Dismantling and clearing away carefully and stacking materials useful for reuse of damaged Mangalore tile roofing including removal of pan tiles , wooden reeper with T.W. planks and stocking of the useful materials etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and fixing in position of shade net (Green net) using vertical protection for under construction / High rise building. The net standard size is 3mx50m & 5mx 50 mt. The rate is inclusive of cost of Agro shade net, binding wires or cable tie, labour charges for fixing in position neatly etc complete complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing two legged pipe scaffolding using 40mmfirst class M.S pipe including fixing, cross bracing, coupling, EJP couplers for cross bracing and base plates including erection of scaffolding conveyance charges, loading and unloading charges and removing after completion of the work and taking away from the site etc., as directed by the departmental officers.

Racking out the brick joints without damaging the brick masonry and cleaning surface with coir brush and water after removing the vegetation roots completely using special chemical like ferula asafoetida wherever necessary etc., complete complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officer. the rate includes labour charges for imported specially skilled labours .

Clean removal of saline action over the stone pillars, brick wall etc., will paper pulp treatment by using floating paper, deionizer water, plastic bucket,coir, brush etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Replastering the Walls and ceiling with Lime mortar 1:1.5 (one Lime and one and half sand), 30mm thick including erection and dismantling of scaffolding and curing etc complete complying with standard specifications as directed by the departmental officers. The rate includes labour charges for imported specially skilled labours.

Pointing, grouting and filleting the brick joint of wall and arches with lime mortar 1:2 (one of lime and two of sand) using Pollachi lime in all floors etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Replastering ( base plastering) the brick wall, pillars and arches, etc., with lime mortar 1:2 ( one of lime and two of sand) to a thickness of 30 mm laid in two layers of 15mm thick using Pollachi lime in all floors etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Strengthening the existing walls by providing grouting by formation of two holes of size 1" at required intervals - depth of 300mm for an area of 1 sq.m and depending upon the site conditions, injecting lime slurry consisting of lime mortar 1:2 (one lime and two of sand) using Pollachi lime in all floors added with grouting admixture by 2% weight of lime by using required equipment and the rate includes cost of all materials, labour charges etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Carefully removing and scooping out the eroded and worn out bricks over walls, arches and pillars etc, refixing and mending with similar bricks in lime mortar 1:2 (one of lime and two of sand) etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Exposed brick work Pointing with Lime flush pointing in stone and brick with 1:1.5 lime mix after making surface to be pointed free from dust and durt the pointing should be commpacted well making sure that the brick surface in elevation is clean from mortar marks etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Painting two coats of newly plastered wall surface with ready mixed plastic emulsion paint of first class quality and of approved colour over a priming coat including thorough scrapping, clean removal of dirt, and including necessary plaster of paris putty, wherever required etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Washing the exposed brickwork of layer of cement paint using fluoric acid solution in dilutions as specified. The area should be first be washed with clean potable water, then acid solution using soft wire brushes to prevent damaged to the surface, and finally all traces of acid removed with clean potable water, workers to be protected from exposure with masks, gloves. etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Replacing damaged exposed bricks of the surface of the exterior wall with first class wire cut bricks of same size in lime mortar 1:2 including removing the original brick and cleaning the pocket thoroughly before replacing. The interior of the wall should be well watered before rebuilding the wall. Payment will be made against number of bricks consumed. Rates to include wastage. Half and three quarter brick bats will be counted as full bricks. Interior portions of the same area if need to be repaired may be done with table moulded bricks which will be paid for as per the relevant item etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Grouting and stitching the wide cracks at roof (Madras Terrace Roof ) using lime mortar 1:2 with pot pieces for filling up the cracks and the voids, crevices and gap etc.shall be completely sealed with necessary grouting pump. This pressure pump is to be used after cleaning the cracks, washing etc., and then the cracks are grouted with lime mortar 1:2 and it is allowed to be cured till final setting of lime mortar before taking up further leak proof treatment work.

Brick Jelly Lime Concrete 1:2:5 using 20mm brick jelly in Lime Mortar 1:2 Cum for madras terrace roofing etc., Complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Finishing the top of roof with one course of machine pressed tiles of size 230mm x 230mm x 20mm of approved quality set in Cement Mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three Sand) 12mm thick mixed with water proofing compound conforming to ISS at 2% by weight of cement used and the joints pointed neatly to full depth of tiles with the same cement mortar mixed with red oxide and water proofing compound including curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Providing water membarane treatement to the leaky terrace using Synthetic Butadine Rubber sheet (SBR) including hacking the surfaces and roughening the old RCC roof surface with wire brushes and tools wherever necessary and theSynthetic Butadine Rubber sheet (SBR) has been laying before weathering course brick jelly concrete and with using necessary SBR adhesive to carefuly laying with proper joints ( the joints over lap to be not more than over lap 15cm to 20cm ) etc, including labour for laying the sheets etc complete including curing and finishing neatly complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and fixing with new plain glass panes of 4mm thick including fixing in position with teak wood beading alround the glass panes with nail etc.,complete complying with std. specification and as directed by the departmental officers etc., complete.

Teakwood wrought & putup for joist, beam, rafters and purlins,etc., which are in full length new member placed for supporting the Madras Terrace roof/ Mangalore tiles roof or any other area in all floor as directed by the departmental officers by using well seasoned superior quality and approved variety of teakwood for heritage building work including fixing of iron holdfasts incase of doors, windows and ventilators etc.,and excluding cost of holdfasts and making necessary size holes in the masonry to receive the ends of wooden joists, beams, etc., all fixtures and fastenings etc., complete.

Item to include all moulding and chamber to be made as per original design indicated by the Engineer In Charge. (The rate includes the cost of teakwood, labour charges for wrought and putup to the existing clue/design, fixing in position to true alignment and gradient wherever necessary. Complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers (sample of teakwood to be shown to the Executive Engineer concerned for approval before use on work). Renewing and fixing in position of best and approved quality of mangalore ridge tiles including cost of tiles and fixing the tiles in position etc.,complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Supplying and fixing best quality of Bison cement bonded particle Board 10mm thick including labour charges for fixing the board including painting charges etc. complete complying with standard specification.

Renewing and fixing eaves board of size 25cm x 2cm using teakwood of best quality as per existing style inluding cost of teakwood, labour wrought and putup, labour charges for fixing in position etc.complete complying with standard specification

Removing the existing vegetation growth in the Building by way of uprooting the plants manually and then drilling with power driller up to the root depth of plants obtain a clean and neat drill so as to continuously inspect and remove left over roots of vegetation growths and to inject marakkolli pesticides into the holes so as to prevent further growth of vegetation in the future to safeguard the country old heritage building etc. The cost including the cost of pesticides used, hire charges of injecting machine for injecting chemicals, cost of tools and all labour charges, etc., complete and complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and fixing cuddapah stone sunshade arrangements using 40mm thick cuddapah slab inserted to existing wall surface and pointing the stone slab etc. The sunshade has to be proper support arrangements like iron hook etc. The rate is inclusive cost of cuddapah slab, necessary dismantling the existing wall and redoing the same using necessary jointing materials, labour charges for fixing and necessary supporting arrangements of cuddapah sunshade etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Construction of mortar pit of size 0.90x0.45m with necessary earth work excavation of sand filling 15cm thick, PCC 1:5:10, 8cm thick brick partition wall 11.50cm thick to a height of 60cm with plastering 1:5, 12mm thick on both sides etc ., complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Labour charges for supplying and fixing of hoisting machine by hire basis for lifting of all materials from ground to terrace and shifting of damaged unused materials from terrace to ground floor with necessary rope, hoisting platform, motor, controller as per site requirement days etc., the rate is inclusive of hire charges for operating the machine and daily Bata and conveyance charges and dismantling and removing the same after completion of work etc complete of work etc complete with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Renewing the existing damanged PVC water tank with new sintex tank of 5000 litres capacity approved quality and make including conveyance charges and labour charges for fixing the same in its position etc, complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Paving the floor with fine polished cuddapah stone slab of 38 / 40mm thick laid over Cement Mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three Sand) 20mm thick over the existing bed of Cement Concrete 1:5:10, (One Cement, Five Sand and Ten aggregate) and pointing the joints to full depth of slabs with same mortar mixed with black oxide and the top surface rendered smooth, curing, etc., The cuddapah stone slabs and other materials to be used shall be got approved by the Executive Engineer concerned before use on work, etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Renewing and Refixing in position of new mild steel grills for gates, doors, ventilators and windows using M.S flats and square rod etc. The rate is inclusive cost of all materials, labour for fixing, including one coat of primer etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Renewing and fixing fully glazed shutters for windows openable type by using well seasoned teakwood of superior quality as per the original design and pattern instructed by the Engineer In Charge. The window shutter is made of vertical styles of size 80mm x 30mm. Both top and bottom rail is of size 80mm x 30mm. The window shutter panels is covered with 4mm thick plain glass which is fixed with teakwood reepers scantling of size 35mm x 30mm on both sides and the glass panel is divided into 6 parts. Item to also include making all the mouldings and design of the panels as in the existing evidence. Item to include complete finishing of the shutters as directed by the departmental officers.(The rate inclusive of cost of all teakwood materials, labour wrought and putup of door shutters, cost of all furniture fittings, cost of 4mm thick plain glass, labour charges for fixing the shutters in position etc., complete complying with standard specifications)

Supplying and fixing of teakwood louvered panelled door shutter two leaves of door opening with bottom closed using 2/3 louvered at top + 1/3 panelled at bottom of the door shutter using teakwood styles and rails of thickness of 0.05 m alround and centre and the panels should be covered with 50mm thick teakwood planks and louvered planks of size 150mmx20mm thick. all are t o be done in the existing clues the shutter should be fixed in position with necessary furniture fittings such as 6 nos of Al buttt hinges 6" long, 4 - nos of Al tower bolt 3", Al aldrop 10", screws, nails including painting with two coats of S.E.P over a one coat of primers as directed etc. complete .

Renewing and fixing in position of well seasoned superior quality of teakwood planks of size 300mm x20mm to a required length including fixing the planks in the ceiling of Mangalore tiled roofing or wherever necessary with screws, nails, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.(The rate includes the cost of teakwood planks, wrought and putup of teakwood planks, fixing the teakwood planks in position and cost of all nails, screws, etc.,)

Revarnishing old wood work with two coats of best melamine varnish of approved quality and brand including preparation of surface etc. The rate is incluisve of cost of all materials, labour charges and finishing neatly etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers etc. complete.

Supplying and fixing of best quality and approved variety of ISMB girder of required size and section of make TATA or equivalent of various span fixing below the madras terrace roof to support the roof in the places wherever necessary as directed by the departmental officers and fixed ISMB- grider ‘I’ Section over the bed blocks in the wall including cost of dismantling the brick work wherever necessary for fixing the ‘I’ Section and redoing the same and also the cost of ‘I’ Section labour charges hire charges for welding machineries, hoist for lifting and hire charges for hydraulic manuals Jacky and other allied tools etc., complete including the cost of porting of ISMB- grider ‘I’ section etc and one coat of red oxide primer etc., complete. The I beam has to be supported on brick wall using appropriate blocks so as to support the madras terrace roofing in all the floors etc., complete complying with standard specifications.(The make and brand of the ISMB girder I section should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works).

Repainting the old iron work surface with two coats in all floors with best synthetic enamel paint of approved quality colour and brand to be approved by Executive Engineer before use on work, including removal of old paint from iron surface with sand paper, scrapping, preparation of surface, cost of brushes, high scaffolding charges and neat finishing complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Painting new iron works such as steel doors, windows, ventilators, window bars, balustrades etc., with two coats of best approved first quality and colour of synthetic enamel paint over the existing red oxide priming coat in all floors excluding cost of priming coat etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make, quality and colour of paint should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works.)

Repainting the old wood work two coats in all floors with best Synthetic enamel paint of approved quality, colour and brand including thorugh scrapping, sand papering and preparation of surface including cost of bruses, high scaffolding charges neat finishing etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers at site of work.

Clearing the heavy jungles and leveling the site using JCB including hire charges for Fuel, Labour etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Departmental Officer.

Collecting the scattered debris from the campus and conveying away the same to outside by lorry to a lead of 3km including loading and unloading charges and dumping in low places and leveling etc.

Supplying and laying Rubber moulded Hydralic pressed plain / colour cement concrete paver block 63mm thick using in Cement concrete 1:1/2:3 (one cement one and half of sand and three of granite chips) of size 6mm to 10mm etc complete The rate is inclusive of labour charges for laying compacting using earth rammers, conveyance charges etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing temporary barricading arrangements alround the the site using PPGI sheet of 0.47mmthick shall be fixed in the frame for made out of required height using 50mmx50mm x2.60mm square MS tubes vertical strut placed and Horizental 32mmx32mmx2.60mm thick M.S. tubes at 1.20m interval with necessary scews and welding including cost of conveyance of all required materials to work site, erecting work, cost of J- bolts washers, cement concrete bed 45cmx45cmx90cm in Plain Cement concrete 1:2:4 and including labour charges etc complete., The barricading arranagements are made to prevent the entry of public into the site is very dangerous due to the fallen roof with necessary door arrangements for staffs and labour etc.,complete and as directed by the departmental officers. [The barricade will remain in the same location till the completion of the project and No additional charges shall be paid for the extended period of contract]
