Road Work: Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, up to a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201. i) By Manual Means. Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 150mm and disposal of scarified material with a lift upto 3 m and lead up to 1000 mm as per technical specification clause 301.4

Construction of sub-grade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with a lead up to 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1. (i) Private land

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific size to WBM specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 3 as per Technical specification Clause 405. 3) Grading-II (A) By Mnaul Means.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific size to WBM specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 3 as per Technical specification Clause 405. 3) Grading-III (A) By Mnaul Means.

i) Providing and laying interlocking concrete block pavement having thickness 80mm as per technical specification clause 1504 a) inclusive Edge block/Edge restrants.

Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro-reflective signs as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflected sheeting vide clause 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting 2mm thick with area not exceeding 0.9 sqm suported on a mild steel single angle iron post 75 x 75 x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M-15 grade cement concrete 450 x 450 x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per approved drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1701.

Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised cautionary mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide Clause 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 450 mm x 450 mm x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per drawings and Technical Specification Clause 801. (ii) 60mm equilateral triangle.

(iii) 60cm circular.

Reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade kilometre stone/local stone of standard design as per IRC:8 fixing in position including painting and printing etc, as per drawing and technical specification clause 1703. ii) Ordinary Kilometer stone (Precast)

Protection works Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates cum 2178.20 with 4 mm dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100 mm x 100 mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg each as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1301.
