Construction of Embankment with Material obtained from Borrow pits Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits (land own/arranged by the Agency) with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2 & 300-1 .The size course material in the mix of earth ordinarily shall not be exceed 75mm.(Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 305). Cost of compensation for Earth material & its carriage from private land at 5km distance have been includedin the rate. Land owned /arranged by the Contractor. Carried earth. Lead upto 5km. Rate is Including 1.0% Cess.

Compensation for earth will vary from place to place and will have to be assessed realistically as per particular ground situation. Land owned /arranged by the Department . Lead upto 5km. Rate is Including 1.0% Cess.

Dismantling of Flexible Pavements Dismantling of flexible pavements and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 metres, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately By Mechanical Means Bituminous course Rate is Including 1.0% Cess.

Fine Sand Filling in Foundation Trenches with good local sand free from earth not exceeding 150 mm compacted thickness including inundating each layer by profuse water and porking and rammimg layer by layer. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge.(Reference to MORT&H's specification 304). Rate is Including 1.0% Cess.

1 Granular Sub-Base with Graded Material 1A Plant Mix Method Construction of granular sub-base byproviding graded material such asnatural sand/crushed gravel/crushedstone/combination depending uponthe required grading spreading inuniform layers with motor grader onprepared surface, mixing byappropriate mechanical mixure (withcontrolled addition of water), and compacting with vibratory roller toachieve at least 98% of the maximumdry density for the materialdetermined as per IS:2720 (Part 8),complete as per clause 401 For grading-V Material Rate is Including 1.0% Cess.

Wet Mix Macadam Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate conforming to the grading of table 400- 13 revised vide table 2 of IRC : 109 (2015) to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density .The thickness of a single compacted layer shall not be less than 75 mm.(Reference to MoRT&H's specification 406. Rate is Including 1.0% Cess.

Providing and applying primer coat with cationic bitumen emulsion SS1 grade conforming to IS:8887 on prepared porous granular surface including clearing of road surface and spraying primer using mechanical means (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 502). i) On WMM/WBM surface @ 0.85kg /sqm. Using Cationic CSS-1 Bulk Rate is Including 1.0% Cess.

Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic bitumen emulsion (RS1) complying with IS:8887 using emulsion pressure distributor on the prepared bituminous/granular /cement concrete pavement surface cleaned with mechanical broom and high pressure air jet (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 503). i) On bituminous surface @ 0.25kg /sqm Using Cationic RS1 Bulk Rate is Including 1.0% Cess.
