Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, etc area not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 1 above but exc 1.5 metre and not exc 3.0 metre deep.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm as in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded hard granite stone aggregate) in foundations for pole or in filling as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded hard granite stone aggregate) as in coping to Electric Pole including necessary form work and finishing the external surfaces of concrete with 10 mm thick plastering in CM (1:4) finished even and smooth complete all as directed. (Note Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of form work and plastering complete.)

Supply & fix new 9 metres long steel tubular swaged pole complete with cast iron base plate , finial taper plug ,bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP -31 fixed in position including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of primer except the planting depth which shall be painted with black bituminous paint including writing pole number using suitable paint complete all as directed. NOTE :- Excavation and PCC will be measured and paid seperately under relevant items.

M & L for Cross arms bracing supports clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nut bolt washers welding bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and including one primer coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint including taking down old rusted/damaged cross asrms complete all as specified and directed.

S & F 40mm bore GI pipe "light grade" for protection & passing of LT cable fixed to poles/walls/laid under floor/roads complete including fittings, two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of zinc chromate primer complete all as specified

Supply and fixing PVC insulated three core 2.5 sqmm cable stranded copper conductor flexible cable drawn through steel electric pole from terminal box to street light fitting including making proper electrical connection of street light with suitable size thimble/lugs complete all as directed.

M & L for Sand cushioning and covering with clean dry sand in trenches for protection of under ground cables (below, above and around the cable laid in trenches) complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Thickness after punning down shall be measured for payment)

Supply and laying well burnt bricks, locally available best quality bricks laid breath wise across the length of cable in trenches for protection of UG cables complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated, GI strips armoured cable for working voltage 1100 volts, 2 core, nominal cross sectional area of main conductor 10 Sqmm, stranded aluminium conductor, ISI marked as per IS-7098 (Part-I) 1988 including cable glands, lugs etc to suit the cable size and to be laid in trenches, culverts, under floors, through GI Pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated, GI strips armoured cable for working voltage 1100 volts, 4 core, nominal cross sectional area of main conductor 10 Sqmm, stranded aluminium conductor, ISI marked as per IS-7098 (Part-I) 1988 including cable glands, lugs etc to suit the cable size and to be laid in trenches, culverts, under floors, through GI Pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L Earthing complete of machinery/equipment installed at power house/substation with GI earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600mm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 3.0 m below normal ground level with the top edge of earth plate at depth not less than 1.5 m below ground level connected to galvanised earth strip 32 x 6mm thick by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers protected by 40mm bore light grade GI pipe, funnel with 20mm bore GI medium grade pipe for watering, wire mesh, including concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1, pre-cast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 cover slab of size 300x300x50mm reinforced with 8mm dia TMT steel bars @15cm centre to centre in both direction and 10mm dia MS handle of suitable size, charcoal or coke and salt in alternative layers,necessary earth work in any type of soil all as shown in Electrical Plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part I, earth lead connected to main switch board or main control board all as directed and testing on completion including taking down old unserviceable earthing. (Cost of earthing deemed to to be included upto 7.5 metre long GI earth strip and GI protection pipe including fittings. Earth pit shall be at min 500mm away from external face of building.)

Taking down and lowering the serviseable/new column pipe by using boring lifting mechanical crane incl necessary lifting tools/accessories complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Supply of column pipe with collars shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Supply only borewell column pipe galvanised 50 mm dia "Heavy class" including fittings, IS : 3589 Gr 330, lowering into bore well all as directed.

Supply and fix in repair heavy duty collar for lowering galvanised iron pipe od size 50 mm dia lowering into bore well all as directed.

Servicing of submersible pump set 7.5 HP capacity including replacement of impeller, guide rings, neck ring, IP bush, bolts & nuts and lathe work etc complete all as specified. NOTE: - Rewinding of motor if required will be measured and paid separately. (b) Quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of the cost element sfor dismantling and refixing of motor after rewinding/servicing.

Servicing of submersible pump set 10.0 HP capacity including replacement of impeller, guide rings, neck ring, IP bush, bolts & nuts and lathe work etc complete all as specified. Rewinding of submersible motor of capacity 7.5 HP, 3 phase, using supper enamelled PVC insulated copper winding wire including appropriate class of insulation to the existing class and testing on full load after complete re-installation to the satisfaction of Eng-in-charge. Note:- (a) Testing of submersible pump set to be carried out at MES Pump House without extra cost before installation into borewell (b) Quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive the cost element of removing and refixing of motor before and after rewinding/servicing.

Conducting examination/detection of water level in existing borewell by using borewell camera or any other suitable means, measuring borewell depth, recording all the activities in a CD form and submiting to AGE E/M complete all as directed by the Eng-in-charge.

Development of tube well with compressed air and after with 25% extra capacity pump by pumping muddy water.

Dismantling centrifugal pump set for servicing and repair, transporting to reputed workshop, opening and complete overhauling by replacing minor parts like seal, keys, pins, split pins gland packing, rubber gasket, nut bolts of any size or type, replacement of ball bearings of existing size, stainless steel shat, impellar and necessary lathe work as required etc, re-assembling the pump after repair, commissioning and testing on full load discharge complete all as direfted for following capacity and type of pumps :- (a) Monoblock Centrifugal Pump Set of 15 HP, 18 mtr head, directly coupled with common shaft to electric motor on common base, installed PH. Note :The quoted rate shall include the cost of transportation, expendable items like greasing, gland packing, nut bolts, pin, split pins etc required at the time of repair and over hauling including painting pump set using synthetic enamel paint. (b) The rates quoted by the contractor includes the cost of major items like ball bearings, impellers, line shafts, main shafts, bowl casing, suction discharge case etc

Rewinding of Centrifugal pump set 15 HP electric, AC 3 phase 415 volts of following capacities with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing wire-gauge including appropriate class of insulation to the existing class and bushes and testing after complete re-installation at site

M & L for cutting existing GI pipe distribution for branch connection, threading, inserting GI fittings ie socket, nipple, union, Tee etc of 100mm bore pipe complete including all fittings/specials as required and directed.

Supply, laying and testing GI tubing 100 mm bore "medium grade" galvanised with all fittings to laid in trenches including necessary cuttings threading and fixed new fittings such as bends, elbows , sockets, nipples, tappers and all reducers for making branch connections etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
