Excavation in Soil with Dozer with lead upto 100 metres (Excavation for road way in soil by mechanical means including cutting and pushing the earth to site of embankment upto a distance of 100 metres (average lead50 metres), including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections.)

Surface Drains in Soil (Construction of unlined surface drain of average cross sectional area 0.4 sqm in soil to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions to the requirement of clause 301 and 309. Excavated material to be used in embankment within a lead of 50 metres (average lead 25 metres)

Granular Sub-base with Close Graded Material By Mix in Place Method (Construction of granular sub-base by providing close gradedmaterial, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401)

Water Bound Macadam (Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to WBM specification i/c spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregates, water and compacting to required density) grade III
