BOQ (GRASS CUTTING AROUND NORTH OF RUNWAY, LOOPS AND DRAIN CLEANING, CULVERT CLEANING, DRAIN REPAIR AROUND MAIN RUNWAY AND BISON LOOP IN TECH AREA AT AF STN SURATGARH.)

Removal of soil/muddy soil/ grass/vegetation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator or tractor) / manual means in drains (not exc. 1.5 m in depth), including dressing of sides and cleaning of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 250m from drain, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Rough excavation not exc. 1.50 metre deep for cleaning existing drains and bed of culverts over the drain including cutting of small bushes, small tree girth not exc 30 cm, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of concertina coil dia 915mm when stretched laid in drain before cleaning and relaying the same after drain cleaning including nailing/grouting with cement and securing etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Spreading and levelling by cutting & filling for all type of soils avg 45cm deep around Runway/PTT etc using tractor, leveler,cultivator, harrow & tillers (min of 3- Rounds/Sqm) including :- (i) Clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings,shrubs, bushwood, undergrowth, roots, and removing rubbish to a distance exc. 1 km but not exc. 5 km complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- charge. (ii) If required, supply and use approved soil for forming embankments/proper gradual sloping ground around ,spreading in layers not exc. 15 cm thick. (iii) Rolling the ground include for watering as necessary and consolidating to the required level, gradient or camber (using auto leveler) using 8 tonne roller with sufficient water sprinkling to achieve proctor density upto 95%. Note: Unit rate quoted includes all T&P comprising 8 tonne rollers, water sprinkler, auto leveler, tractor etc, crew, approved sand, fuel and tools, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

De-watering of septic tanks/soakage wells and sewage line/flood sump/Drain by pumping with trolley mounted pump sets including carrying the waste water in closed containers and unloading it out side the MoD land at location shown by Engr-in-Charge at a distance not exc 5 km from the starting point including removing the existing manholes cover and replacing the same, septic tanks/ soakage wells of any size/depth, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge

Demolition of brick work or stone boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches , pillars etc & removing debries out of MoD land, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for brick work using sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 mtr mean radius built in CM 1:4, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-charge

M&L for brickwork with sub class 'B' bricks , straight or curved on plan not exc 6m mean raidus (except brick) built in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Servicable bricks retrieved from item no 9 shall be used after proper cleaning and washing of old bricks.

Taking down of cement plaster/rough cast plaster on brick or stone wall including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water and removal of rubbish in low lying area, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick/concrete including finishing the surface even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old surfaces of walls/ chajjas/ cills including brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescence salts and trading oil and greasy spots etc and washing with water and applying two coats of exterior acrylic emulsion paint, (in camouflage pattern using number of colours), complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of walls/ chajjas/ cills and applying two coats of exterior acrylic emulsion paint, (in camouflage pattern using number of colours), complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of bricks (laid flat or on edge) or brick tiles in floors, channels, kerbs, aprons, etc. (each layer), laid dry or laid dry and pointed, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bricks laid on edge, using sub class ‘B’ bricks old size (except brick), grouted in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 as in flooring laid to herring-bone pattern or diagonally including necessary surface dressing in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Servicable bricks retrieved from item no 15 shall be used after proper cleaning and washing of old bricks.

Demolition of cement concrete (below or above ground level) ground floors and paving of any description and in any position and removal of rubbish in low lying area, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in drains, surface channels, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms, moulds mitre/stopped ends, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm grade aggregate as in copings, cills and other similar works, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-charge.

Cutting wild growth i.e. grass, shurbs, bushes etc upto 150mm from ground level by using tractor with jungle jim including removing outside of runway field area, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Tenderer shall provide machine, bush cutter ,T&P & diesel/petrol and shall be included in quoted rate. (ii) Work shall be carried during non flying hours specially adjacent to runway, PTT & shoulder of runway & PTT etc. (iii) The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all the above provisions and nothing extra shall be admissible. (iv) Sufficient Labours are to be deployed by the contractor on daily basis for smooth functioning of Air field operation as and when required to collect the grass/vegetation cut and spreaded over runway/taxi tracks and disposal of the same outside MOD land. The rate of labours for deployment daily and removal of grass outside MOD land are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted and nothing extra shall be admissible on this ground from the Govt. (v) In case grass or vegetation not removed, penalty @ Rs. 500.00 per day shall be levy on contractor.

Supply and stacking of 20mm to 63mm graded crushed stone aggregate, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Stacking of aggregate in the shape of trapezoidal/ square/rectangular.

Supply and stacking of 40mm to 63mm graded crushed stone aggregate, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Stacking of aggregate in the shape of trapezoidal /square/rectangular.

Supply and stacking of 63mm to 90mm graded crushed stone aggregate, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Stacking of aggregate in the shape of trapezoidal /square/rectangular.

Supply and stacking of 90mm to 150mm graded crushed stone aggregate, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Stacking of aggregate in the shape of trapezoidal /square/rectangular.

Supply only 400 micron polythene film (transparent) as per IS-2508 : 2016, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Contract Amount shall be derived after affecting the amount of Schedule of Credit in General Summary on serial page No 17 of tender documents.
