REPAIR AND MAINT TO INTERNAL ROAD AND BERM INCL REPLACEMENT OF ROAD FURNITURE MD AND OTM ACCN UNDER AGE B/R-I, CHANDIPUR

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n exc 400 sqm, n.exe 50 mm deep and removing n. exe 50 mtr and stacking and further depositing where directed complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with granite trap or basalt, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing WBM /black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0. 7-1 kg/sqm on surface of WMMI/WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed .

Premixed Bituminous Macadam with 4% binder content by weight of total mix laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less)

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc .

Applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.30 Kg/Sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for Road and Bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer of existing cleaning surfaces all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness laid in single layer with binder content using paving bitumen VG-30 as per job mix formula subject to minimum 5.50% by weight of total mix and coarse aggregate of grading-1 including filler laid by mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with vibratory power roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed. Note - In the event of increase in percentage of binder content as per job mix formula, nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rate are deemed to include for the same.

M & L Thermoplastic road marking paint 2.5 mm thick ( lines, dashes, arrows letters etc on wall , pavements and the like) with road safety spikeries glass beads 8% including preparation of new or previously treated road surface by using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto 160 degree centigrade complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing in repair Polycarbonate Convex Mirror (ISI marked) of size 1000 mm dia with and including fixing on 6 feet long MS pipe (medium grade) of required size fixed with 300x300x450mm M-15 concrete mix as approved quality complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and fixing in repair Poly carbonate, Reto reflective micro prismatic type cat eye/ABS road stud of sides on sides of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm fixed with nail in road surface complete all as specified..
