Disconnecting & dewatering of PVC/RCC overhead tanks, scrubbing the inner surfaces removing all scales, dirt etc. from mouth of circulating pipes, washing the tanks with fresh water and disinfecting the same by flushing with liquid chlorine or any other equivalent chemical, reconnecting & refixing in position after cleaning for tank capacity not exceeding 500 litre each including marking the date of cleaning with white paint and stencil complete all as specified & directed. Note :- Cleaning shall be done through wash out pipe by making suitable arrangement to the outlet pipe such as cutting of the pipe providing short piece of pipe fitting and union coupling etc. where the wash out pipe are not existing. The dirt etc shall not be allowed to enter the water supply system.

Notes: (i) The water proofing treatment shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or their authorised applicators duly approved by GE in writing. (ii) Security deposit as a guarantee against Water proofing treatment shall be retained in final bill and shall be released after 10 years. However contractor may deposit the FDR of same amount in favour of GE. If contractor fail to rectify the defect pointed out during this period in writing, the defect shall be got rectified at contractor' risk and cost and the payment shall be made from the amount kept reserved or by encashing the FDR deposited by the contractor as guarantee. (iii) The amount of security deposit shall be calculated as per the scales laid down for calculating Earnest Money Deposit enhanced by 25% on the total amount of Water proofing treatment work (BOQ item No 140.00 to 144.00). The contractor's quoted rates for these items shall deemed to be inclusive of this aspect.

M&L Plain Cement Concrete(PCC) 1:2:4, type B-0, using 12.5mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates over roof slab as in padding in slope 1:30 minimum complete all as specified & directed. Note: The consolidate thickness of padding shall be 65mm or less.
