality and taxes of all materials required for the work with supply of all labour and T&P required for the work etc. complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Rough stone dry packing in afflux bundhs,aprons & revetments to all heights & thickness using hard granite broken stones of 30cm& above size of approved quality free from weathered skin including filling the interstices with small stones by wedging & hammering to proper slope and level with cost conveyance, royalty & other taxes of all materials including labour cess , all labour , T & P materials required for this items etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
