Excavation Work

Extra for every additional lift of 1.5m part thereof in all kinds of soil.

Supplying at site of good earth excavated and brought from outside (borrow pits / stock piles) free from weeds, roots, rubbles and other foreign material including royalty and carriage and filling in trenches, plinth and sides of foundation etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth consolidating each deposited layers by ramming and watering and lift upto 1.5m etc. complete (only consolidated fill shall be paid).

Providing and laying 150 mm thick stone soling under floors properly hand packed, filling interstices with spalls, gravels and inert fine material and consolidating to required gradient and camber, spreading, watering etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of Engineer.

Providing Chemical Emulsion in sealed containers including delivery and depositing in NPCIL store as specified.Chlorpyriphos 20 E.C. of Radar (Isagro) / Eldrin TC of (Cristal Crop Protection) /Echiban (Echiban crop times) conforming to IS:8944 & after approval by EIC

Diluting Chlorpyriphos E.C. 20% to 1% concentration (add of 19 ltr water to 1 ltr of Chlorpyriphos E.C.20%) for pre-constructional anti termite treatment (excluding cost of chemical emulsion).Anti termite treatment of soil under floors and apron on the top surface of filled earth within and along with the plinth walls @ 5 ltr / sqm of the surface before the sand / sub grade is laid. Holes upto 50 to 75 mm deep at 150mm centers both ways including at the junction of wall and floor shall be made with crow bars on the surface to facilitate saturation of the soil with chemical emulsion complete as per direction of engineer in charge. Note:- payment shall be made on the basis of the plan area of the surface treated excluding the plan area of intervening beam & walls.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:3:6 (1 Cement: 3 coarse Sand : 6 Graded Stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) -at all level , transporting of concrete to site, laying, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. all complete excluding cost of centering & shuttering, as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete of 1:2:4 ( 1 Cement : 2 Coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) in retaining walls, return walls, walls(any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed block, anchor block, window sills, fillets etc. at all level including transporting of concrete to site, laying including cost of finishing, curing etc. all complete excluding the cost of centering and shuttering as per specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying in position machine batched, machine mixed and machine vibrated design mix cement concrete of all grades grade for Reinforced cement concrete or other works using 20mm size stone aggregates including transporting of concrete to site for laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement, including cost of finishing, compaction, curing, approved chemical admixtures conforming to IS 9103 in recommended proportions for achieving slump not less than 120mm and water/cement ratio not more than 0.42 at all level & for all sections as per drawings, specifications & direction of Engineer-in-charge. Use of concrete retarding agent / accelerator conforming to IS 9103 shall also be done if situation demands so. Rates should be based on using 350 kg of OPC 43 grade cement per Cum of concrete.

Providing form work of battened frame with sheathing having plywood lining / MS angle frame with sheathing of MS plate lining so as to give fair finish including centering shuttering strutting and propping etc. height of propping and centering below supporting floor not exceeding 3.5 meters to ceilings and removal of same for foundation, footings, columns, wall, Suspended floors, stairs, landings, balconies, lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, cantilevers and access platform etc. complete at all level of floors / roof as per specifications and direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying Thermo-Mechanically Treated reinforcement bars of grade as specified in drawings/specifications and as directed by engineer conforming to IS : 1786 latest revision or the latest relevant code for RCC work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding with 20 gauge annealed binding wire and cement mortar cover block of all size in C.M. 1:2 MIX etc. all complete- as per drawings , specifications & direction of engineer in charge.

Providing & laying Random Rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth level of building & upto 3.00 Mtr. height from NGL for boundary/compound wall with Cement mortar 1:6 (1 Cement :6 Coarse sand) including cost of labour, materials, curing , raking out the joints , finishing, scaffoldings etc. all complete as per specifications and direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying Fly-ash brick masonry using Fly-ash building bricks of class designation- 75 ( IS-12894 -latest revision ) in cement mortar 1:6 ( 1 cement : 6 coarse sand) in superstructure above plinth level up to floor five level as per specifications and direction of Engineer including cost of labour, materials, curing, finishing, scaffoldings etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying half brick masonry using fly ash bricks of class designation-75 ( IS-12894 -latest revision ) in cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand) with RCC 1:2:4 ( 1 Cement : 2 Coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) stiffeners 75 mm thick horizontally @ 1000mm c/c excluding cost of laying reinforcement but including cost of RCC stiffeners in superstructure above plinth level upto floor five level including cost of labour, materials, curing, finishing, scaffoldings, shuttering etc. all complete as per specifications and direction of Engineer in charge. Note - Reinforcement bars to be paid in relevant item.

Providing & fixing 18mm to 22mm thick both face polished Kota stone shelves fixed in walls in cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) including cutting chases in masonry/plaster, finishing, making good the same, full moulding of exposed edges at all level complete as per specification and as directed by engineer in charge.

Providing and laying 6mm thick cement plaster (1 cement : 3 sand) in single coat on RCC ceiling face for interior plastering at all levels including necessary grooves at the junction of RCC and brickwork arises, internal rounded angle, chamfers and / or rounded angles not exceeding 80 mm in girth including scafolding, finishing, curing etc all complete as per specifications and direction of engineer.

Providing and laying 15mm thick cement plaster 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand) in single coat on either side of single or half brick wall for interior plastering at all levels using galvanized M.S. wire of I.S. gauge designation 26 s.w.g. chicken mesh over junctions of brick work, beams and column as required including necessary grooves at the junction of RCC and brick work, arises, internal rounded angles, chamfers and / or rounded angles not exceeding 80mm in girth including scafolding, finishing, curing etc all complete as per specifications and direction of engineer.

Providing and laying 18 mm thick cement plaster in two coats under layer 12 mm thick cement plaster 1:4(1 cement : 4 fine sand) finished with a top layer 6mm thick cement plaster 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand) on either side of single or half brick masonry walls for exterior plastering at all height and using galvanized M.S. wire of I.S. gauge designation 26 S.W.G. chicken mesh over junctions of brick work, beams and column as required including necessary grooves at the junction of RCC and brick work, arises, internal rounded angles, chamfers and / or rounded angles not exceeding 80mm in girth including scafolding, finishing, curing etc all complete as per specifications and direction of engineer.

Providing water proofing material Dr. Fixit Pidi proof LW plus / Complast X-421 1C of fosroc / STP no 1 of STP Ltd. as approved in NPCIL store & issuing the same from NPCIL store as per site requirement for mixing in cement plaster work / concrete work in proportion as recommended by the manufacturers etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing polished sand stone slabs 20 to 25 mm thick over in window/ventilators sills,jambs and soffits over layer of 12mm thick cement mortar 1:3 and pasted with suitable adhesive such as araldite and steel screws if required for vertical / horizontal facia etc. and joints treated with white cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slabs, including rubbing and polishing, edge moulding, finishing & curing work at all level etc. complete as per specification & direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying premium quality (glazed/mat finish) vitrified tiles of size 600mm x 600mm of approved shade and confirming to IS:15622 (latset revision) of H&R JOHNSON (full body-solid surface)/KAJARIA (full body-Delfi series)/ NITCO (full body series) as approved, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement: 4 sand) in floor and skirting including grouting the joints using special tile grout FEVIMATE-TG of Pidilite or similar approved make complete: including covering of tiles suitable tile protection material over it for protection of tiles from paint stains, scratch during various finishing activities including finishing and curing at all levels etc. all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing premium quality special printed ceramic glazed wall tiles of size 450mmx300mm and 6mm thickness of approved shade in base and highlighter conforming to IS: 15622 (latest revision) of H&R JOHNSON wall tiles (DIGITAL PRINTED SERIES) / KAJARIA (Digital & power line) / NITCO (Cosmos digital wall tiles) as approved in skirting and dado over 12mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3(1 cement :3 sand) including grouting the joints using special tiles grout FEVIMAT - TG of Pidilite or similar approved make complete including protecting the tiles from painting stains and scratches during various finishing activities including finishing and curing work at all level etc. all complete as per specification & direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing 14mm to 16mm thick ordinary quality Plain White Marble gang saw cut machine cut for horizontal and vertical supports to kitchen platform, vanity counters and for other similar purposes to be fixed in position with cement mortar 1:3 including back to back jointing of vertical supports with epoxy bonding agent, curing etc. at all levels all complete as per drawing, specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing in full width & length 15mm to 18mm thick Granite Black or any other approved shade / colour / texture gang saw cut mirror polished, premoulded, machine cut for kitchen platforms, fascias and similar locations laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement :4 sand ) with joints treated with white cement mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, edge moulding and polishing to edge to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels: Area of slab over 0.50 Sqm. including finishing & curing work at all level etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Base rate of granite shall not be less than Rs. 1800 / Sqm) Note:- Sample of granite shall be approved by EIC before bulk purchase.

Pressed steel door frames

Providing and fixing pressed steel door frames conforming to IS: 4351 manufactured from 1.6 mm thick commercial mild steel sheet including hinges jamb, lock jamb, bead and base ties of pressed mild steel angle of size 20mm x 20mm x 1.25mm thick to suit floor thickness welded or rigidly fixed together by mechanical means, adjustable lugs with split end tail fixed to each jamb including fixing superior quality heavy duty Stainless Steel Butt Hinges 100mm long with the frame using SS-MS welding process and SS Screws all as per specifications including provision of mortar guards, lock strike – plate and shock absorbers as specified, filling the hollow box space with the 1:2:4 cement concrete (6.7 mm down coarse aggregate to be used), water cured for minimum 7 Days before fixing the same and applying two coats of approved brand synthetic enamel paint on exposed surface over a coat of approved steel primer on entire surface (interior and exterior) after pre- treatment of the surface, drilling holes of specified diameter and depth with the provision of high quality rubber/PVC sleeves for accommodating male parts of door fittings such as aldrops and tower bolts etc. all complete including cost of all material and labour as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer–In charge. - Profile B 105 x 60mm single rebate type

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and frame work M.S. door & fix ventilators, anchors etc made out M.S. angle, channels, flats, rods, bars, weld mesh, M.S. pipe etc including supplying, cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying two coat of approved quality synthetic enamel paint over a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete as per standard design, including the cost of all material and labour complete- as per drawings , specifications & direction of engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing M.S. grills of required pattern in frames of windows, ventilators, balconies etc. with M.S.flats, square or round bars ets. all complete including applying two coat of approved quality synthetic enamel paint over a priming coat of approved steel primer: Fixed to steel/ aluminium window by welding/riveted or bolted all complete as per standard design, drawing, specification and direction of engineer in charge. MS grill design & drawing shall be prepared & submitted by the contracting agency for the approval of EIC.

Providing and fixing factory made 30 mm thick Flush door shutter single / double leaf conforming to IS ; 2202(part-1) of make KITPLY / GREENLAM / CENTURY as approved by EIC, with Block board core & frame of well seasioned hard wood, cross band made from BWP grade veneers and commercial BWP grade face veneers on both sides of shutter including providing and fixing 2nd class teak wood leaping of suitable size and shape all around the edges including approved brand stainless steel fixtures like Tower bolt (size-250mmx12mm), Tadi latch (300mmx14mm), Aldrop (300mmX16mm), Handles plate type - 100mm size (size shall be confirming to IS:208) - 02 nos, Magnetic Cather etc. painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer of approved brand etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of Engineer. Providing and fixing 35 mm thick fly-mesh door shutters in 2nd class ghana teak wood fabricated as per the approved drawings comprising of 100 mm wide Top rail, End & middle styles, 150mm wide Bottom & Lock Rails, Stainless Steel (SS 202 Grade) wire-mesh of 24 gauge having 12 meshes per 2.5 cm in either directions fixed to shutter with the use of 2nd class teak wood edge molded beadings of minimum size 15mm x 15mm & fitted with necessary fittings & fixtures such as M.S. door spring HELIX of YEN, 2 nos stainless steel tower bolts of size 250 mm x 10 mm, 1 no S.S. L-drop of size 300mm x 16mm, 2 nos S.S. handles of size 150 mm & the shutter painted on exposed faces with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved brand & shade over a coat of approved primer including cost of all material and labour complete as per drawings Specification and direction of EIC. Note:- 1. actual area of shutter will be paid. 2. SS fitting shall be of premium grade of AKS/Royal/Yamaha as approved and samples of fitting shall be approved by EIC before placing order of bulk purchase.

Providing and fixing double leaf cupboard shutters with frame fabricated from 18-19mm thick BWP grade block board conforming to IS:1659, Kit board gold / Greenlam / Century make with laminate of approved make (Kit ply / Greenlam / Century) and shade on both faces (1 mm thk. laminate on front face and 0.8 mm thk. on back face with the provision of edge bending) including IInd class teak wood lipping of 19mm wide x 6 mm thick with necessary S.S screws and bright finished heavy duty stainless steel fixtures of approved brand (two nos handles plate type - 100mm size (size shall be confirming to IS:208), two nos. magnets, two nos. tower bolt of 100mmx10mm rod size, one nos. hasps and steples etc.), Stainless Steel Butt hinges / S.S. piano hinges etc. as approved all complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge with Note - actual area of shutter with frame will be paid.

Aluminium work

Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with neoprene gasket and silicon sealant etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of engineer-in-charge. With float glass panes of 4.0 mm thickness (Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be included in basic item)

Providing & fixing Stainless steel (Grade 304) Wire mesh of 24gauge of 12 mesh per 2.5 cm in either direction including supplying and fixing with required size U section aluminium beading over existing Aluminum window at all height etc. complete as directed the Engineer.

Providing and fixing 30mm thick factory made pre-laminated PVC door shutter of approved make and design consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes of 19 gauge thickness and size of 19 mm x 19 mm for styles and 15x15 mm for top & bottom rails. M.S. frame shall have a coat of steel primers of approved make. M.S. frame covered with 5 mm thick heat molded PVC 'C' channel of size 30 mm thickness, 95 mm width out of which 75 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree angle on both side forming styles and 5 mm thick, 115 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 95 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree on the inner side to form top and bottom rail and 140 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 100 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered on both sides to form lock rail. Top, bottom and lock rails shall be provided both side of the panel. 10 mm (5 mm x 2 ) thick, 20 mm wide cross PVC sheet be provided as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail, paneling of 5 mm thick both side PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S. frame welded/ sealed to the styles & rails with 7 mm (5 mm+2 mm) thick x 15 mm wide PVC sheet beading on inner side, and joined together with solvent cement adhesive. An additional 5 mm thick PVC strip of 20 mm width is to be stuck on the interior side of the 'C' Channel using PVC solvent adhesive etc. including all SS fitting and fixtures such as 1 nos Tadi latch 200mm longx12mm rod size, 2 nos. tower bolt 250mm x 12mm, 2 nos. plat type handles - 100mm size (size shall be confirming to IS:208) of approved brand complete as per drawing, specification & direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Applying Birla/JK/Asian / Nerolac white cement based wall putty (two coats) including base coat of alkaline resistance cement primer over cement plaster/ concrete surfaces after cleaning / scrubbing of the surfaces with wire brushes, soft brushes, sand papers, steel sheet scrappers and mechanical grinder etc. for removing all kind of burrs, imperfections, undulations and other such defects existing in the surface to achieve plain & even surface. including the cost of materials, labour etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and applying premium emulsion paint of make Asian paint premium emulsion (product code 011) / Nerolac Beauty gold / Rangoli Total care of Berger as approved to give an even shade: - Two coats on new work including priming coat with approved cement primer of make Asian True Care Interior wall primer (0360) / Nerolac water thinnable cement primer / BP cement primer water thinnable of Berger as approved after cleaning / scrubbing of the surfaces with wire brushes, soft brushes, sand papers, steel sheet scrappers and mechanical grinder etc. for removing all kind of burrs, imperfections, undulations and other such defects existing in the surface to achieve plain & even surface. The item rate include spreading of suitable clean protection covering on all exposed surfaces to protect them from staining. All surfaces surrounding to painted area such as door & window frames, glass pans, electrical fittings, switch board, floors, skirting, platform etc. shall be cleaned to sparkling clean condition using suitable thinners, detergents, chemical cleaners etc. under the scope of the item. including the cost of materials, labour etc. all complete as per specification & direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Painting to be takenup after attending all seepage / leakage problem. No peel off of paint & seepage spots shall be allowed.

Supplying and applying wheather proof exterior emulsion paint of make Asian paint apex (code 0012) / Nerolac excel / Weather coat smooth of Berger as approved of required shade on New work Two coats including base coat of exterior wall primer of make Asian True Care exterior wall primer (0065) / Nerolac exterior primer / Weather coat exterior primer of Berger as approved after cleaning / scrubbing of the surfaces with wire brushes, soft brushes, sand papers, steel sheet scrappers and mechanical grinder etc. for removing all kind of burrs, imperfections, undulations and other such defects existing in the surface including filling surface imperfections such as holes, dents, cracks by using mixture of white cement & fine sand (in the ratio of 1:3) to achieve plain & even surface. The item rate include spreading of suitable clean protection covering on all exposed surfaces to protect them from staining. All surfaces surrounding to painted area such as window / ventilator frames, glass pans etc. shall be cleaned to sparkling clean condition using suitable thinners, detergents, chemical cleaners etc. under the scope of the item. including the cost of materials, labour etc. all complete as per specification & direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Providing and fixing M.S. fan clamp of 16mm dia M.S. bar bent to shape with locked ends in R.C.C slabs, beams during laying including painting the exposed portion of loop, all as per standard design, all complete- as per drawings, specifications & direction of engineer in charge.

Providing angular fillets 75mm x 75mm of cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) as per drawings, specification & direction of engineer incharge.
