M&L for preparation of old painted wooden or wood based surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint, complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for preparation of old painted steel and iron surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint, complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for securing of old glass of any description in existing metal frame glazed with putty / beads including removing loose or decayed putty, beads painting / oiling one coat on rebates, groves reputting and painting / oiling putty surface to match existing work (New length of frame where putty done shall be measured) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair 3mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in square not exc 0.5 sqm in each pane including painting / oiling to new putty to match with the existing/new surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for items mentioned in BOQ for periodical services as per the direction of Engineer in Charge/GE :- The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :- (a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorized applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the GE. (b) The Contractor shall submit the documents “Memoradum of Understanding” (MoU) before starting the subject work with atleast one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract documents. (c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures as per site requirement. (d) Removing of nails, making good holes, cracks etc as per site requirement. (e) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, plasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary. (f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes. (g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery, electric fittings, wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (h) Removing and existing furniture for painting work and replacing the same post painting work, movable cupboard, chicks, blinds etc.

(j) Sample patch of 10 Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodicals and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further subject work. The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :- (k) GUARANTEE OF PERIODICAL SERVICES: Periodical services against item No 15,16, 22 & 72 of BOQ using mechanized equipment’s only executed under this contract are under the guarantee of contractor for 05 (Five) Years after the certified physical completion of work. Contractor is fully liable under this guarantee to rectify and redo all defective work intimated to him during this period including all type of materials and labour to the specifications catered for in the contract. In case contractor fails to rectify the defective work, Accepting officer shall get the rectification done as necessary at the risk and cost of contractor and recover the cost in full from the contractor. If the contractor consider that any additional treatment is required over and above that specified here in before in Schedule ‘A’, the same shall be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government.

Demolition of cement concrete unreinforced, of any desciption and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for (sunken floor) and remove concrete debris and rubbish off to a distance n exc 100m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar (1:3) with WPC as in sunken slab, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of roof surfaces/sunken portion & applying evenly a tack coat of industrial bitumen 85/25 grade @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm including APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3.6 kg/sqm and minimum 3 mm thick reinforced wih polyster non woven fabric (weight not less than 150 gms/sqm) land on primed surface by forced application, joints to be tourched hot and width of overlaps not be less than 150 mm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:7:12 F-2 (40 mm graded aggregate ) in lean concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for non-skid, ceramic, coloiured tiles, 7 to 8 mm thick (square/rectangular ) area of each tile exc 0.06 sqm but not exc 0.11 Sqm as in floor of shade & designed as approved by GE, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed with white cement with colour pigment to match the colour of tiles, including 15 mm thick rendering in bedding layer or screed bed in cement mortar (1:6), in floors including dismantling tiles etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Glazed ceramic jointless light/coloured tiles of size 350mmx450mm, thickness not less than 6mm as in vertical surfaces such as skirting/dado etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed with white cement and pigment to match, laid over and including 10mm thick plastering in cement mortar (1:4), including dismantling tiles etc, complete all as specified and directed.
