Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Banker Details

As per the Karnataka Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1994, the minor minerals used in works shall be compulsorily procured only from authorized minor mineral quarry contractors who have obtained permission from the Department of Mines and Geology, and the minerals shall be used only after obtaining a mineral transport permit. All departments/agencies executing works shall mandatorily comply with this.

The use of minor minerals transported from unauthorized sources and used in works is illegal. If minor minerals produced from unauthorized sources are used in works without a mineral transport permit, the work contractors bills shall not be settled. Only in cases where the contractor executing the work pays to the Department of Mines and Geology a penalty equal to five times the royalty for the minor minerals used in the work, an additional payment AP of 40% of the royalty, and 10% of the royalty towards the District Mineral Foundation Fund, and submits the relevant information, action shall be taken to settle the work bills.
