Ordinary soil Manual Means Depth upto 3 m

Sand Filling in Foundation Trenches with good local sand free from earth not exceeding 150 mm compacted thickness including inundating each layer by profuse water and porking and rammimg layer by layer. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge.(Reference to MORT&H's specification 304). Compaction factor of dry clean sand is 0.835

Plain/Reinforced cement concrete in open foundation complete all including vibrating and compacting, finishing, curing, sampling, testing etc. as per drawing and Technical Specifications (Reference to MORT&H's specifications 1500, 1700 & 2200). Using Concrete Mixer Inclusing 4.0% extra cost as formwork over cost of material PCC Grade M20 (with pakur varieties stone material)

Back filling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete including spriklring water and throughly compacted with plate compactor/power rammer in layers not exceeding 150mm compacted thickness as per drawing and Technical Specification (710.1.4 of IRC:78 & MoRTH's specification 2200) Sandy material

Providing weep holes in Brick masonry/Plain/ Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall/ return wall with 100 mm dia AC/PVC/HDPC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V :20H towards drawing foce. Complete as per drawing and Technical Specifications (Reference to MORT&H's specifications 2706 & 2200).

Excavation in Soil with Dozer with lead up to 100 metres Excavation for road way in soil by mechanical means including cutting and pushing the earth to site of embankment up to a distance of 100 metres (average lead 50 metres), including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections (Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 301). Note-Complete Rate (Including material cost)

Case-I Compacting original ground supporting sub-grade Loosening of the ground upto a level of 500 mm below the sub-grade level, watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of table 300-2 & 300-1 for sub-grade.Construction (Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 305.3.4).

Granular Sub-base with Graded Material (Table:- 400-1) A. Plant Mix Method: Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, mixing in Wet Mix Plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface in proper grade and camber, compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, including lighting, guarding, barricading, including cost of all materials, machinery, tools and plants and cost of quality control complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (v) Grading –III (Drainage Layer ) Using Pakur Variety Stone Chips-26.50 mm size -0.48 m3/m3, 5.60 mm- 0.54 m3/m3 and 0.075mm -0.26 m3/m3

Water Bound Macadam Base Course Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering including lighting, guarding, barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling, including cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machinery and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).
