SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROAD AND ALLIED SERVICES AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS OF OAF UNDER GE 970 EWS.

Amount

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and thickness exceeding 50mm but not exceeding 100mm deep and removing thereof from site, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates (granite trap & basalt) of Grading-2 (63mm to 40mm size) or Grading -3 (50mm to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required and rolling with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for premixed bituminuous macadam using 4% binder content of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, consolidated thickness 75mm, laid using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of WBM surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 30 grade @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface and laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface etc, complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (i) Contractor shall quote his rates by considering binder content @ 5.5 % of total mix by weight. (ii) Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be prepared in central computerised hot mix plant. (iii) Design mix shall be got done by the contractor at his own expenses from NABL approved laboratory as decided by GE, before laying the SDAC. (iv) A recovery @ Rs 60/- per Kg shall be made if the bitumen content in design mix is found on lower side but no ajustment shall be made if the bitumen content is found on higher side than specified.

Repair to potholes of any depth, not exc 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of existing black top surface, removing dust, dirt, grease & other foreign matters etc to receive the marking and applying hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint (White/ Yellow) inlusive type I reflectorising glass beads as per table 800-3, 800-4 of MORT&H applied in uniform thickness of atleast 2.00mm and 10cm wide and spread uniformly with reflectorising glass beads type II @ 250 Gms per Sqm with a road marking machine as per IRC 35, with traffic diversion arrangements if required, complete as per MORT&H specification clause 803.4, complete all as specified and directed. Note : The road marking machine shall be approved by GE before incorporation in the work.

S&F in replacement ABS speed breaker/ rubber rumbler of size 500mm x425/350mm x 50/75mm rubberized, tough, weather resistant capable to with stand weight of the vehicles comprises of segments of colour Black/ Yellow and suitable fixing with zinc plated 12x 120mm Nails, complete all as specified and directed. Make : OSCAR, Cat Part No OS-794 or Technocommercially equivalent make as approved by GE.

S&F in replacement acrylic dual directional delineator having 100mm dia cube corner high intensity reflector (signal red/yellow/white) held in strong ABS plastic body mounted over CRC powder coated steel tube 47mm dia of 18 gauge wall thickness of total height 600mm having flared/welded foot for firm grip to base. Acrylic reflector and ABS body protected in welded mesh cage. Vertical support tube shall have a plastic sheet reflector all around, including excavation in any strata and embedding in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 of size 30cm x 30cm x 40cm etc, complete all as specified and directed. Make : OSCAR, Cat Part No OS-797 or Technocommercially equivalent make as approved by GE.

S&F in replcament dual directonal reflective Cat Eye of impact resistant ABS plastic stud 100x 100x 20mm having ultra voilet resistant colour White/ Yellow/ Red with reflective glasses beads of colour white/ Yellow/Red and fixing with zinc plated nails of size 2 x 120mm on the road by hammering, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : OSCAR, Cat Part No OS-783 or Technocommercially equivalent make as approved by GE.

S&F in replacement polycarbonate convex road safety mirror of size 600mm dia duly plastic framed back covered and provided with holding clamp arrangement having wide field of vision, exterior weather proof, bright reflection, anti glare and easy to maintain suitable for installing on blind curves over the wall or pole etc including round stand post 50mm dia made out of 1.65mm thick steel CRC sheet of total length 2000mm having hold fast at the bottom and top end closed with MSD sheet painted white with synthetic enamel paint over a red oxide metal primer complete all as specifed and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : OSCAR, Cat Part No OS-789 or Technocommercially equivalent make as approved by GE.

S&F in replacement solar road delineater having 6 LEDs of colours Red/ Yellow housed in aluminium/ plastic body LEDs solar cells battery and light sensor well protected inside polycarbonate sheet devices proted with powder coated wiremesh cage system mounted over 47mm dia tube coated 600mm having sheet foot for firm grip to ground complete all as specified and directed. Make : OSCAR, Cat Part No OS-812 or Technocommercially equivalent make as approved by GE.

Note : Amount of credit of Rs 23405.00 for retrieved material is mentioned in Schedule of Credit of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
