SPECIAL REPAIR FOR INSTALLATION OF BER DG SET AND SUMMER/WINTER APPLIANCES ALONGWITH REPAIR TO EXISTING DG SET AT AF STN LEH

Fixing only water heater storage type, electric, capacity 50 litre including drilling in the wall with suitable drill bit, grouting metal fastener in the wall, fixing bolts of suitable size to the fastener, installing the geyser on the wall, making inlet and outlet connection with PVC connection pipes of superior quality, and testing the flow of hot water, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Water heater storage type shall be issued under Sch 'B', 'free for fixing'. (ii) Cost of all necessary fasteners, bolts, washers, inlet and outlet PVC connections (PTMT type with brass nuts suitable for HOT & COLD water 15mm dia, 45mm long) shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) Water heater storage type shall be installed at various loactions within the Air Force Station Leh.

All as per srl item No. 1 here-in-before but capacity 10 litre, complete all as specifed and directed.

Taking down old unserviceable solar water system including depositing in MES store yard and fixing (installation, commissioning and testing ) only of 'SOLAR WATER SYSTEM' (Evacuated Tube Collector type) based on direct transferring of heat of capacity 200 LPD including making suitable inlet and outlet water connection, electric connection with 2.5 sqmm 3 core PVC insulated FRLS copper conductor cable (upto 25mm length) in rigid PVC conduit of appropriate size laid in ground or fixed in wall with steel clamps, including excavation and grouting the collector stand in ground with PCC type C-1 (1:3:6) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate and making the system functional, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Solar water system shall be issued under Sch 'B', free for fixing. (ii) Solar water system shall be installed at various location within the Air Force Station Leh.

Supply and fix, in replcement, rotational moulded polyethylene (cylindrical vertical) with closed top, heavy duty, PEF-PUF insulated 75mm thick water storage tank of capacity 500 litre ideally suitable for extrem temperature (-)30 to (+) 35 degree celsius and outer FRP layer, ISI marked, for storage of cold water for solar water system including hoisting, making connections to inlet and outlet of the tank complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement on wall/ground hot water GI pipe of 15 mm bore medimum grade duly insulated with PUF slab 30 mm thick with and including applying bituminuous compound & GI cladding with 26 Gauge GI sheet complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement , steel water tubes, 20mm dia bore, medium grade, galvanized, with all standard fittings and fixed complete to walls, ceiling or laid in floors, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement , stop valves, of size 15 mm cast copper alloy, screwed down, high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for 15mm dia bore iron pipe or for unions, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Srl item No 7.00 here-in-before but of size 20 mm.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes), each not exceeding 0.5 Cum and getting out in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, Plain Cement Concrete (1:1.5:3) type A-2 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling structural steel work in staging complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix rolled mild steel in staging for water tanks and the like including caps, bases, splices etc. built up from two or more beam or channel sections or angles with plates, including all lattice bars, stiffeners, gusset plates, etc Fe 410-W (Gde-E-250) quality -A. complete all as specified & directed.

Material and labour, preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10cm width or girth, applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over and including one coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of Low Tension (LT) XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty, electric power cable, cross sectional area 400Sqmm 3.5 core aluminum conductor 1100volts grade under ground cable including both side connection with aluminium cable lugs etc, laid in trenches, along poles or passing through pipes / ducts or laid under floor or through walls etc, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning and PCC cable cover for protection of cable shall be measured and paid separately.

Excavation in trenches in hard/dense soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep for laying of cables and foundation of poles etc. and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches (soil), including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance exceeding 50 metre but not exceeding 100metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, sand cushioning with a layer of dry river sand, 80mm thick before laying of cable and 150mm thick (punned down to 100mm thick) after laying of cables, in trenches/ducts, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Punned down thickness (overall 18cm), shall be considered for measurement and payment.

Supplying and laying, factory made unreinforced precast concrete cable cover LV type-1, flat, of size 250x150x40mm, laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable for protection, length perpendicular to the direction of cable adjacent to each other, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate, for foundation of poles/ ducts, etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, pre-cast cement concrete block masonry with soild blocks type C1, 1:3:6 (20mm graded stone aggregate), exc 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:4 for constructing cable duct complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, rendering 15mm thick plaster on fair faces of pre cast concrete block masonry surfaces in CM (1:4) and finished fair & even without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix rolled mild steel in plates (chequered) 5 mm thick, cut to required shape and size including welding for cable duct cover at power Houses, Fe-410-W (Gde E-250) quality A complete all as specified & directed.

Material and labour, earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically (depth of pit not less than 2.25m below normal ground level), with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt, electrode connections using galvanized iron strip of size 32mmx6mm thick by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts & GI washers (by welding of GI strip to earth electrode to the full length of earth plate), connected to main switch board or main control board or test point, protected by galvanized iron pipe light grade 40mm dia bore, and watering pipe 20mm dia bore GI light grade with funnel & wire mesh including all necessary excavation & earth work, PCC chamber in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 & RCC cover, all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009), testing on completion, including providing one test point made out of mild steel plate of size 75x75x6mm fixed to wall, complete all as specified and directed. Note(s) :- (i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM not less than 4Kg/Sqm. (ii) PCC chamber shall be constructed 500 mm away from the edge of earth pit. (iii) Rate shall include GI strip and protection pipe of length 7.5m, excess beyond 7.5m length required at site shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Earth resistance should be less than 3Ohm. In case the test results are not found below 3Ohm, complete earthing will be redone without any extra cost to Govt.

Dismantling/opening of Diesel Generator set of capacity 200 KVA of Make Greaves, Model No TBD3V6 , water cooled, decoupling of alternator from the engine and repair/servicing of engine for complete overhauling including taking out radiator/fuel pump, lube oil pump, water pump, turbo charger etc and commissioning and testing of the same after reassembling of engine by refixing the spare parts after repairs or replacement of unserviceable/defective parts all as specified and directed and specified by Engr-in-charge. Location: 114 HU Power House and Technical power house. Note : - (i). The quoted rate shall be deemed to include the cost of taking out / dismantling of unserviceable/defective parts and fixing new/serviceable parts (of the same make as of DG Set i.e. Greaves or as recommended by Greaves) but these new parts shall be measured and paid for separately in relevant items here-in-after as 'supply only'. (ii) All the repair / servicing work shall be carried out by the qualified mechanics by the manufacturer of the DG set, as approved by GE.

Repairing , overhauling and calibration of FIP including replacement of worn out parts like element, delivery valve, plunger, bearings , governor kit, bushes etc , complete all as specified and directed.

Grinding and polishing of crank shaft and making smooth for next higher size of bearing complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour servicing and overhauling of self starter of 200 KVA DG set including replacement of unserviceable pinion, carbon brush set with holder, solenoid assy, armature winding, varnishing of coil and reassembling and fitted with the engine including testing complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour servicing and overhauling of alternator assy of 200 KVA DG set including replacement of unserviceable parts such as carbon brush, armature winding, varnishing of coil and reassembling and fitted with the engine including testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and filling lubricant oil, of suitable viscosity (as directed by engineer-in-charge), in DG set of capacity 200 KVA installed at 114 HU POWER HOUSE AND TECHNICAL POWER HOUSE, in situ at site including cleaning the sump complete all as specified and directed.

Note : Schedule of credit for Rs. 17,466.00 (Rupees seventeen thousands four hundred sixty six only) to be deducted on acceptance of bid.
