Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soil) to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up and down old/unservicable GI tubing with fittings of following size complete all as specified and directed. (Earth work will be measured and paid under respective items of sch 'A').

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cmX60cm X6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth plate not less than 2.25 mtr deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below the normal ground level connected to galvanized earth lead wire of 4.0mm dia by means of nuts bolts, washers, check nuts of iron or steel including PCC pits and RCC cover in PCC 1:2:4 (type B-1) and necessary earth work in any type of soil medium grade GI watering pipe 20 mm dia with funnel and wire mesh and 15mm bore GI pipe light grade protection pipe upto test point etc including excavation and charcoal, common salt surrounded with 15cm all around the plate all as specified and shown in EP-3 of SSR Part-I. all specified Notes:- 1. Earth lead & protection pipes length upto & including 7.50 metre is deemed included in the unit rate quoted. 2. Earth filling shall be done by vegitable soil. 3. Soil shall be free from stone, boulders, aggregate, gravels etc. 4. On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below the normal ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.50 mtr below the normal ground level and connected to GI strips 32 x 6 mm by means of nut, bolt & washer and protected by 40mm dia GI pipe light grade and watering pipe of 20mm dia GI pipes light grade and connected to earth test point including necessary excavation, earth work, PCC chamber (1:3:6) type C-1 and 40 mm thick RCC pit cover in RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 6 mm dia MS round bars @ 150 mm C/C both ways all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 of SSR Part-I all as specified and directed. Notes:- 1. Earth lead & protection pipes length upto & including 7.50 metre is deemed included in the unit rate quoted. 2. Earth filling shall be done by vegitable soil. 3. M&L for cutting existing GI/CI Main pipe line of any size making new connection for GI pipe including short pieces , inserting tees, bends ,sockets, union etc with existing water line all as specified by Engr-in-charges.

S&F in replacement submersible cable 16 Sqmm copper 3 core all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Ductile Iron fittings such as bends (any type, radius & angle), Tapers any type, (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc), Tee pieces single branch, 'Y' Junction, double branch, cross (all socket or socket & spigot) collars, caps & plugs etc as per site requirement confirming to IS-9523 suitable for spigot and socket end tyton joints DI pressure pipe including joints and jointing material, etc complete all as specified and directed.

Notes : The Schedule of Credit amount shall be deducted from the total of this schedule (BoQ) to arrive at Contract Sum.
