M&L for seven stage cleaning and sterlization inside the Underground/semi under ground sump of 10000 Gallons capacity through bacterological treatment by using TERBACK G5, TERBACK G10 , TERBACKG65 and UV RAY by involving the following seven (7) stages of cleaning process including cleaning the external surfaces, structure for all scales and other particles any algae, hives and any type of vegetation or any other type of unwanted matters and repairs to internal/external cracks, small holes with cement and sand mortar (1:4) and applying one coat of white wash to internal surface when became dry and two coat of white wash to external surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Seven (7) stages of cleaning process: (a) First stage is to draining out the reserved water by using exit valve or high capacity pump of dewatering system. (b) Second stage is cleaning all the algae formation inside the tank removing all scale, dirt, mud inside the tank by using TERBACK G10 Chemical complete. (c) Third stage is scrubbing the walls and floor with mechanized scrubber & fresh water cleaning by high speed jet pump (rotary & flat) to remove all scaling, algae and other formed particles on internal surfaces of the tank completely. (d) Fourth stage is first bacteria screening i.e. de-germification by using TERBACK G5 chemical complete. (e) Fifth stage is Cleaning the floor of the water tank by heavy duty industrial vaccum cleaner and sludge sucker maximum 1200W with suitable heavy duty rugged motor to make sump free of any foreign and loose particles of any nature. (f) Sixth stage is second bacteria screening and sterlisation method by using UV RAYS by heavy duty UV radiation which shall have 360 degree of sterlization with in the tank to kill all suspended bacteria (The radiation shall portable and effective for sterlization of drinking water tanks for dimination of floating and suspended bacteria).

(g) Seventh stage of cleaning and third screening is to sterilize the floor and wall of the water tank by using laboratory certified branded strong oxidizing agent TERBAC G65 or equivalent any non toxic bio-degradable eco-friendly anti-bacterial agent certified by a Govt. approved laboratory to disinfect the tank from all harmful pathogans. Note: (i) Entire T&P should be arranged by the contractor at their own. Only electric power & water shall be supplied by MES at all stipulated rate. (iii) ''Date of cleaning'' should be written over the outer surface of tank by synthetic enamel paint with lettering not less than 100mm height. (iii) All safety equipments required like safety helmets, Gumboots, safety belt, mask, safety googles and necessary insurance for safety of working labours to execute the work is responsibility of the contractor and rates quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of the same. (iv) Contractor will submit Govt.laboratory test certificate of TERBAC-G5, TERBAC-G10 and TERBAC G65.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep getting out in soft/loose soil for laying of GI / CI water tubing etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in Charge.

M&L for cutting of existing road / hard standing / foot path surfaces for laying water tubings and making good to disturbed surfaces with plain cement concrete type C-2 (1:3:6 , using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm thick as in soft/loose soil etc complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials (soil) to a distance n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up or down steel tubing with connections including cleaning for refixing or removal from site with all fittings complete all as specified and directed. of following bore(s) of pipe :- (Note - 1:- excavation will be measured and paid separately under relevant items. ) (a) 100 mm bore

(a) 63 mm bore Note - excavation will be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

Supply,laying and testing CI pipes with spigot and socket ends centrifugal cast , B class including all necessary fittings fittings laid in trenches or floor complete all as directed by Engr in Charge of following bore(s) of pipe:- (Note - excavation will be measured and paid seperately under relevant item ) (a) 250 mm bore

M & L for Run lead joint suitable for spigot and socket pipes including spun yarn complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in--charge for following bore of pipe including burning of old lead joint:- (a) 250 mm bore Note - 1.Excavation will be measured and paid separately under relevant item 2.For item 15 to 18 work to be completed on emergency basis and in one go as the worksite lies in civil area. Contractor shall make good after repair work as original condition of the road. Rate for the same shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted.

M& L for cast iron fitting such as Bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type, (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.) Tee pieces single branch. "Y" junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs suitable upto 150mm bore including taking out old unserviceble CI fitting etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

S&F in repair PP-R Gate valves (brass insert) as per requirement of the site suitable etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge for following bore (s) of pipe :- (a) 63 mm bore

M&L for construction of Block masonry valve pit of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 600 mm (internal dimension) complete with MS angle iron frame work ( angle size 40 x 40 x 6 mm ) , 3 mm thick MS shet top cover , openable through hinges including necessary locking arrangement , rendering 15 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 on inside and exposed external surface in two layers (5+10) top layer mixed with water proofing compound, and painting steel sutfaces with two coats of bituminous paint inside and on exposed surfaces complete all as specified and shown in Drg No. TD/EM/6 Sheet 1/2 & 2/2 including dismantling old unserviceable one.

Suplying, fabricating & fixing structural mild steel channel, angle, iron, flat iron, sheets and brackets etc for fabrications of valve chamber cover, chasis for pump, PS tank plates, PS tank covers, clamps and back plates including nuts, bolts and washers, welding banding cold , or hot drilling holes for insulators bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of steel surfaces of any description as CI / GI pipes, pit covers etc and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint complete as specified and as directed.

Lifting and lowering of exisitng column pipe carefully from the borewell including disconnecting all electric and water connections and dismantling of the each length to bring out the submerseible motor pump from the borewell by chain pully block etc. (manually) complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down the defective submersible motor of any make 415 Volts 3 Phase 10 HP by dismantling the electrical connections, removing the motor from bed by decoupling with pump transporting to workshop, dismantling it completely, removing the burnt out winding, rewinding the same with super enameled copper wire of existing gauge replacement of unserviceable part and with necessary insulating material, varnishing, backing and re assembling the motor completely with all connections as directed by Engr-in-charge :- Note : (i) Burnt out removed winding wire shall be the property of contractor through schedule of credit and cost of same shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (ii) Cost of minor spare parts such as nuts, bolts and washer replaced shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (iii) Work shall be carried out by authorised agent of manufacturer of motor and written approval of the same shall be obtained from Accepting Officers before execution of the work.

S & F in repair CI non return valve, 80 mm bore dia with byepass arrangement working pressure 10kg/Cm2 comfirming to IS 5312 including jointing by means of rubber gasket 3mm thick MS nuts bolts & washers etc complete all as specified ans as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
