Maintenance of Vertical Garden, plant, drip irrigation system, MS Frame and changing of dried plants etc., and replacing the pots with well grown healthy ones transported from nursery and maintaining the same in garden area by watering at regular intervals, cutting and trimming plants, and the unwanted growth of grasses as and when required including removing weeds, collecting the cut plants fallen leaves of trees and disposing the same at dumping yards shown by the department, watering the plants inside the garden area complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) The contractor shall supply the PPE to the garden labour and they should wear the PPE during their working hours.
Maintenance of Shade Net Nursery for indoor plants, arranged in a series of beds with pathway between them including watering the plants Daily, by Manual / Garden Sprinkler Irrigation Mist Fog System , cleaning the Shade Net Nursery area inside, and on top of shade net once in a month by removing the dry leaves , dry branches which are fallen from the trees and collecting, conveying and disposing the same at bins or places as shown by the department as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the cost of labour for maintaining the potted plants. 2. The rate shall also include cost of all tools, plants, and water delivery hose required for Watering etc. 3. The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m. area/day
Sweeping and Cleaning the road surfaces including water table, road junction & pavement on both sides of roads inside IGCAR complex area two times in a Month and when and where ever required including collecting upto 200m and stacking swept material for disposal upto 4km and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1. Every time cleaning area shall be measured for payment 2. The contractor shall engage minimum 2 numbers of workers daily as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Failure to deploy the minimum number of labour will attract recovery with the minimum wages for every default of labour as mentioned in specification. 3. The rate should also include sweeping tools etc. 4. The contractor shall supply the necessary PPE to the workers. 5. The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of lorry and labour for transporting of sweeping materials to the dumping yard.
Maintenance of lawns, flower beds, hedges, trees etc., in garden area (Non- sprinklers area) by watering at regular intervals, cutting and trimming hedges, and the unwanted growth of grasses as and when required including running lawn mover, removing weeds, collecting the cut grass, fallen leaves of trees and disposing the same at dumping yards shown by the department, watering the trees inside the garden area complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of lorry and labour for transporting of cut grass, leaves etc., to the dumping yard. 2. The rate shall also include cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening etc. 3. The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m. area maintained per month. 4. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for Lawn Movers. If departmental lawn movers is available it will be provided by department on chargeable basis. 5. If lawn mover is not used, then recovery at the rate as mentioned in specification will be levied as penalty from RA Bill. 6. The contractor shall engage minimum 1 person for 1500 sq. m /day throughout the month as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum numbers of labour will attract penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour. 7. Cutting plants should be handed over to nursery for sampling by the contractor as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 8. The contractor shall supply the PPE to the garden labour and they should wear the PPE during their working hours.

I. GENERAL INFORMATION FOR GUIDANCE OF TENDERERS
The schedule of quantities is to be read for the purpose of pricing in conjunction with the special conditions, general rules for the guidance of contractors, conditions of contract, specifications, drawings, schedule of supply of materials and the appendices.
The prices inserted in the schedule of quantities shall be inclusive of value of the work described including all cost and expenses, which may be required in and for the construction of the work described together with the general risks, liabilities and obligations not forth or implied in the documents on which the tender is to be based.
The quantities stated are to be considered approximate only and the unit prices entered in the schedule of quantities and prices shall apply only to the actual quantities measured in the completed work in accordance with the specifications.
All the materials other than those shown in schedule of supply of materials in section VII are to be arranged by the contractor and his rates should account for the same.
Rates quoted for all items in this tender shall include cost of all materials including cement and steel. Department will not supply any materials other than materials stipulated in Section VII of the tender and as such the rates quoted must be all inclusive.
Contractor shall make his own arrangements for construction water supply to carryout this work.
Compensation for escalation in the prices of materials and labour when due is permissible as per provisions in Clause 10CC of conditions of contract.
