Excavation with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting by mechanical means lead up to 3 km to the embankment locations/ disposal areas wherever filling is needed within the airport premises with all lifts as per direction of Engineer in charge. a) All kinds of soil
Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and inequalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m. All kinds of soil
Consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub grade as per direction of Engineer-In-charge.
Construction of subgrade embankment with available good earth including spreading the earth, dressing levelling providing camber grading with motor grader and consolidation with vibratory roller 8-10 tonne capacity to required slope and compacted in layers to meet requirement of more than 98% of MDD "Maximum Modified Standard Protractor density" as per MORTH specification and each compacted layer shall not be more than 200 mm thick making good the undulation etc. as per technical specification for all leads and Lifts complete as per direction of Engineer-in charge. Agency has to test 03 (three) soil samples from approved borrow pits/ excavated earth for Gotechnical parametres of soil through AAI Approved Lab / Govt Lab. Note: 1-Payment shall be made only for compacted quantity by level measurements. 2- Quoted Rates shall be inclusive of all above operations including testing charges of Geotechnical parametres of soil, water charges, machineries etc but excluding cost of earth
Excavation with hydraulic excavator with breaker arrangement and 0.9 cum bucket capacity including breaking, cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location/ disposal areas wherever filling is needed with all lifts and lead upto 3000m as per MORTH specification and as per direction of Engineer in charge a) Hard rock (blasting prohibited)
Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete. Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 1.10 times of the specified minimum cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement.
