| 5 | Providing and fixing double Tubular scaffolding system using H-Frames / APS system or (cup lock type) on the exterior side made with 40mm dia M.S. tube 1.5m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in-Charge. Note : 1. The elevation area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. 2. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. 3. The scaffolding system drawing shall be got approved by Engineer-in-Charge. 4. The contractor has to observe all safety procedure while working on heights as per I.S. 3696 (Part-I) (Safety Code for scaffolds). 5. Screen of suitable material shall be provided to the full height of scaffolding and securely tied to protect falling objects coming out during the work is in progress. 6. | 6 | Providing and laying High performance acrylic elastomeric water proofing treatment system including preparation of surface by cleaning the surface by washing thoroughly by mechanical and manual means, making surface free from dirt/oil/other materials, removal of loose/ cracked mortar joints of weathering tiles, filling the cracks using approved crack fillers, filling/injection/grouting the cracks/joints where ever required with polymer modified cement mortar using admixtures, loose tiles shall be fixed firmly, applying bond coat, applying second coat of two component highly flexible cementious water proofing coat, applying third and fourth coat of high performance acrylic elastomeric coating, leak test, etc., all complete as detailed below as per manufacturer specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. i) Crack Treatment: Making V groove (upto 6mm depth and 6 mm width) along the surface cracks, cleaning the surface by sprinkling water to remove all the loose particles, dust and filling the cracks with Polymer modified cementitious crack sealer from ‘Renderoc CS of Fosroc / Mixbuild GP of FAB Chemical / Ceragrout 40 of CERA CHEM / Crack fill of Bostik Crack fill Bostik or other approved equivalent’, Mixing ratio, consumption and application procedure shall be as per manufacturer specifications ii) Bond Coat (1st Coat): Applying Base primer bond coat with ‘Mix Bond SBR of FAB chemical / Cera Latex SBR of CERA CHEM / Boscocem 475 of Bostik or other approved equivalent’ over the existing surface. Mixing ratio, consumption and application procedure shall be as per manufacturer specifications. iii) Glass Fibre Mesh: Laying the Glass Fibre mesh of 45-50 GSM of ‘Mixmat GFM 50 of FAB chemical / GEOTEXTILE 50GSM or other approved equivalent’ over the above bond coat is still green. Overlaps of joints of fibre cloth should not be less than 100mm or as per manufacturer specifications. iv) Highly flexible cementious water proofing coat (2nd Coat): Applying 2 component waterproofing coating of ‘Mixguard AC of FAB Chemical / Ceralastic of CERA CHEM / Boscolastic of Bostik / Brushbond RFX of Fosroc or other approved equivalent’, Mixing ratio of chemicals, consumption and application shall be as per manufacturer specifications. v) Highly performance acrylic elastomeric water proofing coat (3rd and 4th Coat): Applying seal coat and top coat using acrylic elastomeric waterproofing coating ‘Mixtex Super of FAB Chemical / Nitoproof 600 PF of Fosroc / Ceraflex of CERA CHEM / Elastocoat of Bostik or other approved equivalent’ Mixing ratio of chemicals, consumption and application shall be as per manufacturer specifications. | 50 | Sq.m. | - | - |

| 10Providing repair work to the cracks in joints between plastered wall to column/beam junctions and other required locations and at all elevations upto 20 to 30mm deep and below mentioned width including preparing the surface, applying polymer bonding agent, cost of all materials, labour, tools, tackles, equipment’s, transport etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and as per the specifications. a) Surface preparation: Chipping and removing the existing plastered wall surfaces to the required depth and surface preparation such as removing the loose materials, dust and other laitance with wire brush and coir brush, etc. complete. b) Bonding coat on surface: Providing and applying a coat of epoxy resin based bonding agent of ‘Cera Bond EP / Fosroc Nito Bond EP/ Sikadur-32 IN’ or approved equivalent to the cleaned and prepared concrete surface prior to applying of polymer modified mortar. c) Polymer modified mortar : Applying polymer modified mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 crushed stone sand) admixed with ‘Cera latex SBR / Fosroc Nito Bond SBR / Sikalatex SBR or approved equivalent’ at 6% weight of cement (or as per manufacturer recommendation) for a thickness of 20mm to 30mm by mechanically or manually and neatly finished as instructed over the prepared surface. Note: 1) Scaffolding will be paid in separately in the relevant item. 2) The contractor shall arrange the suitable safety arrangements for executing the work at his own cost as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. | |||||
