Maintenance and Operation of Captive Power House DG Sets of various capacity by One(01) Skilled Technicians ( Minimum ITI passed and having adquate experience for operating DG Set as per OEM instructions) (a) 1st Shift : 0600 to 1400 Hrs (b) 2nd Shift : 1400 to 2200 Hrs (c) 3rd Shift : 2200 to 0600 Hrs with and including carrying out periodical A, B,C&D checks and necessary report sheet shall be submitted accordingly complete all as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Details of Plants & Machinary:- (a) The Plants & Machinaries to be operated in 3 shifts with timings as above are as under:- (i) 400 KVA DG Set -02 Nos (ii) 500 KVA DG Set-02 Nos (ii) 600 KVA DG Set-01 No (iii) 1000 KVA DG Set-01 No (iv) DG Set Control Panels floor mounted for 400 KVA , 500 KVA , 600KVA & 1000 KVA (v) Synchronizing Panel for 1000 KVA DG Set alongwith ACB -06 Nos, Electronic /microprocessor units complete-01 Set. (vi) Station distribution LT Panels (vii) Transformer 415/11000 Volt step up 1000 KVA-Oil Cooled-01 No. (viii) Transformer 415/11000 Volt step up 400 KVA-Oil Cooled-02 No. (ix) Ring main unit 11000 Volt-01 Nos (x) Vaccume Cercuit Breakers-07 Nos (xi) Ringmain unit 11000 volts-01 No.The operator should posses minimum ITI/ Experience by the OEM in operation & maintenance of DG Sets of Capacity 1000/3000 Ltrs/Hr and same also be approved by the accepting officer within one week from the issue of work order.

Note:- (a) The quoted unit rate against above item shall be based on minimum wages as notifed by the Government of India / State Govt. / Union Teritory / Local body which ever is higher including all statuarry provisions such as EPF, ESIC, Bonus, LWC, Taxes etc as applicable as on Bid Sub End Date. The quoted unit rate shall not be less than these provisions in any case. (b) Contractor shall claim RAR/FB payment along with documentary proof towards payent of Min Wages, EPF, ESIC, LWC etc. as applicable. In case any variation same shall be adjusted as per provisions stipulated in CA. (c) Quoted unit rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of all the documents ,Log sheet, attendance register which shall be maintained by the operator during currency of work. (d) Sum of double the quoted rate will be recovered in case operator found absent in the installation. Suitable reliever shall be provided during off shift operator. (e) Tools for minor repair be provided by the Contractor. (f) Uniform with safety shoe, first aid box for operator will be provided by the contractor.

Note (Contd....):- (g) The operator should posses 4-5 years minimum ITI/ Experience by the OEM in operation & maintenance of DG Sets and same also be approved by the accepting officer within one week from the issue of work order. (h) Salary of the operators be paid by the contractor in their respective adhar linked accounts confirming to labour law of Andaman Nicobar Govt and summary will be produced to the department at time of payment. (j) Man power shall have insurance for Rs. 2.00 Lakh provided by the Contractor. (k) The necessary gland packing for pumps and control valves to avoid leakage of water and greasing of all bearings in every four months interval carried out with out any extra cost.

All as per item no. 1 here in before but one Helper per Shift for three shifts including capable to handle fuel barrel 200 Per ltrs capacity (50000 ltrs per month) for filling Captive DG set fuel tank approximately shift 2400 ltrs per day and maintain the general cleaning of installation / surroundings area.

Material and Labour for comprehensive and preventive maintenance of under mentioned DG Set for day to day, weekly, monthly, quarterly and half yearly through qualified engineer as per manufacturer’s instruction or authenticated by Kirloskar Engineer /OEM:- (a) DG Set No - I (500 KVA) DV2/KV seies (b) DG Set No - II (500 KVA) (c) DG Set No - I (400 KVA) KV Series (d) DG Set No - II (400 KVA) KV Series (e) DG Set No - (600 KVA) DV2 Series (f) DG Set No - (1010 KVA) Note :-(i)The complete periodical maintenance of captive DG set to be carried out during the contract period with 1 Kirloskar Senior Engineer (OEM) having minimum 5 year experience in maintenance of DG set. (ii) All consumable store required for captive power DG Set will be paid seperaetely except cotton waste, grease and any minor parts to ensure Engine and Alternator Operational (iii) The stationery and registers required should be provided for the period of contract.

Note:- (iv) Any minor repair occurred to be cleared within 24 hrs and major repair will be cleared within one week. (v) At any given time during contract period all DG set should be kept serviceable except during maintenance period and major repair. (vi) Before commencement of work 1st Inspection of Rep of OEM shall be carried out by the contractor for all DG Sets, so as to get proper running/maintinace DG Sets (vii) At any given time during contract period all DG set should be kept serviceable except during maintenance period and major repair. (viii) Service engineer deployed to carrying out periodical maintenance in DG set should be brought out any major spare parts requirements for replacement before one month through inspection note. (ix) The complete captive installation and surrounding area to be kept clean around the clock with available manpower during shift duties. (x) The maintenance work should be carried out through qualified engineer as and when required and the cost of transportation, boarding and messing be included in the quoted rates. (xi) Spare parts shall be measured and paind under respective items (xii) Before commencement of work 1st Inspection of Rep of OEM shall be carried out by the contractor for all DG Sets, so as to get proper running/maintinace DG Sets
