Excavation in soil in hilly area by mechanical means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with the lift upto 1.5 mtr. and a lead upto 20 mtr. As per technical specification clause 1603.1

Excavation in foundations, trenches etc. in all kinds of earth work including spade work, pick work, jumper work blasting work including where blasting is prohibited and chiselling/wedging out of rock etc. upto all lifts stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 meters clear from the edge of the excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm. layer when required into plinths, sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth within all leads and lifts as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :(i) 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand): 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade including the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Square rubble masonary coursed with hard stones of approved quality in foundation and plinth in Retaining walls/Breast walls in cement mortor 1:6 (1 cement :6 sand) including rakingout joints in:- Including carriage of material within all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.(i) Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding complete all level.(i) Tor steel

Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawings and technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 in Granular materials including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.

Providing weepholes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 110mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading III as per Technical Specification Clause 405 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
