Job Work for operation and maintenance of PHED water supply installations, including operation of pumping machinery, motors, pumps and sluice valves: watch and ward of Water Works, Boosters, Raw Water Pump Houses, Sump Wells and other PHED installations by deployment of requisite outsourced manpower along with payment of salary/wages, statutory allowances/benefits, safety equipment, PPE, uniform and other necessary provisions: upkeep and maintenance of plantations, trees, grassy lawns and premises: attending minor repairs of water distribution system including minor leakage, joints, ferrules, valves and allied fittings: cleaning of inlet/raw water channels including removal and disposal of silt, sludge, weeds, vegetation and debris: attending minor repairs of electrical appliances and allied installations: regular patrolling of inlet channel for checking leakage, blockage, unauthorized tapping, damage, encroachment and other abnormalities: and cleaning/desilting of storage/sump wells including dewatering, removal, lifting and disposal of silt/sludge/debris and all other works complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and as per provisions of the approved maintenance estimate, including all labour, tools, tackles, safety arrangements and incidental charges necessary for satisfactory completion of the work.
