REPAIR/MAINT OF HT ELECTRICAL SERVICES AND CONNECTED EQPTS/PLANTS (TRANSFORMER/VCBS) WITH HT CABLE OH LINE AT BORJAR, AMINGAON, SADILAPUR, SHANTIPUR AND TRANSIT CAMP AREA UNDER GE GUWAHATI

Material and labour for excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.50 mtr in depth for taking out/laying of under-ground cable, pole or stay and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50 mtr wide but exceeding 1.50 mtr depth for taking out/laying of under-ground cable, pole or stay and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing sand cushioning to UG cable, 8 cm thick laid before laying of cable and 15 cm thick after laying of cable punned down to total thickness of 18 cm in trenches with clean dry sand of approved quality, suitable for sand cushioning complete all as specified and directed. Note: Punned thickness only shall be measured and paid.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP, type 1 with peak, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of electric cable, (in replacement) heavy duty 11KV (E) grade, XLPE insulated, screened with sound compacted aluminium conductor, screening with extruded semi-conducting layers insulation screening with copper tape covers laid up with PVC (ST-2) extruded inner sheathing galvanised steel strip armoured PVC (ST-2) outer sheathed cable conforming to IS-7098(Part-II) amended of Nominal cross sectional area of 95 sqmm, 3 core laid in trenches/cable duct complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out/ down faulty serviceable 11KV, HT UG cable in existing trenches/duct/on HT poles of nominal cross sectional area from 95 to 185 Sqm, 3 core including disconnecting PCC covers, GI Pipe etc. of any descriptions, including segregation of serviceable materials viz PCC cable cover, Gl Pipes etc. and tracing the location of fault and keep in safe custody for re-use complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: (i) Earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items (ii) Serviceable cable covers will be kept aside for re-use.

Re-laying only old PCC cable cover in trenches for Under Ground cable protection (Serviceable Materials obtained from item No. 8.00 here-in-before) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement Gl protection pipe 80mm dia light grade for cable protection incl all fittings laid in trenches or fixed on pole complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cable jointing kit for 11KV (Earthed) grade cable, heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core, XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable including testing etc for the following types and sizes:-

Straight through 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm 3 core.

Outdoor End termination 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm 3 core.

Filtration & de-hydration of transformer oil to achieve the test results as per IE rules with filtration plant including topping up of transformer oil. Note: (a) The filtration of the transformer oil is to be carried out at different sub stations other than Basistha location i.e. 240 transit camp, 22 MC Group, MD Accn Shantipur, Sadilapur Tr Camp, Amingaon, 21 Mtn Div Borjhar. (b) The report before filtration & after filtration to be submitted by contractor in the approved format. (c) Transformer oil for topping up will be measured under respective item of Sch A. (d) The Break down voltage minimum value should be 60KV.

Supply only Transformer oil confirming to IS 335 Std for topping up in distribution transformer duly filtrated under respective item of Sch A complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting of transformer complete including conservator tanks, fins etc with two coats of smoke grey synthetic enamel paint after preparation of surface by cleaning agents and spray painting machine all as specified and directed for the following capacity:-

Transformer capacity up to 250 KVA

Transformer capacity from 250 KVA to 500 KVA

M&L for disconnecting the Pole mounted /platform mounted outdoor type distribution transformers situated at various locations inside various sub stations in other than Basistha area of rating 11/0.433 KV of any make and transporting to workshop for repairs/ rewinding. Dismantling the transformer and accessories, removing insulating oil, taking out the core assembly, taking out the defective winding, cleaning the transformer complete internally and externally, rewinding burnt HT/LT coil with existing guage of copper super enamelled wire/ copper strip of existing size, providing new insulation, sleeves for outlet connections, opening the complete core assembly, reassembling, including dehydration and filtration of Transformer oil to achieve desired dielectric strength, carrying out routine test, re-installation and commissioning. The repair work also includes the routine tests i.e. IR value, High voltage test, Ratio test, Short circuit test & BD value of oil of the transformer to be carried out at workshop for following capacities of transformer :- Notes:- (i) Copper winding wire/strip will be measured and paid separately. (ii) Insulating oil for topping up will be measured and paid separately. (iii) Transportation of transformer for repair and re-installation is deemed to be included in quoted rates.

Transformer capacity from 50 to 100 KVA.

Transformer capacity more than 100 KVA and upto 250 KVA

Supply only LT leg coil of copper conductor for transformer of capacity 50 to 500 KVA complete with insulation, varnishing by vacuum impregnation and baking coil assembly, etc. as required complete all as specified and directed. Note: Weight of LT leg coil shall be measured and paid as per actual measurement on ground.

Supply only HT leg coil of copper conductor for transformer of capacity 50 to 500 KVA complete with insulation, varnishing by vacuum impregnation and baking coil assembly, etc. as required complete all as specified and directed. Note: Weight of HT leg coil shall be measured and paid as per actual measurement on ground.

Disconnecting the distribution transformers outdoor / indoor type from HT/ LT system and opening carefully at site only by draining out transformer oil upto HT/LT boxes for rectifying the leakage by replacing the unserviceable spare parts of capacity 25 to 500 KVA transformer, refilling the transformer oil and complete assembling after repairs including testing for any oil leakages and connecting the HT/ LT system after the leakages have been rectified and tested on available electric load. Note: Defective parts replaced will be measured and paid separately as "Supply only" under respective items here in after.

Supply only LT bushing with brass studs of existing specification complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only top cover gasket set complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only HT bushing with brass studs 11 KV of existing specification complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement explosion vent diaphragm of suitable size to match with the existing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of breather assembly transparent plastic body with top and bottom portion pressed with metallic cover, filled with silica gel blue in colour and suitable for fixing on existing pipe of size 15/20/25 mm dia with suitable reducers/connectors etc as per site requirement/capacity of transformer complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of modification if any required to fix on existing MS Pipe.

Dismantling and taking down unserviceable MS cross arms bracings and supports, clamps, nuts and bolts etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down of unserviceable HT insulators of any size/type/capacity and keeping aside for safe custody for further disposal complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for mild steel cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape/size as directed including painting with two coats of approved colour over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Surface excavation in hard/dense soil including sand and pebbles for removing vegetation and bushes not exceeding 30cm depth in Power houses / sub-station area complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregates) for pedestal/coping including necessary form work finished fair using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) for foundation of pole/ stay/ angle/ pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing and erecting steel tubular swaged pole 11.00m long Type-410 SP-55 conforming to IS-2713 part-I to III 1980 with and including cast iron base plate, finial taper, plug, nuts, bolts and washers etc. and fixed into plain cement concrete foundation duly painted with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer including preparation of surfaces and making strip 150mm wide upto 1.50m (above PCC coping) by black, yellow paint in alternate layers and pole nos. including dismantling of old poles of any description including demolition of concrete foundation complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Earth work, cement concrete will be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

Supply, spreading & leveling aggregate of gauge 40 to 80 mm around the transformer, HT two pole structure, HT four pole structure etc in the sub stations complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick of size 25 x 20cm mild steel sheet vitreous enameled white with letter, figures and conventional skull & bones in signal red colour & fixed with MS clamps, bolts, nuts and for HT 11KV including taking out old unserviceable rusted out danger plates complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning in replacement of 11KV outdoor type Polymer based gang operated air brake switch triple pole, suitable for vertical mounting complete with expulsion fuses, Gl operating rod of suitable length for operating mechanism worked from ground level complete in both OFF and ON positions, for current rating upto 200 Amps, each pole consist of galvanised steel base HT insulators as per BSS / ISS non ferrous knife and spring loaded contacts, arching horns of adequate section to brake magnetizing current of the transformers. All ferrous parts hot dipped galvanised and non ferrous parts heavily tinned to withstand weather complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement Polymer based dropout fuse unit complete set suitable and including for 11 KV, HT outdoor and dropout type of capacity 200 Amps including jumper connections with copper flexible designed jumper and testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement Polymer Pin type insulator of 11 KV including necessary hardwares complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement Polymer disc type insulator, ball and socket type, 2 in series for 11 KV including necessary hardwares complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of synthetic rubber insulating mat of size 2m x 1m (2.5mm thick) complete all as specified and directed.

Lifting/Shifting of Transformer of any size/capacity carefully by suitable transportation (crane) by opening of all HT/LT electrical connections, earthing strips foundation nuts and bolts etc. after disconnecting HT/LT electric supply and reconnection at shifted place after completion of PCC foundation complete all as specified and directed.
