Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 mtr, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 mtr .

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations filling in mass concrete all as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Returning, filling in and including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm all as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Removing excavated material (soils) exc 250 mtr but not exc 500 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for approved good earth filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers not exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering all as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note : Earth obtained from excavation shall be used.

M&L for Hardcore of guage exc 63mm but not exc. 100 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rolled/rammed to a true surface complete all as directed by Enginer in Charge.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in floor 100 mm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Treating the bottom and sides of excavation at the rate of 5 litres of ATT emulsion per square metre of surface area all as directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for Treating the backfill in contact with foundation at the rate of 7.5 litres of ATT emulsion per square metre of vertical surface all as directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for treating the top surface of filled earth at the rate of 5 litres of ATT emulsion per square metre of surface all as directed by Engineer in Charge.
