(c) Alternator : Synchronous alternator rated at 20 KVA, 415 Volts at 1500 RPM 3 phase 50 Hz, AC supply, Brushless type, Screen protected, Revolving field, Self excited alternator conforming to IS/IEC 60034-1, Compact design with sealed bearings and ƒImpregnation on all wound components suitable for tropical conditions and with class F/H insulations. (d) Mounting Arrangement : Engine and alternator shall be mounted on a common MS fabricated base frame with AVM pads. Base frame with integral fuel tank shall be provided with drain plug, air vent, inlet and outlet connection, level indicator and provision for cleaning. (e) Fuel Tank : Daily service fuel tank of capacity as per manufacturer standard specification fabricated out of MS sheet complete with all standard accessories and fuel piping between fuel tank and diesel engine with MS class C pipe of suitable dia complete with valves. Serial item No. 1.00 Contd…. (h) Acoustic Enclosure : Specially designed to meet stringent CPCB norms of 75 dBA @ 1mtr at 75% load under free field conditions. The acoustic enclosure is made of CRCA sheets and a structural/ sheet metal base frame painted in black, High quality noise absorbent and fire-retardant grade acoustic Insulation material (Foam) complying to IS 8183, Two point lifting for easy handling, Air inlet louvers specially designed to operate at rated load, 11 tank pretreatment process and UV resistant powder coating of all parts to withstand extreme environment, Flush styling - no projections, Fluid drains for lube oil and fuel, Fuel filling arrangement inside the enclosure etc. Notes : (i) Testing of DG set shall be carried out on artificial load of heating element only as specified in PS Sec-II. Heating element, power cable etc and Initial filling of lubricating oil/ coolant and fuel required for testing as per clause will be provided by the contractor. (ii) PCC and earth work for DG set foundation shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE insulated screened, bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade cross sectional area 120 sqmm 3.5 core laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, clamps, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

M&L for sub class ‘B’ (old size) burnt clay bricks laid flat and dry abutting each other with gap between adjacent bricks not exc. 10mm for protection of underground electric cable in such a way that the length of brick is at right angle to the central axis of cable complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Boring of holes of 100mm bore under road, pavement, hard standing, etc by trench less technology using necessary machine / manually without disturbing the top surface suitable for passing the GI protection pipe / cables, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Galvanized iron tubing, 80mm bore light grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls with required size of flat iron (25mmx3mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of HT electric cable complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.

S&F cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290) including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilled holes for bolts, in any shape or size with & including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Volume of pole/strut embedded in concrete shall be deducted for the purpose of payment.

NOTES FOR LED LIGHT FITTINGS : (i) All LED light/luminare shall meet the provision laid down in IS - 16101, 16102 Part-I/II, 16103 Part-I, 16104, 16105, 16106, 16108/2012 and 15885 Part -II / Section 13. (ii) Contractor shall submit test report of LED street light fitting from Government accredited test laboratory for LM-79 and LM-80. (iii) Contractor has to furnish a replacement warranty of 05 years for LED light fittings complete including lamps from the date of completion of contract. The product will be replaced on site free of cost in the following case :- (a) Manufacturing defects. (b) Failure due to mechanical and electrical impact.
