Construction of Subgrade and Earthen Shoulders

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1.

Wet Mix Macadam

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with Vibratory Roller 80-100 kN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etc as per Tables 400.11 & 400.12 and Technical Specification Clause 406 MORD, including contractors profit & Over head charges etc., complete.

Prime Coat

Low porosity

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502 MORD (for use on Wet mix macadam & WBM), including contractors profit & Over head charges, etc., complete for Prime Coat.

TACK COAT

Tack coat on Granular surface

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503 MORD, including contractors profit & Over head charges, etc., complete for Tack Coat

Bituminous Concrete with shredded waste plastic (Grading-II)

Providing and laying bituminous concrete 40 mm compacted thickness (8% of shredded waste plastic) with 40-60 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 35 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 @ 5.4 to 5.6 per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 509 complete in all respects.

Note: The Basic Rate of Shredded Waste plastic rates are provided by A&N Administration [Office order No.152, dated 10th January 2019].

SHOULDERS

Excavation in Soil with Dozer with lead upto 100m

Excavation for roadway in soil by mechanical means including cutting and pushing the earth to site of embankment upto a distance of 100 m, including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3 MORD. including contractors profit & Over head charges etc., complete

Granular Sub-base with Well Graded Material (Table 400.1-A)

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material (Table 400.1-A) with Grading III Material (HBG M/C + Stone dust) CBR Value not less than 20 and PI Value less than 6 spreading in uniform layers with Tractor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with Vibratory Roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401 MORD including contractors profit & Over head charges, etc., complete.

WBM Grading 2 (using Graded Metal)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes for Grading 2 material to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with Vibratory roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405 MORD. For compacted thickness of 75 mm. including contractors profit & Over head charges, GST etc., complete for Grade II

Cement Concrete Pavement

Construction of un-reinforced, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, as per Clause 1501.2.2 M30 (Grade), coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS : 383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25mm and cement content in the mix to be 350 kg /cum (Ordinary Portland cement) with minimum water cement ratio of 0.45, mixed in a concrete mixer and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing), spreading the concrete with sholvels, rakes, compacted using needle, scareed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer bitumenous sealant, admixers as adopted, curing of concrete slabs for 14- days, curing compound (where specified) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1501.22 MORD including cost of materials, labour charges, conveyance, hire charges of machineries etc complete as per direction of Engineer in charge for CC pavement including contractors profit & Over head charges, etc., complete For 160mm thick with 2.50 m joint spacing.

Provision for SHOTCRETE to strengthen the existing structures like culverts / Bridges.

Providing and fixing of semi-reflective cautionary, mandatory and informatory boards as per IRC:67 made of 1.5mm thick MS sheet duly stove enamelled paint in white colour in front and grey colour on back with red reflective boarder of 65mm width and required letters and figures with reflective engineering grade tape as per clause 1701.3.8 of MORD for rural roads specification of required shade and colour supported and welded on 47x47mm of 12 SWG square tube of 3050mm height duly strengthened by 25x5mm MS flat iron on edges on back firmly fixed to ground by means of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade CC 450x450x600 mm , 600mm below ground level as per approved drawings and technical specification Clause 1701.2.2 of MORD including contractors profit & Over head charges, including CPOH, cess & GST etc., complete with 600X 600 mm size MS sheet.

Providing and fixing typical “Citizen’s information Board” with Logo as per NRRDA Specifications and Drawing having two nos. MS plate of 1mm thick 900 x 750mm size each duly welded with 2 nos. vertical and 4 nos. Horizontal M.S. flat 50mm x 6mm size on back, the ends of the M.S. flats to be welded with 2x2450mm x 1150mm frame of M.S. square posts to be embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade of 600mm x 600mm size and 750mm below the ground level and keeping 50mm height above the ground level, two coats of epoxy painting MS square , flats and backside of the M.S. sheets with a coat of primer and two coats of ready mixed approved brand synthetic oil bound paint over a coat of epoxy coated priming on rear side of the M.S. plates with bands and lettering of different approved shades as directed shown in the approved design with oil bound ready mixed synthetic paint and providing 70mm x 70mm size Logo.( As per Fig(3) of Road Signage published by NRRDA on Dec 06).

Providing and fixing of typical Maintenance Information board with Logo as per MORD Specifications and Drawing. Three MS Plates of 1.6mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5mm size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lowermost frame and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 600mm below ground level. The topmost diamond plate will be welded to the middle plate 47mm x47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All MS will be stove enamelled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of frame post and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per Drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1.
