Manning & operation of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) FAB type of capcity 250 KLD at Old Cantt including its equipments (Sewage Pumps, hypodosing pumps, Air Blowers, control panels, Chlorine Plants, Sluice valves, motor mechanism, valves and related any accessories) and rectifying minor defects, if arise during maint period shift for continuous duration of 8 hours in a First shift from 0600 hours to 1400 hours (08 Hrs.) with (one skilled FGM + one helper) including Sunday & holidays & routine preventive maintenanace / checks complete all as specified & directed.

Note for Srl No.1, 2 & 3 :- 1. Day to day maintenance required for smooth functioning of sewage treatment plant. 2. Attendance register, log sheet recored for daily consumption of chemical and other routine records as instructed will be maintained by contractor. Quoted rates deemed to be included for mixing of chemical issued by department as per direction ofEngineer-in-Charge. 3. Routine repair including repairs of minor defects & minor parts / materials required for replacing due to defectness and fixing charges of material shall be deemed to be included in unit quoted rates. 4. The contractor shall employ one No. skilled operator minimum ITI qualified in requisite trade from the Government recognised institute & having minimum 2 year experience in the trade. 5. The contractor shuld provide all necessary stationery for records. 6. The operater employed by the contractor shall be capable of carrying out minor maintenance and rate quoted deemed to be include for cost of stationery, cotton waste, petroleum jelly for battery terminals. 7. In case contractor fails to employ the duty personnel in any of the shift he shall be liable to bear the recovery @ Rs. 1500/- each shift and No payment shall be made for that shift.

Note Contd...:- 08. All operator shall be well equipped with tool kit, hand gloves, safety gear all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 9. Contractor will provide dress / uniform, safety shoes, name plate, gumboot, hand gloves to operator and helper. 10. Power supply for operating the installation will be made available by the department free of cost. 11 The contractor will deploy one experience supervisor with adequate experience for supervision and taking instructions from AGE (E&M) regarding the activity of Schedule maintenance & issue of required store and the cost of deployment of supervisor in deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor against in above items. 12. The contractor shall provide torch light / Emergency light to the tradesmen in night duty. He will also provide the safety gear (uniform, shoe, belt, helmet etc) to all the men deputed on duty and they will wear the same on duty. 13. Contractor will ensure that life insurance certificate of operator / helper & supervisor against any mishappening will be produced before commence of work to the Engineer-in-Charge. In case of any death of the operator / helper, contractor will solely be responsible and any claim what so ever on this account shall not be admissible by MES.

Note Contd...:- 14. Please ensure that all trade men including helper engaged in subject work area coverred in EPF Scheme, proper documents should mintain in this regard and submit alongwith each payment. 15. The expense incurred due to insurance and EPF Scheme for the staff deployed by the contractor for manning & operation shall also be deemed included in the quoted rates of BoQ. Noting extra shall be admmisible in this account. 16. Coutractors quoted rate shall deemed to include removal of dried sludge and its disposel outside MD land during the M&O period as per directed by Engineer-in-Charge. POL will be issued from store yard of AGE EM Old Cantt Allahabad, under Schedule 'B' free for use same shall be collected by contractor its own arrangement for record purposes PRRB shall be maintained.
