Attending day to day Street light complaints (Street lights fitted on poles/buildings at height up to 12 mtr from ground level) including repair/replacement of unserviceable nuts, bolts, clamps etc and repair/ replacement of unserviceable onnected accessories like cables, wires, MCB/ MCCB's, earthing, earthing strip, earth wire, Service Pillar (Feeder Pillar) bus bars, HRC fuses, rewirable fuses, contactor, timers, connector, wires, glands, thimbles etc by deploying adequate resources for attending and rectifying the defects of street lights and monitoring system complete all specified and directed.

Note: (a) Stores required for repair shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of sch.

(b) Replacement of worn out cables/wires etc. including excavation and cost of Tower wagon, cable fault locator equipment and all required tools, ladders, and all other incidental operations required for execution of maintenance work are included in the quoted rate for smooth operation.

(c) Adequate resources shall be deployed by the contractor for attending and rectifying the complain being an essential deptt.

(d) All the T&P items like eight feet height aluminium folding ladder with self supported, drill machine with bits of any size shall be arranged by the contractor at no extra cost at the time of commencement of work other wise Rs 500/day shall be recovered from the contractor. Tool Bags required for attending the complaint shall be issued by contractor to the tradesman.

(e) All the stationery i.e complaint register, job card dockets and other connected register related to the work shall be arranged and to be maintained by the contractor.

(f) Contractor shall be panelised @ Rs. 400/- per complaint/ day, if he fails to attend and rectified the complaint within 8 hours including Sunday/Saturday/Holiday on direction by verbally/telephonically.

(g) For any nature of complaint related to electric appliances other than complaint maintained in above description are also required to be done by the person employed as directed by the concern JE E/M other wise penalty @ of Rs 200/complaint shall be recovered.

(h) Any minor stores required for rectification of electric complaints other than item mentions in CA as provided by the department will also required to be fixed by the persons employed under subject CA without any extra cost .

(j) Cost of all consumable items like cotton waste, PVC insulation tape, nut bolts, screws shall deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 mtr deep in any type of soil (soft/loose soil) for foundation and getting out and levelling of bottom surface to required level complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming soils in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing the excavated materials not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting level complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and spread fine river washed dry sand for cable cushioning in trenches, under and above of the cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay in trenches unreinforced pre-cast cement concrete cable cover LV, type 2, flat size 250 mm x 150 mm x40 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Boring of holes under road/pavement/hard standing or any other situation by manual mean for passing GI pipe 50mm bore grade and making good both the ends all as specified and directed at site. Note:- GI pipe shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this Sch.

Cutting of existing road/hard standing for laying cables/pipe including making good the disturbed surface to match with the adjoining surfaces with PCC 1:3:6 type C2 complete all as specified.

Supply, laying and jointing, in trenches / passing through pipes/ fixing on poles/fixing on wall with saddles in replacement LT under ground cable XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 10 Sqmm, 2 core including cable connecting lugs, glands, jointing fixing materials after taking out old unserviceable cables complete all as specified and as directed.

Note:- (i) Fans shall be issued from cab sectt store yard and will be taken by the contractor to civil work shop for repair and to bring back repaired fans to cab sectt at his own arrangement as required.
