Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 Sqm (n exc 50 mm deep ) including raking over and the surface and edges to proper required gradient and camber including removing the unserviceable material to a distance not exc 50 metres away. complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Providing and laying Dense Bituminous Macadam on prepared surface with specified graded crushed aggregates with hot mix plant batch,premixed with bituminous binder,transporting the Hot Mix to work site,Laying with mechanical paver finished to required grade,level and alignment,rolling with smooth wheeled vibratory and tendon roller to achieve the desired compaction with 4.5% bitumen content VG 30 Grade complete in all respect and all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge

M&L preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked ,mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compresser to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming tack coat with paving bitumen primer @ 5 kg/10 sqm using paving bitumen VG 10 and laying semi dence Asphaltic bituminious concrete ( SDAC ) 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content VG 30 by weight of total mix with mechanical paver mixing in hot mix plant , rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne mechanical power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) Mix Design of bituminous SDAC will be got done from approved lab as specified.

Material and Labour for marking lines dashes, arrows, letters etc on road pavement and the like of any width with using thermoplastic compound white/yellow paint hot applied 2mm average thick including glass beads 250gms/sqm area with machine confirming to BS3262 and according to the specification laid down IRC & MOST (Ministry of Surface Transport) specification 20011(4th revision) complete all as specified. Note:- Marking shall be carried out with thermostat machine and make of Asian or equivalent

Repair to pot holes of any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scouring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat with paving bitumen @ 5Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binder @ 9.8Kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed to true surface (including supply of premix macadam binder and chipping to uniform surface) depth of pot holes exc 30mm complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) Material for premixed bituminous macadam shall be mixed in hot mixing plant.
