Removal of old chocked /exhausted filter media(sand and gravel) from the filter beds including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material incuding all leads and lifts complete. The item includes rubbing and cleaning of surface ,dirt, dust caused due to process and keep the cleanness of the plant.(Quantity to be paid as per actual).This item also includes cleaning/washing of Filter box, walls with wire brushes including cost of scaffolding etc complete. The job is to be carried out under the supervision of Engineer- incharge.

Laying of serviceable filter media i;e gravel including cleaning, washing/grading by sieves and placing in position in filter beds with equal distribution including all leads and lifts as directed by site-incharge. complete job.

Supply/laying and shrouding of filter media (sand and gravel) from approved source Ganderbal in filter beds with equal distribution of materials like sand and gravel to prevent entering the sand into under drains and to ensure uniform distribution of wash water. The size of gravel should vary from 25mm to 12mm as per specification. The filter gravel shall be classified by sieves into four or more sizes, grades, sieves being placed with the coarse sand on the top and fist at bottom free from all dirt and dust including all leads and lifts and carriages complete The job is to be carried out under the supervision of Engineer- incharge..

Dismantling of damaged under drainage system including dismantling of cement concrete blocks, removing of header pipe including tees and end caps complete as mentioned under. The job includes stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material as per the directions of Site-in-charge.

Lateral pipes including tees and caps etc.(80-10 mm dia).

Header pipes including dismantling of concrete block.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting, raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 meters lead.

Providing and laying of new UPVC pipes for lateral system incl. making of orfices as per design requirement. The item includes fixing of tees and end caps complete and also providing and laying of cement concrete block as per design requirement.

Header pipes including dismantling of concrete block.

12mm thick cement plaster finished with a floating coat of neat cement of mix: 1:3 (1 cement: 3 course fine sand)

Providing & laying in position specified grade of cement concrete excluding the cost of centering, shuttering- All work up to plinth level (Nallah) .1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded stone Agg; 20mm nominal size).

Extra for providing and mixing water proofing material in proportion recommended by the manufacturers. 12mm cement plaster1:3(1 cement:3 sand).

Carriage of material by Mechanical transport from different sources up to the site of work.

Sand for an Avg. lead of 25 Km.
