COMPLETION OF INCOMLETE WORK OF SPL REPAIR FOR REPLACEMENT/UPGRADATION OF OLD VINTAGE TRANSFORMERS AND WATER SUPPLY PUMPING SETS AT VARIOUS LOCATION UNDER GE (859) EWS

Taking down old transformer of any size, make & capacity from site including disconnecting HT cable from two pole structure, HV side terminal /LT cable from LT panel, LV side terminal incl removing earthings form body and terminals complete and the same will be deposited to MES store yard complete all as directed.

Disconnecting existing serviceable transformer 500 KVA capacity complete and shifting to new location within 500 mtr distance including re-installation, connecting, testing and commissioning as directed. Note :- Necessary T&P for shifting of transformer including dehydration of oil and top up of transformer oil are deemed to be included in the item rate.

Supply , installation, testing and commissioning of step down transformer, out door type, mounted on PCC platform of height 1.5m, copper wound, HT-11 KV 3 phase, LT 433 volts 3 phase 4 wire of capacity 400 KVA, with off load tap changing arrangement on HT side to vary secondary voltage up to (+) 5 % to (-)10% in steps 2.5 % variation in HV and with standard fittings such as dial type temparature gauge for reading maximum temperatur, conservator oil level indicator, drain out valve, silica gel breather, explosion vent diaphragm, all as per IS:1180 (Part-I) : 2014, confirming to energy efficiency level 3, including filling of new transformer oil, having dielectric strength not less than 40 KV (RMS) with gap of 2.5 mm, conforming to IS :335-1993 and including necessary fixing of foundation bolts, nuts, washers etc complete all as specified and directed. (Note :-PCC work for the mounting platform will be measured and paid under respective item of schedule)

Disconnecting /taking out existing unserviceable /damaged HT underground cable of any size, any type from trenches/ ducts or from pole etc., complete all as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5 m depth in hard /dense soil and getting out complete all as directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus material not exc 50 mtrs and deposited where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtrs above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning for cable protection using clean dry sand complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for unreinforced precast concrete cable covers class HV, type 1 of size 300mmx 180mm x40mm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing GI pipe light grade 80 mm dia, ISI marked of required length for protection of cables laid in trenches or fixed along with the pole complete including necessary MS clamps, nuts bolts and washers etc all as specified & as directed.

Supply, laying ,testing , jointing and commissioning XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty), with stranded aluminum conductor, 11000 volts grade, suitable for earthed system, of cross sectional area 120 sqmm 3 core, laid in pipe, trenches/ducts, on pole etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning cable XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor,11000 volts grade, cross sectional area 185 Sqmm x 3 core. laid in pipe, trenches/ducts, on pole etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Cable jointing kit for 11 KV grade cable for indoor termination cold shrink type complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 SQ MM to 185 SQMM and testing after jointing all as specified and directed. Taking down & disconnecting old UNSV LT panels from existing position of different capacity including all accessories from panels complete including making good to the disturbed surfaces all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for earthing complete with Galvanised Steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 2.25 m below the ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below the ground level connected to galvanised Steel Earth strip of 32x6 mm earth lead by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers made of galvanised steel and connected to main switch board or main control board as directed and including provision of concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) Type C1, precast RCC (1:2:4) Type B-1 cover slab 54x54x55 CM reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 150mm C/C both ways with one handle for lifting, made out of 8mm dia MS bar embedded in pre-cast cover slab, funnel ,wire mesh, 20 mm bore galvanised or steel pipe(medium grade) for watering, charcoal and salt in alternate layers 40mm bore galvanised steel tubing light grade for protection to earth lead connection, test point, necessary exavation and earth work in any type of soil and including necessary testing complete all as shown on electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I (2009). Dismantling carefully cylinder head, piston assembly, cylinder liner, radiator inlet & exhaust manifold, turbo charger, silencer and other accessories for Engine of capacity 25 BHP to 40 BHP Make - Kirloskar by authorised service centre complete all as directed . Note :- 1. Necessary transportation from site to agency and back is deemed to be included in the item rate. 2. Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be paid separately as 'Supply only' under relevant item of schedule. 3. Before dismantling of engine a Board of Officer shall be convened by the accepting officer to ascertain the unserviceable parts.

Top overhualing of Diesel engine 25 BHP to 40 BHP Make : Kirloskar as per manufacturer's instruction including replacement of all defective parts required for making smooth functional of the Engine by authorised service centre complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be paid separately as 'Supply only' under relevant item of schedule.

Overhauling and calibration of fuel pump by authorised service centre including replacement of injector nozzle including worn out parts i.e delivery valve, pump plunger, nozzle spring adjustment screws etc all as specified and directed . Note :- Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be paid separately as 'Supply only' under relevant item of schedule.

Repair and calibration of injector assembly including replacement of nozzle, spring, barrel plunger, injector cup complete and refitting to original position duly changing the worn out nut, bolts/studs etc complete by authorised service centre , all as specified and directed . Note :- Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be paid separately as 'Supply only' under relevant item of schedule.

Opening of dynamo assembly by authorised service centre , replacement of wornout armature, carbon brushes and bushes complete and refixing all the components in it's original position with necessary screws, nuts & bolts all as directed . Note :- Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be paid separately as 'Supply only' under relevant item of schedule.

Repairs to cylinder head of Diesel engine 25 BHP to 40 BHP Make : Kirloskar by authorised service centre , shifting of clyinder head to workshop for machine work including grinding of inlet exhaust valve,fitting of valve guide,valve seat,facing,turning,polishing etc. Note :- Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be paid separately as 'Supply only' under relevant item of schedule.

Takiing down carefully Radiator assembly from existing diesel engine 127 BHP Make: Kirloskar Transportation to authorised service centre of manufacture if directed by Engr-in-charge for repairs to fins,circulation ducts,upper and lower tank by brazing weilding for making leak proofing incl descaling internally the upper and lower tanks and incl transportation of repaired radiator from service centre to site and refixing the same in original position and testing complete of Diesel engine 127 all as specified and directed.
